I personally would not choose seraquil for anxiety unless I had underlying symptoms.The benifit of seroquel is it stays in your system longer than the xanax does, it would also get rid of the comming down feeling you can sometimes get with xanax.25mg. of seroquel is a very low yet reasonable strength for your needs You can over time develop a resistant to the mgs. your taking and will have to raise the dose or go to something else.I am bi polar 1 rapid cycler with acute anxiety. I take 100 mgs.

My question is a simple one. If I go through it again either voluntary or involuntary HOW long can one expect the worst of symptoms to FINALLY subside. The crawling in the skin, vomiting, diarrhea, can't sleep or eat. I've done all kinds of research and have read the warnings and horror stories. I also know that it varies on body type, age, amount and length of abuse. I have also concluded that cold turkey although not suggested or liked will not kill you.

Hi, the XR is extended release, it releases a little at a time throughout the day, where as the standard Seroquel is like an instant hit, it makes you very sleepy. I wish there was a happy medium, 12 years later I am still searching.. my meds are constantly being tweaked, sometimes by myself which isn't advisable but I think a lot of BP sufferers are extremely aware of what helps and what doesn't...we are not given enough credit!

I mean I have an idea of how long withdrawal from an antidepressant anxiety last and how long startup anxiety from an antidepressant last about 7 to 10 days but I have no idea how long my raw untreated with an antidepressant would last . After recovery as regards psychosis I know when moodswings will occur. Things just don't seem right. Then as now the first person I talk about to about it is my psychiatrist. i take lithium, prestic and seroquel. recently i had two grand mal seizures; the worst kind and was in the hospital for 10 days. they put me on restraints, was in icu and 5 other days in neurology. i had a a ct, mri and spinal tap. the hospital took me off prestic, seroquel and lithium and the neurologist put me on lamital for both seizures and depression. also, i am taking invega and ativan for anxiety. the reason for my seizures is because of medicine.

It is fantastic! I had minor side effects from it. I had hand shaking. Once I adjusted, no problems and it went away. Drink lots of water on it and get regular blood tests for your kidney's, Thyroid and Lithium level. There is a range. They will probably start you on 900mg a day for two weeks, test your blood, then adjust you to the right range up or down. I happen to need 1450mg a day. I am at .9 which is perfect. .8 or .9 is great. You might gain a few pounds on it.

Seroquel stays in your system for a long time. I have never heard of that for a sleep aide. Its normally written for bipolar, its a psych med. Seroquel will make you gain weight and it will cause your self esteem to go down rapidly. You should try Ambian or Lunesta. they are the best out right now. As far as the weight ask for Effexor its for depression but has helped me lose weight.

Dear Ronndy I would say that 100 mg Seroquel is a very high dosage to treat insomina. Usually you would take only 10-25 mg in that respect. It seems that you could have some withdrawl problems as you stopped klonopin abruptly. As Paxiled pointed out it is a bit "heavy" to prescribe klonopin for insomnia when "lighter" medications are available, for instance zolpidem or zopiklone. Or anti-histamine(allergy-medication as atarax).

This dose is working for me and is not an overdose. My moods have been BAD BAD BAD as of late, so in addition to the seroquel being increased, so has my lithium.

Ok the title says it all lol, How long does marijuana stay in your system? I never did marijuana so don't know is for my nephew he keeps saying he is not doing any and every test is positive and occording to him the last time he use was 5 months ago but every month the test is positive. Oh, one question... What type of stomach problems? Did you mention the stomach problems to your doctor? Did she think that the stomach problems were because of a panic attack? If the stomach problems are a badly upset stomach, then I would go to Another doctor and let them know that you recently had the gardasil vaccine and you exerienced an upset stomach (mention this first) as well as the other more common side effects that you mentioned.
