I didnt' want to eat! How long does it all take to get off this stuff? It is hard to keep weight on. Does anyone else have this problem? Still have the back pain..what else can I take? Any adive anyone can give me I'd appreciate it. God bless.
I don't know anything about the fellow on TV, I just know, that for me, the product does work and is worth what I am paying for it. I have often been to the health food store to price the ingredients. I didn't see the savings in buying the ingredients separately. Besides, why would I want to take 7 or 8 more pills when I am already taking 13 without the FlexProtex. No, I do not work for the company nor do I intend to. I just like them and their product.
My left knee is going to need to be replaced but I'm holding off as long as possible. Back to the Celebrex, it really isn't working for me at all. Can't figure it out with all the great reviews it receives. I'm in bed all day with pain some days worse than others. I will be seeing a rheumatologist to see what the next step is. Do you or does anyone else know of a med other than an NSAID that would relieve the pain?
SINCE THE BACK PAIN IS THE VERY WORST PART OF MY LIFE AND DRIVING ME TO USE NARCS, advil and nsaid's don't work for me...................IS THIS A SYMPTOM AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GO AWAY??? i'VE HAD IT NOW FOR 14 DAYS AND TAKE 1-3 nORCO A DAY WITH A PLANNED TAPER TO 1 NORCO A DAY THEN NONE. I AM SO SCARED ABOUT THE WD'S with the back pain. THE BRAIN **** AND BACK PAIN WHICH I CAN'T HANDLE. I RUN A 20 MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY AND HAVE 2 YOUNG KIDS. I DON'T WANT TO BE ON NARC MY WHOLE LIFE.
you know you are right about ole aleve,i experiment so much with nsaids and the norcos i sometimes forget about aleve.i used to take bextra til they took it off the market...it takes a while for aleve to kick in i found and that is where the narcotics come into play.they work quick, but they fall off pretty quick on me..so, i will have to keep tweeking it and see what i can come up with..
If you are concerned about the tylenol, you could take pure oxycodone IR as JayBay recommended or some other immediate release opioid formulation. It took awhile for the pain relief to become more constant after starting morphine as it does take some time to build up in your system. But as others mentioned, you may not metabolize morphine well and in that case you will not reach that steady state of pain relief.
since I am not on Remicade, I as able to obtain some Mobic. for some reason, Mobic does not seem to work the way it did before, some days when I take mobic, it works like a Charm, but some days I am in extreme pain. I also purchase some over the counter arthritis pain relief medicine, but I'm not taken much of it. the question I have is why does medicine work will one day and other days, it does not work at all? Thank you very much.
First, I was prescribed this med and then I found other ways to get it. Knowbody knows I take it as much as I do. Anyone....have some advice?
How long until I start to feel better? I am off of work for a week (I planned this to coincide with my vacation). I would have gone into a detox or something but I have no one to take care of my house, etc.
I'm just glad you've gotten on something that is long acting. I've used it and it does work. I'm on the avinza. The ups and downs for chronic or even just long term pain aren't good. When you're always trying to get on top of the pain, it makes it hard to control. I wanted to second the advice concerning meds for breakthrough pain. See if your doctor would prescribe a narcotic without any other ingredient. Oxycodone comes that way.
How long has it been since you last took methadone? Due to methadone's long action, withdrawals could hold off for a few days. It depends on how much you were taking.
That's why I don't provide information on how to obtain it. Ever. In fact I signed up to sites where people were self medicating with it and told them not to. As for the idea that glycine as an adjunct is being used in a Phase II FDA study that's a fact. And that the glutamate antagonists are overall are a more effacacious agent. That's a fact as well. People will have to wait. But the link to either study is factual. Tardive psychosis is a criteria that's been identified in me.
it is sooooooooooooooooo normal to get to a point in w/d to hope that by taking a "smidgen" of a narcotic will help take the edge off... and it will, for a minute... but if at all possible try and hang in there and don't do it... it only helps for a minute, and then you still have to get through the bad part all over again i.e. just delaying the inevitable... i know it is hard, it is, but there is no way "around" it just "through" it...
I have been on neurontin then switched to lyrica. It helps take the edge off so that it is dealable, well most of the time. I also have muscle relaxers I take for the spasms. I have had the pain going on for 2 years now, I would like to say that you get use to it, but you really don't. Well you get use to the achy feeling but the burning is the hardest part to deal with. Nothing like feeling like you are on fire.
I would really like to know when i will fully be myself again energy and all how long does it take for the subs to get out of your system i know they have a long half life. Also i cant go to the doc as i really dont have any $$$$$ or insurance so any advice will help...
I need to understand what he is feeling and how to help him. Thank you and best wishes to all. It is hard to watch my son moan and groan in his sleep night after night, I can't imagine how everyone here feels as well.
I do believe in Fibromyalgia, I've read so much about it over the course of the weekend and especially today, but how could something so simple be missed for SO many friggen years? My history is so long that I can't even put it all here, you would all get bored with my post then LOL! ;) I have been tested for Carpal Tunnel 3x, normal. I have had tingling/numbness of hands/fingers for years and years, but not all the time.
Maybe you can talk yo your DR about having the surgery an how to gett WC to cover it(not sure how it works when it comes to surgical procedures) or whether your insurance can cover it without being dropped from the WC case. If understand correctly you saod your insurance will cover it? I hope you can get the treatments you need whatever they may be. Keep trying.
Now, I have researched a bit about the drug, checking the insert and also several websites, such as Drugs.com, and all of them say not to take the medication for longer then 5 consecutive days and that it is not indicated for the treatment of chronic pain. I am worried of the side effects and the specific warning of the 5 day maximum.
Be sure you have a comfortable recliner to sleep in. You will need it for about 1-2 months. DO NOT try to sleep in your bed. You will need someone with you at all times for the firs 48 hrs. If you are married or living with someone make sure they have plenty of finger foods for you to eat while they are gone. You will experience numbness in your fingers. Dont worry.. thats normal. You will noticed your bicep knotting up, hard and it will be sore. This is normal.
She also gave me something for the anxiety to help me through this. She said it may take 30 days for me to get back to normal because I was on them for so long. She was very proud of me coming to her and dealing with my issue. I am so fatigued and can barely move. I am off of work the rest of the week. I can not deal with noise or people right now. My husband and I got into a HUGE fight last night and I just wanted to die.
i am sick and tired of being sick and tired and in Pain. These drug companies need to be more aware before they put these meds out for us to take. We are not there Guinea Pigs. I am so mad. i was married in May 2006 and because of this medicine I am on the verge of losing my marriage. This is not right and we should all do something about it.
That being said, if you are exercising 45 minutes per day with no chest pain during exercise, there is almost no chance that this is ischemic (lack of blood flow to the heart) chest pain. Plaquenil and celebrex are not known to cause chset pain by themselves, but as you have read, celebrex does increase your risk of cardiovascular events. That is when you have to decide if the slight increase is cardiac events is counterbalanced by your improved lifestyle with decreased RA pain.
Dentistry has traditionally been a profession guided largely by mechanical concept. It does not have to that way anymore. It is time for the profession to recognize that occlusion and jaw function are governed by physiological processes and diagnose and treat them accordingly.
I have been taking Klonopin for over 4 years and I only loose weight, maybe because I am not eating right. It used to work and now it does not work, I might be maybe too stressed lately so maybe that's why. I just wanted to know, what should I do to stop this panic attacks everyday, it is killing me and sometimes I have to rely on alcohol to get rid of it.
my pdoc explained that while alcohal doesn't interact negatively with Lithium, it does dilute it, so it does affect your levels. He said that drinking a little is ok, but remember that alcohal is dehydrating, which is also dangerous when you're on Lithium. If you can, avoid it as much as possible. A little won't hurt you but don't make a habit of it. And don't use it as medicine (self-medicate).
When nurses and other staff praise a doctor to the skies, it pays to pay attention. I really think it's time for you to take a serious look at surgery. At the very least it wouldn't hurt to have another MRI and see why your pain got significantly and suddenly worse. Obviously some changes have taken place and you don't want to let a possible cure pass you by until it's too late.
I'm curious as to how it was determined your RA was caused by HCV. Unfortunately, autoimmune diseases like RA can sometimes be made worse by IFN. Only time will tell whether things get better post-tx. Hopefully you'll be one of those who feel better after you clear the virus.
I did not have these issues before tx, the odds that I developed all these things while on tx 'naturally' are pretty small, yet still I get all negative replies when I suggest that (to a Dr.) It is the risk we all take upon treating, we need to be there for anyone that does get the down side of these risk post.
