From the day of my last pill it took 4 day to start spotting and then additional 2 days to have my official AF. I am going to ask my RE to start me on clomid for my next cycle. I am currently doing the OPK, but not sure if it will work (I'm on CD17). Good luck with the medroxyprogesterone pill. I had some horrible cramping, breast tenderness and mood swings. I am trying to concieve. I have been for about 6 years. I finally went to a gyno about this problem. My periods have always been irregular my whole life. I only had about 6 by the age of 17 before I got pregnant w/my son & then just maybe 1 period a year after that. But there was 1 time that I had a period for 3 mo straight and it was very heavy!!! I had to take Loestrin 3 times/day for a week to stop my period & I havent had one since then.

Hi, how are you? I have had one doctor tell me that I did have PCOS and another tell me that I don't...I honestly think that I do. Did they give you a blood HCG before they prescribed the medicine? My experience, I was given medroxyprogesterone to induce my period as well, and I didn't start bleeding until about 2-3 days after finishing the 10 days. However, this is my third time taking it, and I actually started bleeding about 8 days into it this time. So it may differ! It probably wouldn't hurt just to give your doctor a call though, and just tell them it hasn't worked and you feel nauseated.

Oh forgot to mention I am also medroxyprogesterone to induce my period. After my last pill I started to spot 3 days later, but not a regular period until 5-6 days later.

Me and my fiance have been ttc for 3+ years now. I was prescribed medroxyprogesterone 10mg for 10 days. I started taking this medicine on the first of March and had a regular cycle on the 19. I have been on my period for 11 days now. I took Medroxyp Ac 10mg. I was prescribed 5 pills to take 5 days in a row. I took 2 of them 2 days in a row skipped a day and took 2 of them 2 days in a row and didn't take the 5th pill.
