Anyways, does anybody have some exercises or suggestions on how to lose weight at home. I also currently have a broken wrist, so nothing that will affect that. Also, I am not gonna go to any type of gym or anything and I don't really wanna do anything around the neighborhood because there are bad people around.
Avatar f tn I am 25 yrs old, 5'3", apprx. 154 lbs & petite, I have had 1 baby 3 yrs ago. I only gained 15 lbs while pregnant, then quickly lost it then gained almost 20 since then. Yesterday I started a leg-ab-arm 30 min workout. Today I have started dieting by eating most of the same things, just less in calories & portions. If I keep this up, how long will it take to start seeing results or to lose 10 lbs???

I do believe you have to eat 500+ calories though to keep up with what your baby takes from you but it seems to be the most productive way. :) Also, you lose an average on 10-12 lbs once your have the baby. If you aren't able to breastfeed, the next best thing, when your able to workout is to eat healthy, & excercise.
Avatar f tn After baby you can loose weight pretty easy. I've been back to prepregnacy weight w/in 4 months. I've nursed my last 2 babies, nursing helps burn calories. However, if nursing U don't want to diet. Don't take any diet pills. Plus when nursing you really do feel hungry. The best thing to do is eat healthy. Protein, veggies & fruit. Workout, but don't over do it. If U workout too much/hard it will effect Ur milk supply as well as dieting or eating less.

Doctor says that heart is damage internally such that they cannot do angiography or angioplasty. But before few days he had swelling in legs , neck. His stomach is full of excessive fluid & he put on weight to 5kg in 8 months, so as per part of treatment under ICU doctor has removed 4Ltr of fluid from his body..

And if he doesn't I am not going to say anything I am still going to do my workout bc if he wants it he need to do it himself. It never helped me to talk to my husband about his weight. He would get mad and that is a battle I don't want so I am focusing on me.
Avatar f tn Pineapple, mango, watermellon, pear, apple are the things to go for when you want to fill your tummy. I am eating mostly fresh foods. I feel great and am never hungry. If you have something that you feel guilty about, eat pineapple as your first meal the next day. It's working for me and I feel so good that when I have lost the next 8kg, I am going to keep on eating this way but just introduce carbs back.

Post exercise hypoglycemia can be prevented eating carbohydrates low on the glycemic index before your workout can keep your blood sugar to be stable. Avoiding over-training can also prevent post exercise hypoglycemia. Schedule rest days throughout the week and take breaks during a workout to give your body's fuel stores time to recover. Are you drinking enough water before, during and after exercising?

Avatar n tn I wanted to know of anyone goes through this as well. After every workout I spot. Sometimes I get cramps. Most of the time I don't. I hate the spotting but have learned to see it as normal. Is it normal? I'm 22. I would say I'm in good health. I used to jog 4 miles daily. 2 or 4 miles I spot anyway. Does this happen to anyone else?

Avatar f tn Pregnancy is one thought, but if that's not possible, perhaps your blood sugar is too low when you wake up, perhaps you aren't eating enough breakfast before you do your morning athletics... or perhaps you're eating the wrong kind of breakfast. We'd need to know how soon you're starting your activity after you get up; if you're eating breakfast prior to your activity... what and how much you're eating and the time between eating and the activity.
