My insurance probably won't cover thyrogen shots for my year scan and thyroglobulin test. Does anyone know how much 3 shots would cost me??? I don't look forward to going off my meds for several weeks since it took me 7-8 months to finally feel good after my tt. I was on 8 different synthroid doses until we got it right. I'm on 250mcg. I would rather pay for them then be miserable.

Hi again I would like to add that yes we have all see the posts about side effects that some people have experienced. Most if not all are related to treatment with interferon and while the problems those people have experienced are not good they are experienced by a minority of patients. Also I believe at least some of them had other medical conditions which most likely complicated their treatment or their livers were already in bad shape to begin with.

The cost of the medication is outrageous. Our doctor has written us new prescription for him for Adderall during the day and Ritilan for homework time if it is needed. Adderall definitely has much more of a kick to it then vyvanse does so I can see why she says it gives her more energy. I'm prescribed 60mg vyvanse and its perfectly fine. As long as you take it the same time in the morning. If you take it at random intervals especially at night it can really effect your sleep patterns. Which is bad news. Taking addy recreationally to get studying done at night is common but not recommended. Habit forming for sure.

I know no one here is really qualified to answer this, but how would you think a low dose (10mg) of adderalls stimulating effects, compare to drinking energy drinks, and using nicotine several times a day (I chew, about 3 times per day). I am on a low dose of adderall, 5mg twice per day, it should probably be more but it has a positive effect and im comfortable with it right now.
