After 2 steroid drops, Sooth XP, Freshtears gel at night, and now finally Restasis and Lotemax, I see no improvment. I have been taking the Restasis for 5 months now. If it was going to work, would it have worked by now? I show no signs of improvment. After spending lots of money that is hard for me to come up with, I am at my wits end. Any other suggestions?
I had cataract surgery 7 weeks ago. My distance with the crystalens is better, but like looking through vaseline. My up close vision and monitor distance is much worse than it was before and I'm seeing double. My surgeon says it can take 2-3 months to come into focus. I'm very concerned and quite anxious. I work on a computer 8 hours a day and don't want to pay for my glasses to be upgraded twice. Any suggestions ?
Hi. I've been having trouble with dry eyes these last 2 months but have just realized how bad the fluorescent lighting is at work. I grade papers all day long under these lights. I'm not on the computer except to maybe print 1 or 2 things off. My eyes ALWAYS start to bother me around 1:00pm. Shopping at Walmart has always been a problem too. Just the wind from walking down the aisles makes it hard for me. It's very embarrassing.
m wondering about the side effects of Restasis as I have to use it for 6 months. I know it is an immunosuppressive drug and I really don't know what that means? Does that leave my body open for other diseases because it suppresses my system so the eyes can make the tear film that was partially lost when the nerves were cut during the cataract operations? I don't want to be dependent on drugs for the rest of my life.
My Eye Doctor suggested I keep Restasis in the fridge to make more comfortable and reduce the burning and to keep using ir for 2 days. Does Restasis lose its effectiveness when placed in the fridge. Also when are results typically seen? I have a TBUT of 5 and hoping to see an increase if ues consistently.

Restasis is a wonder drug for moderate or severe dry eyes. My wife and I are both on it for years. You have not "tried restasis" until you've used it twice per day for a minimum of 6-7 months. Treatment failures when used that long are rare in my personal and practice experience.

So my question, how long to start feeling the effects of Zoloft? She is starting at 50 mg for a week then moving up to 100mg. Any information would be helpful.. If you are planning on working after you have the baby, it is good to work for as long as possible before the baby comes. here's why--- that time you take off counts toward your short term disability and the family medical leave. There are maximum days associated with both of those and you'd be using them to have the baby early. I worked until close to my due date with my first taking a few vacation days.
Some contacts work better than others with dry eyes. You might try switching to a different type/brand. Everyone's different, but 1-day Acuvue moist lenses worked well for me.
