i do not get dizzy no matter how much i try, (thats another story) isnt it too early? how much of this may be legit? how much is in my head and how much is from the hormones? its now 28 months ttc and were really just ready for it!! please help me straighten myself out! one week to go and i dont want to start going nuts and do not want to get our hopes up.
BUT, if I wanted to pay for the RX without using my insurance card, it would be $4.00!!! Unbelievable! It really does pay to shop and ask, ask, ask. It's still hard for me to believe that medication is a marketable commodity!! Tony, We just filled several prescriptions for my MIL at Medco. They were great to work with and very price-competitive. We can also use Medco mail order, but no savings. However, I'm thinking it would be nice to have a 90 day supply...
The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
He tells me that I would have to go to Pain Clinic and they would call him with what to prescribe. He gives me no name to clinic and i believe i have to be referred with my insurance. So who does that or i am I suppose to find one and have them call Dr. I also asked if if i should still see my Rheumatologist for Fibromyalgia and Arthrits Pain(all symptoms from Lyme) He says Yes to keep seeing her.
I know he said take one with meals, I think it was the Zithromax. I believe he said take Ceftin after meals. What does jump out of the frying pan into the fire mean? LOL. I never heard that saying before.
Here I thought , Oh my God, I am going to have a stroke, but they didn’t even send me to the hospital, nor did they take me serious. I said how dizzy I was for 8 months, and how I could feel the muscles in my face tighten up, especially my jaw, throat and tongue. I was sent home with the advice to drink more water. I was very frustrated and eventually decided it was time to get a different neurologist. I had other issues arise that were neurological in nature throughout 2009 and 2010.
Not sure if the meds he just put me on is for the bart, but, I do remember the word babesia and how much my symptoms are related to it. I didn't realize how much Mepron is.. my insurance will only pay for 21 days so I have to call my LLMD and ask for them to write another script for the remainder at $50.00. So for the 30 days of zithromax and mepron, its going to cost me $110.00. Not to mention, the office visit at 145.00. Does this disease make people go bankrupt or what??
Yay! But he does not take my insurance plan. How much does it usually cost to see a person outside of your insurance?
Doctor reccomends 1/2 dose of shots- no pills as long as my body can handle it- to hopefully avoid relapse. Similar case studies? Does pegasus come in 90 prefilled? Can you get new needles to use for 1/2 shot 2nd week?
I have been in treatment pretty much continually for 4 1/2 yrs. On a cocktail of Doxy, Rifampin, and Zithromax alternating days, for 2 1/2 yrs. was off for a yr and have been back on Ceftin and Doxy since October but have added something for BioFilm (Feel free to message me about that) and am seeing some great results! It's definitely a disease which you have to educate yourself about. I got so lucky because my friend, who is also an acupuncturist was a patient of the Lyme Specialist.
1. I doubt your symptoms reflect any infection caught during the exposure you describe. "Sensitivity at the tip of the penis", without the other symptoms you mention, simply isn't suggestive of any STD or other infection, and I would not expect the symptom to clear up on any of the antibiotics you received (or any other antibiotics). I doubt an infection of any kind explained it. 2.
This is only useful when started within 72 hours of starting symptoms Since the vast majority of patients without risk factors recover fully, they don't typically benefit from Tamiflu. If you get pneumonia (seen on a CXR) soon after an ILI, consider asking your doctor for both antibiotics AND Tamiflu even if it's more than 72 hours after your symptoms started. This is more helpful for those who are more sick.
I am not certain how long I can avoid sex without raising suspicion though. We don't have sex often, but 3 months is pushing it.
I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out. The last one about 2 years ago stopped me breathing in and out completely for 10 to 15 seconds and I thought I had bought it.
DH loves that the baby loves to snuggle up against him already, it makes me feel really good about it too just hopefull it likes to snuggle just as much with me. Why haven't you been able to sleep? How is DH doing?
Surgery provides immediate relief—significant relief—but it often does not provide a permanent cure. What you will learn in this book is how to clear out the infected schmoo in your sinuses, even more effectively than surgery does, without somebody sticking a machine up your nose. 12. THE COLD The common cold is caused by several different viruses, in fact over a hundred of them. They have names like maxilovirus and rhinovirus.
If they are that careless with their own protection... kind of makes you wonder how much they value ours..??? Bean... I still want my implant... but nobody would do it before I quit smoking for 6 months... originally when I was going to have it done they used donor bone... & actually where going to use my own from my hip .... all this could have been avoided of-course had I not of gotten incarcerated & gotton proper care & if hospital emergency rooms had oral surgons on staff...
Honestly, so far I've only had the internet to help me stress-dose during an infection. I've mostly been treated by my GP who admits to ignorance on the entire subject. I still haven't started the course of Cipro he ordered. I'm not vomiting or anything, but I feel really tired/wobbly and out-of-it on and off. I've had this borderline respiratory and sinus infection for almost two months now, after I fought off the worst of it.
Lyme is caused by spiral-shaped bacteria in the same family as syphilis, and I would not spend time or money tidying up my old fillings before I moved aggressively to treat syphilis -- and ditto for Lyme. Much of the medical community does not take Lyme seriously, so there is much figuring out to be done by us, the patients. The positive Lyme 'bands' that you report are pretty impressive, from what I read.
As far as differential diagnosis-) If what you say is true than how on earth does the research community ever pronounce any disease modifying drug efficacious in MS? If we have no markers for quantifying improvement , how can we collect any data points? There are, in fact, many measures including MRI studies and detailed symptom histories. Also, keep in mind that a spirochetal illness like lyme creates a very distinct reaction to proper administration of antibioitcs.
Also, I've been exercising at least 30 minutes per day regardless of how much pain i'm dealing with, as I feel i need to continue to move my body (get the free endorphins pumping!!). Good luck to you!
I'm not sure how much HIV should really be considered in regards to the CD57 count if you have already tested negative for HIV anyway. The only other one is chronic Lyme. Mine was 34 when I was tested and I was sick. It has risen to 100 since my last test and after about a year of treatment and I have not retested it in a while.
But for someone to treat solely because they feel fatigued, IMO they are not only setting themself up for potentially a big disappointment but not accurately weighing the actual risk and rewards. The other points regarding how much she may be focusing on the disease are quite valid and something I assume she's aware of. I showed up here a couple of days after I started treating and gave Hep C very little thought prior to that.
however ridiculous that sounds... but if you go a few days without sex or wanking it pretty much clears up...
Good luck with your new cycle and I hope it all works out and we both get pregnant and then we can talk about swollen feet and how much we eat during the holidays. Hopefulx--I am pretty sure it was to early to test, so keep your hope alive. Even if you get a negative result your blood could still show positive. My last HPT I did the day before blood work and it was 11 DPT and it was positive, but everyone warns not to get your hopes up b/c it could always be a false positive.
You don't know how much it means to me that you write back so quickly. I feel like no one believes the pain I am in. I am seeing a psychiatrist and therapist. One thing I wanted to mention was that my scalp pain goes in cycles. For about 4 days it will hurt to the point of tears and then overnight it will turn to severe itching. I was also diagnosed with Chronic Telogen Effluvium and have lost about 30% of my hair over the past 8 months.
I don't think a discussion of my situation will add much but if you do feel free. I still haven't learned where/how the HCV was detected on biopsy except that a stain was used so perhaps it was intra-cellular detection. When I find out I will post but I think your assumption is correct. What my situation reveals, assuming my surgeon is correct, is that a change in the immune system can result in liver injury in SVRs.
I too have started experiencing chills without fever. Full blood tests - all negative. I'm curious to know how many sufferers share some common aspects. How many people started with the chills following a cold or flu? How many sufferers are taking statins (Simvastatin)? How many sufferers are taking Atenolol (Tenormin)? How many sufferers also get regular kidney infections?
