5220368 tn?1367686845 Congrats on 5 days and being able to feel again! The tears are very healing so let yourself cry. It is okay to do that. We numbed our emotions up for so long and we forget we have them. Try and get outside if the sun is shining. It does wonders for our depression. This will ease up too. You are doing great so keep going!
Avatar m tn How long have you been taking it? That will really factor in to how bad the w/ds' are. IMHO 1mg is not a real high dose to jump at.. I did 4mg twice.. I wanted it over with.. Tapering iwth sub takes time.. so if you have the time do it.. but it really depends on how long you have been taking the sub and what strength are you using as Pillguy asked the 2mg or 8mg.. That will make a difference too. Don't worry too much...
Avatar m tn From thoughts of suicide to deep sadness to deep depression. I would love to know how long other people feel it has taken them until these effects lessen. I understand that life is always happening, and it is a strong effect on my emotions, I am just feeling so unstable that it seems like much of it is the drug. I am starting to see a therapist next week so that may help, but after such a long struggle I am wondering if I should just go back on.
Avatar n tn It does getter better and better each day but sleep is still pretty hard and i have 24 days .How many did you take before u cut down this last time ? how long have you been feeling like this? I recommend buying some good vitamins from GNC , i bought tons of vitamins and drank a ton of water and it really helps .
Avatar m tn Symptoms are depression, lack of energy, insomnia, lack of motivation......that kind of thing. Depending on how long you used, they could go on longer. Not what you want to hear, I'm sure! I am still struggling with energy, and I am taking the vitamins and aminos too. It just takes a while! You aren't alone!
Avatar m tn So I only slept for about an hour, and I was sweating the whole time apparently. Now I'm awake, and shivering. This is horrid. Can anyone give me any idea how long I can expect the withdrawal symptoms to last? This is absolutely horrible. I've never experienced anything like it.
4430260 tn?1355099657 Ok another question. My Pysch asked me last week at my appointment how long my last manic episode lasted. I thought back and advised about 1 year. She said that was abnormal and that most rapid cycle. At the time of the appointment I had been manic already for about 3 weeks and almost 4. My depression lasts that long too. The more I think about it, I know I am right except there are mixed episodes in there as well. How long does everyone else last?

Avatar m tn I am feeling kind of sad and depressed and having a hard time dealing with all of this and the kids. Is that normal? Did any of you experience depression? How long did it last? Thanks again, like I said, it is nice to know someone cares!
Avatar f tn t have all the same symptoms, and your w.d will depend on how much you are taking, what you are taking, how long you have been taking it. There are many factors. By Monday, the worst of it should be over. You will be ok to be by yourself on Monday for sure. And each day will get better and better. Good luck with it...stay strong, you can beat it...
Avatar f tn How long will this last do you think? I am hoping the anxiety/restlessness won't go past a week. I haven't been taking them for very long at such a high dose so I am hoping for the best.
Avatar f tn Hi. All your symptoms are exactly what happens during opiate wd. 72 hrs can be the worst of it. Don't fear: you'll probably have all those symptoms for a while and then slowly they will dissipate a little bit. It may take a while to feel better (everyone is different) so don't panic if your symptoms still linger for a few weeks or so. Take immodium for stomach and sudefed (or any of that stuff) for sneezing.
