Have been taking Lexapro 20 mg for about a year and very much improved. Unable to acieve orgasm even with erection. How long does thia side effect last after weaning off Lexapro with doctor's approval???

My pulmomologist gave me ropinirole (Requip) because i have so much movement in my limbs, especially my feet, when I am sleeping and when I am awake too. I was looking up the drug and i found this side effect........ 'Some people using ropinirole have developed a gambling habit. It is not known whether ropinirole actually causes this effect. Talk with your doctor if you believe you have an unusual urge to gamble while you are taking ropinirole.

I have been taken Ropinirole for sometime now and it helps a little. As for sleep,I get very little of.

But as you know what might work great for one patient might not work great for another. But maybe worth a try.

Hi, Not sure about everyone else but I know that for me the restless legs is one of the worst symptoms. I told my doctor that I was struggling and he prescribed me Ropinirole tablets, one to take before bedtime. I took one last night and, fingers crossed, it seemed to work. Most of you are probably aware of this but for those who aren't, it might be worth a try.

I too am on Baclofen, 30mgs. a day, and it does help with the stiffness, and the shudders, ( as I call them) ... Hope this helps, do you have purple skin too??

Have had rls once or twice a month for ten years. Then bam, it's full blown, unreal, can't do this, rls. I don't need to tell you all how it feels... But discribeing it to a small town doctor feels like I'm talking to a book. Short story, I moved to Idaho from California. Seeking the small town, farm, slow pace and American dream of life. I have been taking Ambien for 5 years now and take anywhere from 20-30mg, plus Lamotrigine for Depression, Ropinirole for RLS, and a few others. The Ambien does not work well for me anymore and this past month my insomnia has escalated. In addition to the RLS I have body jolts, hallucinations while I'm falling asleep, and these electrical zapping sensations throughout my body.

My RLS started over 20 years ago and has been really bad for about 15 years. Ropinirole, once I was put on it in 2007, was a Godsend and just about covers it as long as I don't miss a dose (currently 4 x daily starting at 10am) My consultant has now suggested trying Slow Mag (Slow release magnesium) in hopes that I can reduce the number of Ropinirole I have to take to be able to function normally.

does any know if a muscle relaxer would help with leg cramps i hate them so no worry of addiction but during the worst part of the rls whould they help my wife asked her dr.

I am on tablets called Ropinerol they work to a point but the older I get the worse the spasms get. I would like to know if there is anyother treatment or operation that would stop it, as I dread the thourght of having this for the rest of my life, Im female 46 years old, have contemplated ways of causing the lower part of my body to be paralized so I wouldnt suffer any more. I have been to a neurologist and had an MRI of the head and neck and MS blood work from the Mayo, with nothing to explain the buzzing and shaking. Naturally, I have been told that it is probably all in my imagination (NOT!!). I am on low doese of ropinirole for restless leg syndrome and lorazepam at bedtime to help me cope with the claustrophobia of a CPAP mask, and no other regular medication. I am 64 and female and overweight.

So right now I am currently taking ziprasidone 80 mg, chantix 1mg, topamax 50mg 3x day, and ropinirole for side effects 1 mg once a day. I can't believe I actually made it through the night last night. I had some psychosis and was up all night long, but laying and I had the shakes at first but I'm actually proud I made it through the night without popping that pill. Took my medicine this morning and slept for about 5 hours and no psychosis, hallucinations or anything.

So they have in ropinirole (I forgot how to spell it) but 1mg doesn't seem to be working. :( what other meds can I request?

severe shortness of breath and near fainting, severe overwhelming sleepiness that is progressively getting worse, and extreme fatigue regardless of how much I sleep..this isn't normal sleepiness. I am scheduled for a sleep study but truly feel that this isn't a sleep thing but an autonomic system thing... Early on I was diagnosed with primary paradoxical syndrome, but was negative at a later date...

They are suppose to strip my membranes how does that work? Does it hurt.

I have 5 days till my due date and baby doesnt seem to want to come any time soon. The doctor said is I went to 41 weeks they would probably induce me. How exactly does that work? I thought it was just some kind of medicine they gave you through an IV but a friend said something about them sticking a needle up there. Im a little freaked out, could someone please explain it to me?
