how much estrogen in ortho cyclen

Has anyone ever switched from Loestrin 24 to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Anybody ever gotten pregnant while on the "lo estrogen" pills? I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????

Now my causing says that the name brand has pink pills insted of green ( the last 7 pills ) and it spins to dispence every pill, and trinessa you have to punch trough the bottom to get the pills... Now I just want to know how the name brand of ortho tri cyclen really looks like, if anyone can provide a pic would be very helpful ...... Please I don't need anyone making fun of me here so for anyone that thinks this is just too stupid please don't post anything here ...

s not worth messing everything up with a pregnancy at our age. She was taking ortho tri cyclen and everything seemed fine, but her doctor switched her over to Yaz and ever since then it's been horrible. She's always got very bad mood swings, and her sex drive is ZERO and it hurts when we do it. I figured I'd ask on here because it's hurting our relationship and I love her and don't want anything to come between us.

I have been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for almost 6 months. I always got my period when I started my green pills but this month I didnt. But as soon as I finished the green pill I had a light brown discharge only once. Just wondering what this could be?

I was debating between Ortho Cyclen, Ortho Tri Cyclen or Othro Tri Cyclen Lo.. I am currently on Ortho Cyclen but I was thinking why am I pumping all this hormones into my body each month. I went to the gyno yesterday and was given Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo to help regulate my periods. I have not had a period since March 2008. I started taking ortho tri-cyclen birth control pills since august 4, 2013 to help regulate my periods. I started my cycle/bleeding august 14 to 24 which was very odd to me b/c my cycles r 5-6 days long but this time it wasn't and my period came august 14, 2013 but it would usually come At the end of the month or sometimes the beginning or not at all. Don't take Plan B when you're already on the pill. You're already protected by being on the pill. The only time you need to worry about talking the bc pill at the same time daily is when you're on the mini pill, which has a much higher failure rate when it's taken later. But being on the ortho tri cyclen the timing isn't important as long as it's not something majorly late. Like 12 hours late would be pushing it but 6 hours is not a big deal.

Ok...so i began taking the ortho tri-cyclen lo last friday as the quick start option. I am normally supposed to be on my period right now. BUT it has not started yet and i'm beginning to worry. Does taking the pills as the quick start prevent my period from normally happening? Or is it supposed to just start when i get to the "inactive" pills in the pack? I switched to Estrostep 1/20 for 6 months and it got even worse. Then I switched to Ortho Cyclen in hope that the higher estrogen dosage would help. It has and my face is almost clear after 3 months. I have taking Lexapro for 2 years now, at first, i had similar symptoms you are describing, sleepless nights, dry mouth, stressed out jaws, upset stomach...however, they all withered away a couple of months into the tratment and now practicly gone. I stopped taking my Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo on the 20th of this month, but before I even stopped taking it (the 19th) I was having some light spotting, it continued for 3 days, just light brown/pink spotting, I noticed it was EW like, just brownish, does that mean I ovulated this month, or is that just a side effect of stopping my BC, having EWCM???
