Avatar f tn What is benzodiazepine & how long does it stay in your bloodstream? I had a UA done today to have my pain meds changed & they said I had a benzo...in my system. I havent taken anything in the past 2 1/2 weeks except my usually prescribed meds, but I had surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago & was in for 5 days & given A LOT of meds(9 pages of meds!), including temazepam & I think diazepam.
Avatar m tn It is true that the antibodies in the bloodstream contained unevenly? For example, if my doctor removes a sample of blood, so the amount of antibodies in the first blood sample will be different than the next blood sample? For example, the first blood sample is positive, but the other negative? If not, why not?
1279189 tn?1275244868 t have any withdrawals from your Vicodin. As Jaybay said you will need your Vicodin at the start while it is getting into your system. You will want to keep your Vicodin on hand for BT pain but you shouldn't need the number of pills that you were taking before once they get your dose correct on the Fentanyl. Usually the first dose of Fentanyl that they start you on isn't the one that you actually need. They will work you up slowly so that your system gets used to the strong medication.
320944 tn?1245966599 I know it will take awhile to get over the cravings, I was just wondering how long it actually stays in your system. Thanks for your input and I did not think your post was negative.
Avatar n tn Following wisdom teeth extraction I was given vicodin. I liked the way it made me feel and how it made dealing with everday problems seem easier. I've been taking about 10mgs a day (all at night) and 100mgs of tramadol during the day for about 6 months now. I've had enough and tapered down to almost nothing for a week before stopping completely. It's been 5 days now since I've had anything.
Avatar f tn Being discharged for a failed urine test-not having the prescribed vicodin in your system, AND having oxycodone NOT prescribed show up positive is likely going to make it very difficult, if not highly unlikely that another doctor will take you on as a new patient for some time.
Avatar f tn I think that it is possible that it can be in your system if you have been taking fertility medication or if you have a cyst on your ovaries that can sometimes cause it as well. No matter the reason though you should be seen by your doctor.
Avatar f tn As I went on, I started to feel more symptoms, chills, shaking, headache, mind fog, irritable bowels, extreme pain, weakness in arms and body, exhausted, and of course the blurred vision and other vision problems such as floaters, visual snow, light is too light, dark is too dark. I am still experiencing all of these symptoms at 1 month off now! Not able to exercise because of still rehabbing from the broken leg. When will these withdrawal symptoms go away? What about the blurred vision?
422881 tn?1257603579 How long does it take Entecavir to build up to suitable levels in the blood stream in order to control HBV? I’m trying to figure out if I need to continue with Interferon until the levels of Entecavir have built up and can hopefully control the HBV before I stop taking IFN. IFN has gotten me to UND VL and I don't want to give it a chance to rebound before Entecavir kicks in.

1049259 tn?1295088478 Ohhhh, and having tingly hands during a panic attack is perfectly normal...it is your body pulling the blood from your extremeities because it thinks it is in danger, a perceived danger, even if your not actually in danger. It is a protective mechanism...it happens to me all the time. The best thing to counteract it is take long, deep, slow breaths for several minutes.
Avatar f tn What I want to know is why do I have sheer exhaustion? I am so tired! How long will this last?
Avatar n tn No your not a piece of crap. Yes I'm a firm believer that addiction is a choice but it comes to a point when its in your brain and it becomes a mental thing. Being honest with your ob at this point is the beat thing you can do. We all make mistakes but its how we learn from them that matters the most. Stopping now might be hard but its what's best for your baby. And if he/she means that much to you then you will get help NOW instead of continuing and hiding it.
Avatar f tn You definitely need to be upfront with your doctor. Detoxing usually raises your blood pressure quite a bit, so you may need an increase in your blood pressure med for a little bit. If you are really wanting to do this, it is so important to be 100% honest and cut all of your sources for pills. That means changing your playground. You may have to distance yourself from friends who use. You can do this and you are in the right place to get support, encouragement, and info.
Avatar n tn t think there is such low dose as 10 mg, I heard of 50mg minimum, so if it is 10 pills a day no matter how many mg each is is a strong dependence he is on, the more mg the worse it is. It is not my intention to scare you, but those are hard facts. Unfortunately not too many doctors are aware of How addictive or how bad dependence can create the Tramadol.
Avatar f tn I look around me at people and wonder how it feels to feel human again, i look at the vicodin in my hand before i pop them in and start crying thinking this is my life now..i lost a lot of freinds im moody to the people i love the most...
Avatar f tn Medicines like Vicodin can cause nausea. There is no way to know how long it will take to get your appetite back, or if you will get your appetite back at all. Good luck with the switch to Tylenol.
5783082 tn?1374177161 Can you tell me a little more about your Sub use? How long did you use, how many mgs were you on, how many mgs were you on when you jumped off? If you're on Day 4 without feeling any ill effects you may be one of the lucky folks who won't experience the Sub WD's. I'm well aware Subs have a very long half-life (similar to Methadone) but you're already on Day 4 so hopefully you'll skip all of the nastiness.
Avatar f tn Hi there i was wondering how long you stay in hospital after a total thyroidectomy sorry for all the questions but i have no idea, my paperwork states in between 3-7 days just a few examples would be great thanks heaps :)
Avatar n tn So its important to keep up on your antidepressants and watch that closely in case you need an adjustment in your dosage or addition to your current regimen if your symptoms worsen greatly. Keep reading here, this is a great place you have found.
Avatar f tn How long does this STD stay in a mans body before it infects the woman? I've heard a few years. I need to know exactly how long.
