So I'm now on DHEA 75mgs a day, this is something you really need to read up about if you think its for you and start low to see how it sits with you, I now take Tribulus, this now backs up my DHEA, I'm now taken Tribulus 2 x 750mgs a day, its a bit like DHEA gives your testosterone and libido a boost, but with no side effects, not that I've had any from DHEA, these I take for 5 days then rest for 2.
Good Luck What is below is a reply I put in to a discussion on side effects to ED drugs. So if he drugs don’t work or work well but with bad side effects, then go the herbal way, and it works, but you need to go the whole way with them and give them a good try, but remember these things take up to 8 weeks to get to full power, so you need to be on an 12 week trial, but just like drugs its a mix and match affair to find the right mix.
I started marking on the calender the dates that we do have sex just out of curiosity to see how long we were going. About a month, and we only have sex because I'll through in a joke/comment or two. But I'm frustrated. He is having wet dreams EVERY NIGHT. ?????? How come he can do it in his sleep but not while he is awake?????? I feel like... tortured, I guess. How can I get him into the mood? You can only be patient for so long...
possible but unlikely and if you were under the influence of beer or whatever it can impair your thinking of how long something was. test at 3 months for a conclusive result. Note...do not wear 2 condoms, they break easier and you found this out. Stick with 1.
Many many people are cured, and this is not an easy thing to go through for anyone, The upside, many are cured and do tolerate the side effects. Doctors tend to give a sugar coated version of treatment. My treating doctor lacks in alot of areas, but he was very thorough in explaining how treatment could effect me. The best thing I ever did was to find this forum and reasearch on my own. There isn't a professional out there than can tell you exactly how you will react.
My husband of 20 yrs. had a nervous breakdown recently, (suicidal) after I got him home from the hospital he confused to me that he had slept with another woman twice (during the past summer) and fooled around with two other women in the past 5 yrs. I had no idea, I thought we had a great marriage. We never fought, have 3 kids and no big issues. He has pledge his love to me and vows he has no idea what happened and will do what ever it takes to make this right with me.
Remeron is known for being an antidepressant that doesn't have many sexual side effects. But everyone reacts differently to these medications. Is is possible that your depression isn't in complete remission? Perhaps you feel "better" but the depression hasn't compeletely lifted? SSRIs are notorious for losing their effectiveness over time. Many people,my husband included, have switched from one to the other.
It actually is a better term because there is a range of ways in which your penis mail fail to live up to expectations, causing embarrassement and disappointment. Very technically, ED is defined as the inability to develop or keep an erection long enough for the desired sex to occur. This might include masturbation, public sex, penetration and oral sex. It really doesn’t matter why the erection is desired – but if you can’t reliably get one when you need one, then you have ED.
Hi Jen, First for me babyoil or olive oil is best for masturbating, and can see how things are coming out of his skin, could be the vaseline is doing it by drying and balling up or it could be a reaction with his drugs, meds can really give some bad side effects to a mans sex life. Look would he like to try some herbs and a hormon, instead of his daily cialis, all natural cheap than cialis, some of the things you may have in your store cupboard already.
Have you had any uncomfortableness/side effects from the Muse? Do you think the minimal dosage is responsible for the lack of side effects? It is encouraging to hear that you can "almost" perform without any assistance. I have thought about acupressure. It was the one thing that had helped my grandfather after a stroke. I appreciate your comments and the great flow of information.
I've seen a doctor and she said that she wasn't really worried, but that she'd check around with counselors to see who deals with psychosexual issues like these and how long the waiting list is. She said that it would probably be several weeks, but that in the mean while she'd like to take me in for bloodtests, but added that she wasn't really excpeting to find anything. Now, I don't have "several weeks".

Flomax (tamsulosin) is a selective alpha blocker used for treating BPH. One of the side effects of this drug is retrograde ejaculation. Normally, the sphincter of the bladder contracts and the ejaculate goes to the urethra. But in retrograde ejaculation the sphincter does not function properly. Once you stop using this drug it’s effect on the sphincter also fades off. I would suggest that you visit your urologist and discuss the above mentioned possibility and follow his advise. Best.
These work to a certain degree, but I got severe side effects, especially from Cialis. And of course they don't do anything for the diminished libido part. I have seen doctors, urologist, endocrinologist, psychologist, sex therapist, acupuncturist, naturopath - so far no diagnosis or treatment. This problem of course is extremely frustrating for me and my wife. She feels hurt and rejected.
When you undergo a procedure, you sign a waver that deals with complications that can be the result of the surgery. Infertility is one of those side effects. Given this it would be unfair to try and sue a doctor for having done a successful surgery. In my case I could have blamed a locum doctor for not sending me back to the surgeon immediately after the hematoma. She waited two days. the blood clot would have been able to be removed in a less comlicated manner then 2 days later.
I changed many Endo at last , the current endo asked me to do more test, which are hormone test, results are below Dec 08 Total Testosterone =235 (241-827) Free Testosterone = 59 (52-99) LH 3.5 (1.5-9.3) FSH 1.6 (1.2-18.1) Prolactin 24 TSH 1.27 (.6-3.5) FT4 1.37 (0.6-1.8) My Endo wanted to MRI to make sure there is no prolactinoma, in MRI it came back with 6mm adenoma . She thinks my testosterone level is low because of high prolactin although it is not significantly high.
I've taken meds for high bp for 25 years and up until about 2 years ago, never really payed attention to the side effects. Now I see one of the most negative side effects is the meds can cause ED, I have switched meds about four times now and I'm to the point where I'll stop taking them if it would help. My Dr just this week put me on Bystolic for high bp, he said the percentage of ED is extremely low and should help me out.
I am a 35 y/o male and am taking meds for my HIV. I have tried cialis and got some side effects. The next ed i was prescribed was viagra. they have given me 25, 50 then 100 mg tabs. i used to be fine with taking half of 100mg and then half of what was left, totaling 75mg. I recently took both halves after months of not using any assistance, and it didn't work at all, until about 36 hours after I took the pill. then I was semi hard, and a cross wind would throw me to attention.

You usually take them two or three days before you plan to be sexually active and, if you wanna big boost, you can take one or two an hour or two before you have sex. You don't wanna take them everyday because some have side effects and your body could, I think, build a tolerance to it if it gets use to being in your system all the time.
However, there may be periods of time when you are so tired that any sex – even alternatives to intercourse – is extremely difficult. I don't want to be dramatic, but when the side effects kick in – if they do – there are times when you barely feel you can lift your arms. As you can imagine, at those times, you aren't going to be the most eager sexual partner. My advice, already mentioned above, is strike while the iron is hot. Often it takes 7-9 weeks for the side effects to kick in.
I am also hoping that it ll improve over time but as years are passing and no improvement making my confidence levels down.May be its due to the side effects of potent drugs which i have used. Their effects are long lasting it seems.Any how my marriage is nearing I must submit my self to a doctor. But in India there are very less doctors who are specialized in mens health and also we feel lot of shy and silence when comes to sexual dysfunction.
In the first two weeks that I started taking it, I experienced erectile dysfunction and low libido, but then I read that with continued use, the side effects go away. So I continued using it, and luckily, the side effects had completely gone away and I used the drug for 3 years with no problems. If anything, my libido was slightly increased using propecia (which is a known side effect in some users).
I only took 10 days worth of the medication and stopped after that because I couldn't deal with the side effects. These side effects did not go away though. Then, one and a half years ago I began waking up to really painful erections in the night. The pain was concentrated mainly towards the tip of my penis. During the same time I noticed that my urine was darker and the sensation in the tip of my penis was virtually gone. I could even put an ice cube on it and feel hardly anything.

I was tested in night time NPT when I reached 80% erections and with caverjet injection I got erection too but Viagra or Cialis dont do much for me. Also, with no desire and energy for sex, erections are ought to be an issue. I have to solve my libidio problem. Can you advise how to check of there are diseases like Celiac Sprue or others in relation to my stomach/intestines/metabolic systems which I should get checked.
I learn about vasectomy and circumcision side effects here in US and was simply depressed for weeks. How doctors can do it to man? THEY EARN A LOT. This doctors are not your friends, THEY ARE ENEMIES. Circumcision decreases sensation dramatically already and then they recommend vasectomy???? My boyfriend had all this procedures done and he told me that his sensation decrease by 30-40 %. Which is sad....
It has been 4 years since I have taken the test or should I just go to a neurologist. Even if I do go to a neurologist how can they heal a nerve? Also when I got the MRI my technologist was an amateur. He didn’t give me an induced shot so I could get an erection. Don’t you think it would be a lot easier to see scar tissue with an erection? Because I’m sure I can definitely feel the scar tissue, but it doesn’t show up on the MRI because i was flaccid.
How do I even begin to work through this? How can I cure myself of these crippling psychological issues? I wish it was physical, but I feel great in every other respect. To be honest, I feel pretty good psychologically too - Everything is absolutely fine in my life - apart from this of course. This problem really is self perpetuating!
You can be sure that when and if he is ever off Effexor that most of the sexual side effects will vaporize. Then again his depression will also manifest again which is a libido killer also. If erection and maintaining one is the problem and he is still interested in sex, then there is always Viagra or Cialis. They won't help with ejaculation, but they will help with the other two issues. He could always swap that Effexor for an antidepressant called Protriptilyne.
