Avatar f tn Most of the healing process takes weeks to months, but this all depends on Age, Health, how many MG in one day and how many Yrs on these. We are here to help, so keep us updated. I am sure others will chime in. Wishing you the best and Congrats on getting off these type of meds.

Do not take a larger dose of zolpidem, take it more often, or take it for a longer time than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking zolpidem without talking to your doctor, especially if you have taken it for longer than 2 weeks.
Avatar n tn I posted on your other thread...I'm going to copy my reply here instead, so you can have just ONE thread going. More than one gets confusing. I'm sorry you're going through this, but I just wanted to say that no drug, in itself is inherently "bad". When taken correctly, and how it was intended, medications can really greatly help people. Ambien, along with any other med for insomnia are NOT meant for long term, regular use.
Avatar m tn Diphenhydramine will mess up your prostate long before it effects your liver. If zolpidem by itself doesn't work, you could try adding melatonin.
Avatar m tn Hello and hope you are doing well. Insomnia is a side effect of Amitriptyline. But you may develop tolerance to this effect. However if it persists, discuss your symptoms with your consulting doctor he may change the dose or the medications. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar m tn Can this affect my memory (with the amnesia side effects) or will that just be for the 7-8 hours while the drug is in my system? Also are there long term effects of zolpidem? I was instructed in class that zolpidem should only be given for short term around a month. My only other medical issue is mild-moderate tourettes that is managed well.
Avatar m tn how should I get rid of Zolpidem. Tapering it off is very hard but I think if I could use an alternative drug in place of Zolpidem for a little while, it would help. What is your suggestion? It would be a relief for me to hear from you soon.
397118 tn?1219762250 Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. What do you guys think? is it like he says that it stays in your body for a long time or he is still using?
Avatar f tn I know it is short acting but how long does it stay in your system? Is it 4 or 6 hours? The reason I am asking is sometimes if I have an attack and it helps but by bedtime I might start feeling like I'm going to have another. So I was worndering if it was the xanax wearing off or if I was just still feeling some more anxiety. Thanxs to all.
Avatar n tn Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.
Avatar n tn Gosh i must say you are mighty helpful and i truly thank you a ton for going out of your way to help me with this issue. Thank you a million.
Avatar m tn I am not sure on that, but the best place to go for that question is your pharmacist- they are really helpful with medication questions.
