a few weeks ago and I was surprised at how receptive and interested he was when I told him, I am taking Milk Thistle for my Liver and plan to start Gluconutrients for my immune system.
Visit to the ER produced no major results. How long is considered reasonable for stomach distress to go on after being treated for Giardia with Flagyl? Why do test results take so long for this? I still do not have the results.
I know that this is just the tip of the iceberg on what to expect on my long road to being clean. The questions I have are, how long will the urge to take a pill or two last? Does it ever really go away?
Believe me, if I were perfectly healthy, I wouldnt take most of what I take now, I'd take a good multi w/out iron and maybe one or two other things, whey protein and glucosamine&chondrointin&MSM and leave it at that. And of course I'd veggie juice, ha! Admittedly, some of this is because I'm vain, I like looking younger than my age, there I said it.
Some of the suggestions for herbal stuff may help and do as Annie suggested and go for the non-alcoholic beer, pumping and dumping is pointless, it is a matter of time before the alcohol leaves the system, not the amount of milk expressed. You could pump and dump twice in 30 minutes, but it takes an hour or so to actually get out of your system enough to safely feed. Dump the pump and the formula if possible and nurse your baby as often as possible.
How's it feel to buy seatbelt extenders? Or how does it feel to not fit into typical chairs? How does it feel to get out of the shower and look at your fat self in the mirror? Does it feel AS GOOD as eating that pizza and soda? Loser.
I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on him and watch and see how he acts. I'm wondering if certain foods give him a belly ache like milk, maybe? He does drink a lot of milk. It's so hard to tell at this age!
Anyway my question is I took methadon for 2 days because I couldn't find any tabs and was sick (a total of 40 mgs) but this not a drug I have taken before then. How is this going to affect taking the suboxone treatments? How long will I have to wait before it is safe to take or will they even let me have the suboxine?
When can I expect the withdrawals to end and how long does it take to get back to my normal self with no effects whatsoever of the Fentanyl? I seriously need help!
I also was taking supplements to help counteract APAP's effects, but apparenty did not help or maybe I would have been in very bad shape today if I did not take these supplements. I was taking N-Acetyl'Cysteine and Milk Thistle to improve liver function. Alcohol (moderately) and a high fat diet also slows the livers metabolising of APAP. Today I do not eat red meat or any food high in saturated fats.
Of course, it would depend on a lot, such as how much your daughter was taking and for how long. The oxycontin is probably not going to hurt, but everyone is different, and the crack I wouldn't think would be good either. But since your grandson is no longer getting the xanax from your daughters milk then that could cause him to go into serious withdrawals and havew seizures, so please taker him to the dr. I wouldn't worry about the weight, my daughter is 22 months and 29 lbs.
Your freshly detoxed, trying to get your bearings, dealing with emotions that have been numbed up for a long time and working! This is going to take time to feel ok and your going to endure some really rough patches for a bit. What are you doing for aftercare? You really need to get into some kind of recovery program if you haven't already. Get to a meeting asap and you will leave that meeting feeling empowered and it will help put it all into perspective. I hope you continue to post.
I have a mostly desk type job, and plan to be off work 3 weeks. What I don't know is how do I take care of myself at home. My husband can be home with me as long as necessary. How is the best way to sleep? I understand I will have trouble swallowing for weeks or months but will that be due to pain or swelling in my neck? If you are home resting in a recliner and watching tv, can you take off the front part of the collar as long as you aren't up and walking around?
I am thinking the oxy should be out of your system but I am not sure since my doc was lortab. To anyone, how long does it take oxy to get out of your system? I know the withdrawal's are harder but isn't it the same amount of time?
For people who drink alcohol I think it may affect their liver. For anyone who takes pain meds long term they need to have their livers checked periodically. My biggest negative effect is that I am tied into this town because I have a great doctor, he was my GP long before a surgeon got me dependent on this stuff, but I can't move anywhere because I would never find another doctor who trusts me the same way.
is detoxing the WHOLE process or is it only the time it takes for the pills to leave your body? I do have to say I feel better today than yesterday...but I hate jinxing myself...the day is still young and I know those feelings can change in the blink of an eye. I think the Percocet is getting out of me anyway, I wasn't on a high dose those last few days so there wasn't a whole lot in my system. I'm just praying that tomorrow is better...and that's what I do every day....
I did read that lemon juice or any citris juice helps cleanse the liver, so I was planning to try to drink some of that to see how it does (but not very much). Also, I would not try to drink all that olive oil, it sounds like it could be dangerous. I am avoiding any hydrogenated fat, and would recommend you do also (read the labels). I'm only eating chicken or turkey or fish right now (broiled or grilled) and avoid all butter, etc.
- sore throat - increased nasal drainage and nasal drip in the back of my throat - sometimes slight eye swelling - slight cough I always kind of said oh it's just allergies from pollen or I am catching a cold... but in fact when I do not consume coffee, I am back to normal in about 3 days. I tried to find some information on this but it seems hard to read up on. Would be great if anyone had any feedback on this. Thanks so much.
which is good for me because all my life i suffer from constipation and eating alot. how long does it take to lose weight with this product all I want to loose is 15lbs.
has anyone else had a dry cough to deal with? and how long did it take to cease post treatment?
Just tired of being tired? You're not alone. And let's not talk about the constipation. How about that brain fog? Yep, sure does mess up your head down to your toes. I've tried different time slots for taking my meds. The best is at 7:00 am for me. It allows me to eat a few hours later without getting sick. I just can't eat that early. And if you feel like you're going crazy, forgetting things, well....just the icing on the cake.
Many years and millions of research dollars later, our only remaining pharmaceutical arm in the fight against obesity is orlistat (Xenical), with the convenient side effects of bloating, stomach upset, and the need to have a public restroom app on your iPhone in case of emergencies. So what’s a health care system to do? On one hand, you might argue that Big Pharma has failed us in the obesity space. So should they throw in the towel?
Using DNA testing dating back to four generations (dead and alive) 40 Percent of four generations of men within a given family had at least one child that was not theirs. DNA does not lie....and the woman are obviously not pleased. Take it from a man who has had sexual relationships with over 40 women multiple times by the age of 20. All with a 6 incher! Oh, instead of worrying about if HGH increases your penis size (three friends say yes..1/2 inch, 1inch and 1.5 inch respectably.
I started using the primal defense acording to the directions. It was within a week that I noticed a difference in how I felt. How long to see changes? I took several weeks to really see major improvements. I stopped taking it for a few days because I thought I was in a remission and didn't need them but ........wrong! I started getting real sick and sensitive again so I went back on them and by the next day I was feeling much better and I have stayed on them ever since.
One drink to them is like two to us because it takes longer to leave our systems. And you have to factor in hormonal issues for many women as well. As has been pointed out here over and over, our own lifestyles may play a part in our overall opinions of these matters...I'm going out on a limb here...but I'd almost bet that your doc likes to tip a few himself. This is not unheard of in the medical profession, not by any means.
May not work for everyone like that. But in the long run that is how IBS or NOT people can prevent this awful feeling and get some beauty sleep!!!
The 2nd gentleman I spoke with said that they're nonsense, plain and simple. Protein is protein, taking individual aminos is a joke. That was the core of his opinion, anyway. The third gentleman told me that a person should "Never, ever take amino acids in supplement form." It was a fairly stern warning. Therefore, I've held off on taking any of them for my own medical condition.
NITRATES, soy protein, whey, just to name a few, ALL ADDITIVES to make food last longer. That is why you should eat FRESH FOOD, and really cut back on the protein. MILk, cheese, red meat, and soy. Read the labels on what you buy. Did you know that doritos are moslty just made out of preservatives? and TRIScuits, which you would think are healthy are full of MSG..As well as flavored rice a roni, hamburger helper mix, and the list goes on and on and on...
During the first weeks blood work should ideally be done weekly. Your husband needs nutrition. He has to eat ! It doesn't matter how long or how hard it is for him to get it down, he needs nutrition. If he refuses soft food like oatmeal or soup how about fruit smoothies ? You can add whole raw eggs for protein and flax seed meal for fat to the smoothies. Give him carrot juice. During my first time doing tx, I lived on oatmeal and potato pancakes, fruit smoothies and juiced veggies.
