I want to wake up every morning and that not be the first thing I think of. So here goes my question how long does the leg pain last going through W/D? How long will my energy level be zapped? I feel like even walking a short distance is a struggle. thanks for any advice you can give me.
Can someone answer this. How long does hydrocodine show up in your system for a drug test. I take this drug for the pain I get with Lymes Disease. I'm starting a new job and they will ask for a drug test. How soon do I need to get off of them so it don't show up on my test. Thanks.
Sudden cessation of alcohol after drinking that much can be, and very frequently is, fatal. You really should taper down by, say, a couple of ounces a day. I hope you read this before you do real damage to yourself.
Well it took about 5 hours and plenty of water to start feeling better, I figured I am allergic to caffeine or coffee, I am scheduling now an appointment with my doc for food allergies test, can someone tell me how does the food allergie test look like, also advice to people with panic attacks and enxiety it just maybe something as simple as the stupid coffee. thanks.
Odd I stumbled on to this site obviously from a google search how long does vic w/d last and felt compelled to read every post. I am sitting here at the 24 hour mark and its not dreadful but it is pretty bad. I am sure this is just the beginning. I realized the last couple months how I was always running right to the wire for my script this month however I am about 4 days shy. I have exhausted all my options and have been debating going to a urgent care place to get them.
Depends on how much you were taking and for how long...generally the worst is over in 3-4 days. I highly recommend, if you can, see your doctor and ask for clonidine, a blood pressure med that does wonders for withdrawl symptoms and perhaps something for anxiety. I'm on day 11 right now, started on clonodine on day 1 and I never really had a bad time..the med will make you somewhat lethargic and dry mouthed but it does help, as plenty of folks on here will agree.
My question is, did you taper? Also, exactly how long did your withdrawal symptoms last? I feel like this is lasting forever!! I know that it will get better and I will normal again I would just like to know when?? I will fight this demon, I will keep strong.
Is taking 1mg of xanex to help she didn't know she was in trouble, how long would you expect the withdrawral to last would the aleve help.
how long do these withdrawals last if I'm on day 14 and was throwing up today and still feel all those symptons they say happens to you? i stopped cold turkey and i just want to know when all the pain will go away.
How long you feel bad and how bad you feel will likely depend on your level of use prior to quitting. If you went from your highest use to zero it will be worse and longer than if you tapered down to minimal use. Even if it's bad, you should only feel like pure hell for 3 or 4 days and that's really no more than a bad case of the flu. For me, the worst part was the Restless Leg Syndrome (aka RLS) and the general feeling of wanting to crawl out of your skin.
If So how long did the withdrawal symptons last? Because me and my wife have been addicted to pain killers for the past 5 years. We started off abusing the small stuff now we are addicted to Oxy's We both have good jobs and most of our money goes to buying pills. We don't have kids. We want to get off them without the methedone, suboxone, etc. But if theres anybody out there that has quit cold turkey please tell me we have a chance....
Mind you, I also use nicotine to quit smoking, which I think may add to the initial stimulant effect of the coffee. I want so badly to quit since I know how calm and amazing I will feel. My anxiety almost completely dissapears after some time without caffeine, but I haven't been without for longer than two weeks for twelve years, since I started drinking it. But at the same time it's so difficult since it's pretty much a decision I'm forced to make.
Glil - I used to shoot all that stuff long long time ago (over 30 years ago), and yeah - it got me this virus and a whole bunch of my friends this virus, too (but we didn't find out until recently (or - in the last five years or so and long after we had laid that past life style down.) So you had recently acute? Well yeah I guess you did!
My doctor gave me diazipam for help but I have had to increase this medication as needed. No more than 5mg at a time but how long does this withdrawal last. Shouldn't I be getting some results? I get some sleep but last night my legs were doing a dance on me I could not control. That was rough but of course I made it through with the help of the diazipam. When will there be light at the end of the tunnel. I know there has got to be and July 12 will be a month off the fentanyl.
I guess what I really want to know after that long post is how long should I really expect this? Like I over emphasized this is day 8, a Friday. I missed an entire week of work and am expected back on Monday which will be day 11. Will I be up to it? I work in NYC and the commute in is very physically challenging as a 2 mile walk is part of my commute. I know we are all different but could this really be WEEKS like ive read on here? Or Months? Really? Is my doc lying?
I believe that fatigue will be an issue, but does anyone know how long that affect last? Should I expect any physical pain, and if so, what kind and how long? I have been on the stuff for two months, and although my first contact with the stuff was very innocent on my part, the decision to continue taking it was not. I am taking between 300-400 mg per day. Any help out there.
) I like to make a big deal about it, so I go to the store, and get the whole beans, and grind them up there (I need a new coffee bean grinder for my home) and then I use delicious half-and-half, or go one step furthur, and by cream, or heavy whipping cream, and shake it up in the carton, and give my coffee a frothy cream head! I really enjoy this ritual, and always have my coffee with a meal, or in the morning, at least with a big blueberry muffin or coffee cake, so it absorbs the acids.
I have been reading for some time about the importance of drinking ALOT of water while on tx. Well... I drink ALOT of coffee. NOT alot of water. I'm not sure how well I can make the transition. I've never been much of a water drinker and if anything, it's soda water. Does that count? (Maybe a stupid question but I'm asking. Maybe those bubbles have adverse effects?) Can I still have my 4-6 cups of coffee in the morning...and drink water all throughout the day..
Hi Yes there is no easy way out but it does get better some bounce back quick some it takes awhile I feel it is how much, how long, and age. I took the hydo/oxy that lead to a 12yr mthedone plus others. went c/t and it was a experience that I will never forget and it keeps me strong today. I just do not like to see people do the merry-go-round on meds mostly the opiates that u 2 r on. I always found it easy to taper from that...
I've searched the the internet endlessly trying to find anyone who's experienced this symptom for as long as I have to no prevail. Last I did stumble upon a site stating you can give yourself rls permanently from withdrawal, which scares the crap out of me. I was wondering if anyone else had heard or read anything like that before? I'm now on day 38 and while it had decreased some I'm still miserable. I've done all of the suggestions you guys have given me.

I was doing quite well or so I thought and then over the last 5 days I have developed joint pains, tremors, weakness and worst of all increasing anxiety which has got to such a bad point today that I have had to resort to taking 1mg. Is it normal to have delayed withdrawal symptoms like this and how long will they last? It was so bad I had to take one and now I feel like I have taken a huge step backwards.
i have a little diet pepsi in the am to wake me up cuz i'm not a coffee drinker....lol just see how it treats you and go from there....best thing is to drink and eat as healthy as possible. You will feel better soon!! i never thought i would make it to 34 days clean off pills but i did! and this site helped me get there...
this is my first day without taking anything in a few months. i didnt sleep at all last night. how long does no sleep last?
You will honestly not feel like doing much anyway. Opiate withdrawal symptoms usually start 12-24 hours after your last dose. But, the timing of withdrawal symptoms depends upon the drug taken, length of time you’ve been taking it, and how you react to medications. The physical withdrawals usually last 3-7 days, with days 3 and 4 being the worst. Once again, this is all dependent on the person. You can expect these symptoms.
If he needs something, then great. If not, just let him be. How big of a habit did he have? Does he have anything to help with the WD's? I never quite know what to say to people who are in relationships/engaged to people with habits. One side of me wants to help, the other side wants to yell run to you. You seem very committed by the wording of your post, so that's why I'm giving advice. Please, take care of yourself, too.
