Common Questions and Answers about How long does flexeril stay in your system

flexeril

When will they make that magic pill and we all wake up pain free and STAY that way. So far as it being in your head, that really doesn't seem to matter in my mind. Whether it's perception of pain because of faulty receptors or actual pain, I still hurt. If I don't think I can breathe, I can't breathe! Doctors, UGH. Good luck MamaAng.
I have now been off for a month or more and my diarrhea and anxiety and sweating are still plaguing me on an all-day long basis. This is a dangerous drug that stays in your body for a long time. It should not be prescribed as a "safe, non-addictive solution for pain" As it stands, I don't know when, or if, I will ever be well again...
to answer this thread a little thig i wrote while i was in and out of a 8 year run trying to get clean tis a tad dark looking back, no less true i run to stay alive how far will i run, as long as the illussion continues how far ? as long as! how far? as long as! one is space one is time these are part of reality! our mission is to transcend apperents, ito the relm of the spititual,. staring, realizing once agian i have mistaking vainity for truth. thus the mission is far from reality.
The time it takes to get over the w/d's are different for everybody. The days were ok for me too, nights were horrible couldn't sleep more than 20 minutes every few hours. This last about a month for me. My sleep finally got back to normal after a few months. but like I said it's different for everybody.
Your winning a long battle, and the more victories the easier the war gets. Think of how you feel now, how your head is starting to feel again, how you wake with a clear head, how things feel now compared to using in your life. It's not easy, that's why we (and you are hear.) But remember, no matter what, go easy on yourself. You seem like your going to win, win soon, and keep on winning! If you do stumble, get back up and fight on.
the only thing i can tell u is staying busy and out of truble is the only way to stay clean. theres no miracle drug. im curious how long for some of u before the depression nervousness go away? also heard the mental cravings never go away is this true?

I am having a hard time stopping and I know I need to . I have taken this for a long time. First, I was prescribed this med and then I found other ways to get it. Knowbody knows I take it as much as I do. Anyone....have some advice?
Your doctor won’t tell you the long term effects of what you are taking because he probably doesn’t know or is unwilling to make an educated guess. I was on 400 mg of Tramadol a day (among other drugs that I sometimes took with the Tramadol) for 5 years and monitored myself in various ways. Using a digital home BP kit to monitor my BP I worked out that it would rise to roughly 160/100 about 2 hours after taking the Tramadol and then gradually drop back to at best borderline high BP of 140/90.
and if so, by how often and how much? 2. does your spouse/significant other get involved with your pain meds meaning does he/she have access and monitor them to make sure they are not low? Our relationship is suffering because it always turns out the same - she will keep her med bottles in the drawer, I count them to see if she has enough until refills, and most of the time, she is short (last month for example, she was short 14 pills when I counted).
That means a lot of people truly ill with Lyme are excluded by CDC standards.) IgM results test for the antibodies your immune system makes shortly after infection; IgG antibodies are made after a period of time when the IgM reaction is fading. There is no specific time cut off on which one fades and the other leaps up. The 'double starred' (**) bands are the ones most important to a Lyme diagnosis.
hun, your almost there...your doctor DID lie to you...i have heard people who expect to have NO withdrawals at all according to their doctors, thus the horror stories begin, it is so very important to educate ourselves about anything we put into our bodies..i already learned MY lesson with methadone and what a nightmare i caused for myself because i didnt take the responsibility to educate myself about it. but it does end and your almost there...it does not last forever..
It wasn't until working through 3 pdocs that I found one who came up with a cocktail that finally took my depression AWAY. Not just better, but GONE. I don't know how long it will stay like this, but I plan on making the most of it. And if it ever stops, I'll sure be aggresive about finding a treatment that works. All of us have our own unique brain chemistry, and what works for one may not for another. If you're not getting relief from what you are on, TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR.
it depends how long you were taking these pills on how long and intense your w/ds will be....... I can't because of my job........... I can't because of my kids...... I can't because........... I can'b because.................. I've been there make a plan use the weekend and maybe an extra day off at work......... get someone to watch the kids and lock yourself away for three days these will be the toughest days.............
how long does it take for all or most of the symptoms to go away? Thank you so much in advance!
Does having the injction cause your pain to worsen for a while afterwards? If so, how long did it worsen the pain for you after your injections? I'm asking because we're moving hopefully on the 5th to our new house and Im hoping to at least be able to help a lil . THANK YOU again!
My neck is now long, as before any surgery and the scar is almost unnoticeable. THE COLLAR WILL ALLOW YOUR LOVELY NECK TO STAY LONG AND SLIM SO WEAR IT EVEN IF IT IS 100 DEGREES OUTSIDE! I wore a hard collar for 3 months and a soft collar for 1 and 1/2 months but sleeping in a hard collar all 4 and 1/2 months. 6 weeks after surgery I had physical therapy for 4 months!
If you take it along with other meds-the other meds will not be aborbed correctely into your system, like you won't get the true effects. Have you tried positive feedback or hypnosis for the pain. Try positive thinking and speaking. Yoga breathing exercises. Physical therapy, swim less in a heated pool. Stationary bike slowly for five minutes to restart a new ecercise program. You won't be happy with harder drugs, most pain killers don't even work on fibro type pain believe it or not.
That's serious pain medication. I use Darvocet and Flexeril as needed. So far, that is managing my pain. How often were you taking the Lortab and Oxycontin? It may take a bit to adjust to meds that are not as strong. What meds are you taking to manage your RA?
I can't do my job and am having anxiety that struggling like I am that it will cause me to lose it. My husband doesn't know how bad I feel. His stepfather is in late stage bone cancer and they expect him to pass today. He also doesn't understand and will just tell me to exercise and that it is all in my head. The depression meds are not helping me much. My family doctor is away this week so can't see him to look into any additional meds to help the situation.
I've been diagnosised with Giant Cell Arteritis. Does anyone have this? I have not been able to get a biopsy but the doctors have put me on prednisone since April. I thought it was gone and then it started again. Sometimes my head is so sore all I can do is hold it and cry and pray. I have arthritis in my jaw and cheek bones and migranes, which makes it difficult to know exactly what is causing the head pain on any given day.
and how many neurotin should I take at a time to help with the withdrawl??! and how many is unsafe to take?! and I also have flexeril? how many of those are safe to take to help with the withdrawls?!
Patients who are prescribed long-term prescription painkiller treatment programs should be cautious of opioid-induced hyperalgesia. Opioid-induced hyperalgesia is a condition where the increased use of opiates, like Oxycontin and hydrocodone, heightens one's sensitivity to discomfort and reduces their tolerance for pain.
In the 4 days I've been off I've been taking L-tyrosine,potassium,zinc,magnesium,vitamin b6, and a one a day vitamin. This is the 4th day and I still feel so bad. How long does this last and is there something else I can be doing? The way I feel makes me want to take more norco because I know I would feel better if I did, but I know that's not the way to solve it but I feel horrible.
Day 33 Tramadol Cold Turkey Withdrawal; Immune System Breakdown ... I guess when the cat is away, the mice they will play. Last night I was alone in the house and steadily starting to believe I had a cold in the nose starting. Got rapidly worse. Searched for the Z-Pac, found the Z-Pac. Took the first dose. Woke up this morning thinking OMG I am so tired. But I didn't feel the "I feel like crawling in a hole and dying" thing. Progress!!

If I get off the drugs I can no longer make that Benz payment for them... Who knows with how screwed up the system is.... Anyways, I live close to the Mexican border and went and picked up the necessary drugs for the Thomas recipe and am going to face the BULL come this Sunday.... I am scared and called my primary doc back yesterday and threatened complaining to the board if he didn't contact me so I can talk with him about all this and make sure I am doing this right!!!!
