Common Questions and Answers about How long for solodyn to work

solodyn

Avatar n tn Solodyn is used for 'acne' and is NOT known for weight loss with it.
Avatar n tn I have the exact same problem. Bactrim doesn't seem to work so far. For the oily skin, my dermatologist recommended stopping to moisturize because he thought that I was over-moisturizing and causing breakouts because of excess oil. Hope this helps. I hate acne... it's the plague.
Avatar n tn s any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.
Avatar m tn My 18 year old daughter spent the last 4 months weening off Pristiq and now feel she really needs something for depression and anxiety. So my question, how long to start feeling the effects of Zoloft? She is starting at 50 mg for a week then moving up to 100mg. Any information would be helpful.. I realize everyone is different, but would like to know some experiences.
Avatar f tn If you are planning on working after you have the baby, it is good to work for as long as possible before the baby comes. here's why--- that time you take off counts toward your short term disability and the family medical leave. There are maximum days associated with both of those and you'd be using them to have the baby early. I worked until close to my due date with my first taking a few vacation days.

Avatar m tn I should have said how long will it for the symtoms to begin to go away?
Avatar m tn All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?
Avatar m tn Solodyn, acc. to the internet, is anti-bacterial, used for infections including in the brain area. So it sounds like your docs are taking your situation seriously. The next question would be whether (as your rightly ask) the Solodyn treats Lyme and therefore affects the Lyme tests. That, I don't know for sure, but it's not a reason not to take the meds. Any doc reading your test results would take into account the meds you are already on and the effect they might have on the tests.
Avatar m tn I recently came off a 3-month long session of Solodyn for a skin condition I was diagnosed with over the summer. Prior to that, I had been on antibiotics for a severe colds, twice and have gotten yeast infections twice due to those antibiotics, so it was inevitable that I was going to get another yeast infection after I finished the Solodyn.

He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days. my whole face now has tiny pimples starting to emerge in areas i never have had them before. I am supposed to see him in a few days. Please idk what else to do.
Avatar f tn It sounds like the both of you have kinda let his mother do all the work. That is understandable. It is not to late for you to get involved, but you have to make an effort to do so.
