Avatar f tn The ones covered by insurance we don't see the price they send it straight to the ins. company.
197575 tn?1215532624 My insurance probably won't cover thyrogen shots for my year scan and thyroglobulin test. Does anyone know how much 3 shots would cost me??? I don't look forward to going off my meds for several weeks since it took me 7-8 months to finally feel good after my tt. I was on 8 different synthroid doses until we got it right. I'm on 250mcg. I would rather pay for them then be miserable.
Avatar m tn Hi again I would like to add that yes we have all see the posts about side effects that some people have experienced. Most if not all are related to treatment with interferon and while the problems those people have experienced are not good they are experienced by a minority of patients. Also I believe at least some of them had other medical conditions which most likely complicated their treatment or their livers were already in bad shape to begin with.
1831849 tn?1383228392 Most of us are at the mercy of docs and insurance companies when it comes to our treatment. We are often asked to undergo treatment or tests without knowing much about the cost to us. My Tysabri infusions are billed to the insurance company @$6,000 each. I couldn't get an info on MY cost before I started getting them in November. I started them anyway. My out of pocket for the 4 infusions to date is less than $600, my annual out of network deductible.
612551 tn?1450022175 As said our medical/prescription cost is covered by insurance with the usual deductible and once that is met, it now is with this one renewal, the major portion of the cost is paid by my insurance. I don't like high prices regardless of who/how it is paid: insurance, local or federal government, whoever/whatever. Still I wondered about Medicare Pard D, I think it is, for those who are over 65 and need insurance for this type of prescription cost.
497950 tn?1255863927 I am bipolar I with mixed episodes. (Also with rapid cycling :) fun stuff...) Has anyone tried any medicines that didn't cause weight gain and didn't cost a fortune. I am on Abilify right now but I am very quickly going to have to change because my insurance isn't that great and it cost me $100. I am on Neurontin and Celexa right now which is great but I can still feel myself going up and down all the time.
Avatar m tn I would also make sure your prescription insurance covers Abilify, as it is still under patent and there is no generic available at this time. For me, without insurance, a thirty day supply would cost about 260 dollars. So I would look into that as well, and, if it isn't covered, then perhaps you could get samples from your doctor.
3248163 tn?1354847640 I take Abilify and it cost about $650 a month. My insurance company would like me to try something else but since it is still in their formulary they have to cover it.
Avatar f tn I am on medicare Part D and take Abilify. Without Part D it is $600, with Part D it is approx. $200. Then, of course when you hit the donut hole after$2500 has been spent on meds the cost goes up to half the actual cost - $300 a month. Part D is not very good at reducing the cost of meds until you have spent more than $4550 in a year. If your income is low enough to get medicaid as your supplement then your med cost goes down below $10. Check with your county social services about getting help.
Avatar n tn Without insurance, it can cost $10,000 or more, depending on how much medication you need. Not sure about how much insurance would cover...I think that depends on your insurance policy. Best of luck!
Avatar f tn I really wish I had been diagnosed earlier in life, I feel I have wasted so much of my youth with major depression or dangerous manic states. I broke up with a bf of 6 years last Spring for the way he had been treating me and emotionally distancing himself within the last few months of our relationship and I had been having a hard time getting over it-- he presumably has bipolar disorder as well, but refuses to get diagnosed or get treatment.
Avatar f tn I didnt really know where else to put this, but does anyone know how much is the general cost that it would be to go see someone for help?
Avatar m tn I was on abilify along with effexor for about 6 months. I didnt have any side effects from it but it didnt do any good for me either so I got off it. It was really expensive too! Even with my insurance it still cost $90! If its working for you thats great! And you really arent supposed to drink while on anti depressants! It can make depression worse and alter the effect of the anti depressant. EVeryone reacts differently but I choose not to drink while on them! Best of luck to you!!!!
Avatar f tn I was floored when I found out how much abilify cost..$500.00!! ~ I have insurance,so it was only $20.00...that is scary! What if you lost your insurance, and it was really working for you??? My gson is on the smallest dose now. We just started getting help for my gson,so the doctor is really not sure if he is more than severe depression. The bad thing was for me,was when I went through menopause,I could not take anything.I went from being layed back,to a witch.....glad that is behind me.
1912569 tn?1485015929 DON'T stop taking the Abilify. Do make an appointment with the doc who prescribed it and tell him/her your concerns. You do not want to go back to that dark place that made you lose your marriage, have mood swings, act irrationaly, etc. I know you want the euphoria feeling but at what cost? Your doc can help you-- maybe lower your dose or change your med. Good luck and God bless.
Avatar f tn I am on zoloft which does not help with my anxiety, does adding abilify help with the anxiety and the depression?
Avatar f tn I don't hav alot of extra money but wld like to knw about how much it wld be to gt IVF?
Avatar m tn Yes the epogen alone - which i was on for 69 weeks, half the time at two doses a week cost at $6000 a box of ten at least $60,000 for just that one med. And that is a lowball estimate. Plus Ambien, Synthroid, Paxill, Fluticozane and whichever I'm forgetting aside from normal daily meds like Advil and Tylenol.
Avatar m tn Recently My Insurance decided they were going to be the Doctor and my funding for the Abilify ran out. I am not going to pay $543.00 for meds can't afford it and think that price is ludicrous. So now I am in cold turkey wean from Abilify. I know that I won't die from this, I know that my anxiety will increase big time. However, how long will the symptoms last and what else can I expect? I have been off the Abilify for 4 days and recently today started experiencing increased anxiety.
