I think the body is on the mend now - haven't spotted the past two days and basal temp back down. Just the heart needs to mend (how long does it take to get over this emotionally ?) I wish you all lots of luck as well - may we all share happy birth stories soon and a supersized-generous dousing of baby dust on you all !
off for about 4 years. Normal periods, spotting, 2 periods in one month and then months without one. Each year that I go to the gyn., he does an ultrasound & an endometrial biopsy (so far, good) and offers birth control pills and that's about it. So I guess this happens, and unless you're willing to try bcp, you just need to "stick it out.
im 17 and ive gotten the shot 3 times...first time i didnt bleed at all 2nd time twards the end when i needed a new shot i bled for a good month straight...i just got the shot again yesterday so hopefully it stops..i decided to switch to IUD after this last shot...if you get it uninsured theyll insert the one with no hormones and youll still get your periods...if your insurance covers it they can insert the one with hormones and you wont get your period and they both last 5 years.
how long do these withdrawals last if I'm on day 14 and was throwing up today and still feel all those symptons they say happens to you? i stopped cold turkey and i just want to know when all the pain will go away.
i had a missed miscarriage 5 weeks ago, i was 6 weeks along and everthing came away naturally and i stopped bleeding after 7 days. i decided not to wait untill i got my next period so i started ttc straight away. i have just taken 2 hpt which have shown me a positive result, could these be false readings because my body could still have the hcg hormone still in my system from my miscarriage? any replies would be of great help, thanks.
Am 5 weeks pregnant and I cramp every now and then most times in early hours of in d morining and it last like 15 to 20min is this normal?this is my 1st pregnancy and how long will this go on?can anyone help me pls.
I suspect my next lab will require yet another adjustment since I've been abnormally depressed and sleepy the last few weeks. how long did it take you after diagnosis to reach the correct dosage? (Not necessarily with all your symptoms resolved, but where you no longer had to keep getting blood work every 4-6 weeks) I understand it will always need to be adjusted somewhat every year or two, but I read "The Thyroid Solution" and the Dr.
Bleeding is a flow like a period, though it doesn't have to last that long. Implantation bleeding is some light spotting that happens around the time you would expect a fertilized egg to implant (about 5-7 days after ovulation), it's apparently not that common but everyone ttc gets really excited with any spotting at that time, hoping that is what it was.
I am well aware of the side effects of the Paraguard IUD but seriously folks, how long does it last? It will be 1 year this month since I had one put in. I am still spotting a lot between cycles that I don't know when my official period starts or when it ends. If I get one week per month of no bleeding, it's a miracle. What's the point of this IUD if you can't have sex due to bleeding? It's so annoying. The spotting has gotten a little lighter but nonetheless, it's very frustrating.
Also my temps stay high while spotting. I started taking ovcon 50, a BCP last month just to end the dang spotting. In return I'm also taking st john's wort which decreases the pill's effectiveness. I know it works b/c now I spot only once or twice a day. I've had this problem since my 1st AF after the D&C on march 2nd (took 9 weeks for AF). It's ashame I have to take the pill while TTC. But, I did conceive my DD accidently while on the pill and taking st john's wort.
Now, my periods are irregular, light spotting between periods, and my last period has been going on for 8 days now, seems about to stop, then I bleed bright red again. The bleeding is not heavy, just constant spotting. I saw my GYN about 6 months ago, and my pap smear and exam were normal. Should I be concerned, or is this perhaps perimenopause? Thank you.
February the 7th came and the cycle was brown, but full, “no spotting”, the 8th brown spotting, the 9th spotting, 10 gone? Implantation bleeding maybe 2? how long/soon does this happen if it was/is implantation bleeding 3? I don’t believe in drugs so I don’t take medications/ birth control pills, nor do I smoke or drink. I’m not strict on my diet but I have an ok one. I am healthy and my family has no trace or any cancer.
Can someone please tell me how long does it take to get normal periods. We are also trying to make babies. But stopped because of thyroid. I wonder when will i get my periods.
I noticed spotting between periods and odor along with mild itching. I brushed it off as the BV reoccuring,so I used the remainder of the cream I used in September. By February, the spotting was very heavy and the odor was very noticeable. I also started having pelvic pains. I went to the doctor Feb 9, and discovered by cervix was bleeding. A culture was taken and I was diagnosed with chlamydia.
Hi, I'm 25 and I have posted one other time on this board. I was wondering how long it takes to get your period after you come off of depo? I have been off of it for almost a month and I have had no signs of a cycle. This is my second time using depo and the first time I came off of depo I had my period within 3 weeks. This time nothing. What should I expect? If its not the same as last time.
I am still spotting and it's been 16 days now... is that normal? Another issue is that I have never been that regular and have long periods so it's hard to gauge when to try. I just turned 30 and really want a baby too Natalie (and anyone else out there) so I know how hard it can be sometimes. Especially when friends and family (and even strangers) around you are falling pregnant and having healthy babies.
i was on depo shot for 10 years my last shot was oct 08 it took me a year to get my period back first one was 2weeks straight and i have had a period since then but before depo my period was 7 days long after depo my periods are only 4 days long i have been on clomid and provera i just tired of taking meds so i stopped trying to get pregnate i figure if it happens it happens
We are ttc and used one of those digital ovulation tests (which is how I got preg last time), but doc said with an irregular cycle they do not work. I too have spent a fortune on preg tests - all negative. I called doc and they saw me, did a pelvic and said I was fine. They said that getting my period in 22/23 days is considered an irregular cycle, just like being late now, it is still consistent with an irregular cycle.
sounds like you may have seen it already. A gal on the cyst forum started it last year.. It has gotten very long, but we don't want shorten it since there is such a wealth of information on there . I think so much is an individual thing.. I also think a lot depends on one's general health before the procedure, and the "mental" outlook.
Not trying to scare you, I just know that a few of them do cause bleeding/spotting in between your periods. The reason I say that it doesn't sound like pregnancy is because you say you had sex on Jan 1? and you are due to have your period in 2 weeks. Assuming that you are on a 28 day cycle, you should be ovulating right about now. And also you had a blood test done, and that was negative.
do you have any pregnancy sym. and have you been spotting before your period and how late are you i would say wait a few more days and retest it might be to early to tell. goodluck if you want to be pregnant.
I have this problem too and have not gotten a really good answer. DH & I have been TTC since July. I had spotting for 6 days in July & on then AF finally showed up. last month I only had it for 3 days, but now I'm on my 4th day of spotting with this cycle and AF should be here tomorrow. It makes me crazy b/c I'm pretty sure this is a new thing in my cycle. I may have spotted like this in June, but wasn't paying as much attention then.
