To have an accurate baseline is important when you DO decide to treat. How well you're responding is based on how much your viral load is dropping .. and if you don't know where you started, how do you know if you dropped 1 log or 2 logs or by how much. It puts a big question mark on everything. So, to me, an accurate baseline is very important. I could dig up studies because I know that adds validity as it does to me too ..
I am a 76 year old stroke survivor, December in 2012, and have been looking at PeriSpinai Etanercept at the LA INR Clinic. There is also a Clinic in Florida. I found this info at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZwCDT50PJI Reverse Stroke | Amazing New Stroke Cure . It is given by a Dr Edward Tobinick, for up to $6,000 for those without insurance. There is additional information here http://www.nrimed.com/ . Hope this helps.
Remicade, Enbrel, etc that seem to work for some - but they cost like $5,000 per month and I think I would only like to go there as a last resort. Anyone here able to share with me their experience with Tramadol/ultram -- good or bad. would also like to hear from anyone using biologics.
others here have anecdotally reported problems obtaining insurance authorization for epo without meeting the ins. company’s guidelines. If you have the energy, you might contact your agent or company directly and inquire; that will help take some of the guesswork out of this. At 104 lbs (47 kg) a dose reduction to 600 mg ribavirin would leave you at 14.
I doubt anyone will tell you how much he will recover. How was his general health before his stroke? Being asleep most of the time may be a good thing. It allows the brain to recover better. It may be that his doctor is keeping him asleep. It may be weeks before you really know how much damage was done. Typically, the first 90 days after a stroke will show the best rate of recovery. The next 90 days will be a bit slower and so on until one year out.
I have severe joint and muscle pain as well as fatigue and dont know how long I can keep working, My employer does not understand and neither do my doctors want to admit this. Funny they stopped giving full doses of the Albuferon a month after I finished due to sides. Now they say cant be from treatment.I am very frustrated as I cant get anywhere with docs or job. My wife has been a rock throughout.I wish you all well.
No side effects, and costs only $30 per month without health insurance - the only possible downside is that it may not cure your incurable disease. People are using it for cancer, Crohn's, MS, fibromyalgia, autism, and all other autoimmune diseases. For hep c LDN will not eradicate the virus, but it will reduce the viral load levels and inflammation drastically and keep them there. Meanwhile, many naturopaths do the IV lipoic acid treatments - they do not have to be MDs to do so.
This problem is interupting my life so much and I don't have any insurance anymore so I can't get any help. I feel like I have aged so much, I don't feel 28 at all. I am so sick of being in pain all the time.
I am not sure that all the labels they put on the various syndromes, (lupus, FM, etc) do much to help us understand why and how they do what they do to us. Ask your doctor if FM is an autoimmune disease...and I bet you do not get a direct answer. I do not think the answer is known. We just know that we (most of us) HAVE it.
I too have started experiencing chills without fever. Full blood tests - all negative. I'm curious to know how many sufferers share some common aspects. How many people started with the chills following a cold or flu? How many sufferers are taking statins (Simvastatin)? How many sufferers are taking Atenolol (Tenormin)? How many sufferers also get regular kidney infections?
I have been in such intense pain that I have decided to take the plunge and have the surgery - here's the catch, he won't know until he gets in how much surgery there will be . . . in other words, he will start arthroscopically but, he may have to do open surgery. Has anyone had experience with this? And if so, how is it recovering? Thanks and wish me luck.
Others have said it went away eventually without anything worse happening. The body does an amazing job of repairing itself, and there is evidence nerves are able to recover more than was ever thought possible. My personal hypothesis is that stress caused a little nerve damage by either: A. more muscle tension in my back, compressing my main nerve OR B. lots of "stress" chemicals in the blood for a long period of time - known to hurt nerves.
My question is, how much of having Strep B is caused by sex? I understand that this infection is most common in pregnent women. Well I found out that the man that I was dating had a women who was pregnant. How does these situations relate to one another?
itch without rash. Went to lots of Drs, not much help. Was told I had Atopic dermatiti, which is basically a catch-all phrase for itching all over. Anyway I started taking Hydroxyzine 25mg. 1 each night. It does have the side effect of making you tired at first and it takes a month or so to really have an effect. But I am now 36, still take 1 Hydroxyzine 25mg a night and I have not had much of an itch for about 15 years.
My beta blocker for my heart does keep my heart in much better check but does nothing to help. Anti anxiody meds do not seem to help I am going to keep plucking away at this until they figure it out. Has anyone else been having a problem where you are just laying there watching a movie not really thinking of much but you get short of breath and you feel like your body is forgetting to breath so you take in that large breath? That has been happening a lot over the last two weeks.
And you won't believe how much better you feel. This experience has also given me the guts to stop smoking. For a good treatment of addictive behavior, try Allen Carr's books -some of them are even at the library. Good luck to everyone!
He is refering me to an ENT to further evaluation. Does anyone know how the maxillary cysts are removed? How long is recovery? I have had just about everything done to my nose from just putting my bones in place after the accident to keep them from floating to deviated septum and all that. It seems that maxillary cyst are common however I am concerned about the size of mine and of couse the headaches and vision problems I experience. Any advice is helpfull!
I’ve read lots of posts, most report having similar pains, but not much on why, how it relates or how to fix.
the pain subsides with in a minute or two.It must be the sodium that is helping... I can't explain how it works but it does and it is fast. I figured out this by comparing my sudden attacks to a condition that my horses have had which is called Hypercalmic Periodic Paralysis. The lack of sodium causes a muscle cramping that makes the horses nearly unable to move when it strikes and the home remedy for this is baking soda and water.
After this all i can do is sleep and although now hungry my stomach feels so tender eating is definately off the agenda for the next day or two OUCH. I don't know how much more i can take the doctor keeps fobbing me off but seriously you feel like your gonna die sometimes once my boyfriend phoned an ambulance but as it all happens so quickly the only thing left to see by the time i arrived was diarrhea that was a great experience.
I also have this symptom. It has been happening for at least 2 years, at least once a month. My blood pressure is 90/60. It usually happens on the palm side of various fingers, but in April, I had one rupture on my knuckle. I'm very interested in any comments.
