I am feeling kind of sad and depressed and having a hard time dealing with all of this and the kids. Is that normal? Did any of you experience depression? How long did it last? Thanks again, like I said, it is nice to know someone cares!

Can someone answer this. How long does hydrocodine show up in your system for a drug test. I take this drug for the pain I get with Lymes Disease. I'm starting a new job and they will ask for a drug test. How soon do I need to get off of them so it don't show up on my test. Thanks.

I am currently on 3 medications, Depakote and Lithium for my BP and Zopiclone to aid sleep. I realise this is a very basic poll as it does not show how many different types of mental health problems are being experienced but depending on the response this could lead to a further poll about diagnosis etc.
Do not stop using tramadol suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, sweating, nausea, diarrhea, tremors, chills, hallucinations, trouble sleeping, or breathing problems. Talk to your doctor about how to avoid withdrawal symptoms when stopping the medication. Do not crush the tramadol tablet. This medicine is for oral (by mouth) use only. Powder from a crushed tablet should not be inhaled or diluted with liquid and injected into the body.

I wish I could do it everyday but money is a deciding factor. My son has 4 herniated lumbar disc. As long as he gets his adjustments he does good but if he misses them for a while he starts having problems again. It took me a while to find a Chiropractor that could help me. I used to think it was a joke. They want to keep you coming back so they can get your money but I can truly say I have found some relief.
How does this compare to soma 350, Which I use to take and found them to be addicting and dangerous. I stopped taking them when I suffered a blackout. Soma has an old tranquilizer in it called Miltown which if you look up is highly addicting. When combined with hydrocodone creates an intense high. Thats all in the past since I went to a real pain management.
Opening my eyes usually helps but sometimes it's so uncomfortable the only thing I can do is look side to side and then they go back to normal. Sometimes this can last as long as 5-30 minutes. I just close my eyes and keep moving them back and forth every 10 seconds or so. What could be the cause of this and should I be concerned? Both my doctor and my eye doctor said they've never heard of this before and laughed it off.
Some people have many health issues and have to take meds for each ailment. Looking at your list does not shock me. The only thing that does concern me is the Tramadol and Hydrocodone. I have done some research on these meds and they don't seem to go together too well. Tramadol is an agonist/antogonist type of medication and can cancel out the effects of the Hydrocodone. If someone is on Hydrocodone and is dependent on it and takes Tramadol it can cause withdrawal.
The only thing that helps is putting my head under a hot faucet, sounds silly I know, but it does ease the pain. Does anyone have any advice or insight as to what this might be or how I can manage the problem myself? Thank you so very much for your time!
but i have a question since i gave decided to quit taking hydrocodone after year long rollercoaster of dependence. the last time i quit i had stomach pain, anxiety, insomnia, and even paranoid dillusions. but that was from going cold turkey from 5 10,s a day now im down to 3 of the 7.5s a day and im ready to quit. my question is will Tramadol, Cyclobenzaprine, Carisoprodol, or Lorazopam (ativan) or a combo work to keep me from having the withdrawls as i have a good supply of those?
I get really depressed when I'm alone. I hope everyone is doing well. I did slip last night (after getting really pissed off at my husband) and took two flexril. At least I didn't go for the vics or perc. I am really looking forward to the day I can look back on all this and say "boy am I glad all that's over." For now, I'll keep taking it hour by hour, day by day.
Just wondering if any of you have similar problems. If so, what do you take and how much does it help? At least I have what seems to be a good pain management doctor that listens to me and isn't afraid to try something new. Thanks for reading all of this.
LOL I appreciate that it is going to take time for my body to relearn how to manage pain on its own. If you also deal with chronic pain and have quit opiates, how long did it take for you before you felt that your body was doing its' normal thing, and how did you evaluate that? I know that I'm only on Day 6, but my back's been pretty bad. Not w/d aches, but sharp, stabbing pain through my lower back and hips.
Have been taking calcium/mag for long long time - a big thank you to gnarly for telling me about this long time ago when I first started to taper. Cough medicine which doesn't seem to do much. What do you all think????? should I jump now???? should I taper down to 1 or 2mg. I am really not sure if I am just prolonging the inevetable. Input and advice would be SO helpful.
If you are down to a quarter, I can't imagine that you are feeling that bad. But, I will guess that 4 months is a long time to be on it for some. Have you spoken with your doctor about this? It may be something else. What does he/she say??
I cried and cryed durning WD I was going to leave my husband it is temporary it does NOT last Going to the doctor will speed the process up .we are here for you .
bipolar 2 disorder, obesity, hypertension, fibromyalgia, and chronic Lofgren's Syndrome (erythema nodosum and polyarthraligia on and off for the last 10+ yrs). I frequently complained of back pain to my primary care physician, and was advised to lose weight to aleviate pain and try to get off the advil. At least twice a year, I would get erythema nodosum, for which prednisone was rx'd.
I am feeling better but really guys...Does anyone else have chest pain that lasts up to 3 hours? I do. last time I dealt with this for 2 months before going back to smoking. Smoking also brought my anxiety level down quick and even tho I have increased the anxiety meds I'm on, I still get that anxiety tingle and painful muscle cramps when I crave. Is there anyone out there that knows what I mean and have any advice for me? Please dont tell me to go to whyquit.com.
