its is not possible for amoxicillin to give u a UTI. On the contrary, it may help HEAL an existing UTI. it's possible you have contracted a UTI or something else recently, or the lower back pain etc. are all unrelated and transient problems that may go away on their own. how r u doing now?

Idk why she said monistat....that's for a yeast infection. But I've had a uti for majority of my pregnancy :( every time they prescribe me with something it come back after I finish the doses. I'm 38 weeks too, my baby is super duper active so the uti isn't messing with him lol. But yes take ur medicine n take all of it so u can feel better!!!

So, a while ago i posted thayt the doc put me on amoxicillin at 32weeks for the remainder of my pregnancy due to continuous UTI. Well, abour a week in of taking them i noticed that i was sore and swollen with some withish thick discharge. After a few days it went away. It has been coming and going every few days now. Hi. I had uti about a week ago I took amoxicillin that I had left over from a tooth being pulled. I'm pretty sure the uti went away. I don't have burning or urge to pee but my back is begging to hurt. I don't have chills or fever. Everyone in my house has some type of bug. I have a stomachache. They put me on Amoxicillin. For the remainder of my pregnancy because they think the bacteria is sitting in my kidneys. And I'm 33+2.
@Sammymarie92 so that amoxicillin give u yeast infection oh wow im taking meds for my yeast infection now that i gotten it 2weeks ago i dont like poping pills its better to get rid of the uti first because a yeast infection u get from multiple things and your symptoms relive quickly and a uti will turn to something eles
So i had 2 uti during this pregnancy(which is my first) then the doctor gave me amoxicillin(250g) to take 1 pill everyday for the reminder of the pregnancy and im due untill May 27th... And i have been taking the 1 pill everyday since he gave me the prescription which was in January but idk i feel like its too much medicine ... Anyone else had to take medicine during the whole pregnancy?
Anyway they also did a urinalysis and it came back with positive for white blood cells so she said thats it. Pain can be caused by a UTI in this area? She kind of brushed me off after this. The pain that goes down my back reminds me of the sciatic pain I had while pregnant? Could she have missed something on the ovary or something in the uterus that could be pushing on that sciatic nerve? Or could a UTI really cause pain like this?
