Well the 1/2 life of hydrocodone is about 2 hours which means basically that 1/2 of the hydrocodone is metababilzed in that period of time. The rest metabolizes over the next 36 hours. Of course this is always dependent on the persons metabolic rate. Also there is a dependency on how much someone has taken of how long a period.

m still getting the cold sweats and not sleeping and just all around miserable. The question is How long does it take to get past this? My doctor told me I have an extra sensitivity to these pain killers cause most people require a lot more than I was taking to become addicted. I'm 56, going through menopause. I was told by a pharmacist that the codeine in Tylenol is no different than hydrocodone which is what is in lortab... So perhaps this is why they are thinking/asking if you are taking lortabs. Do you get T4 prescribed? if so just let them know and it should be no problem.... If you failed to tell them this however, then, yes...You may encounter a problem.

I wouldn't mess with the Tramadol. It's very addictive too. The worst should be over in 5-7 days. It's an opioid-induced abnormal sensitivity to pain. It's usually observed in ppl with long term use of opioids. It is not usually associated with one particular opioid but rather opiates in general. My personal opinion is that it's over used with physicians.

i think they should be out of your system in about 3 days. maybe depending how mcuh you take. but the better question is how do i get off. there are several ways to approach it. but i really need to know how many and how often and how you are taking them.

Hi scared tramadol is an opiod just as is hydrocodone is.That is why it is easing the withdrawal because you are not withdrawaing opiates when you take more opiates.I know that it has been said and even by some doctors that tramadol is not a narcotic.It is,and it is harder to get off of than the hydrocodone from what I hear.I would definitely stop taking this.I am sorry that you were misled.I was on oxy but the withdrawal symptoms are the same,just varying in intensity depending on which one.
