rehab

1589929 tn?1310066922 Well anyway, I was wondering if anyone has been into outpatient rehab for this or is they know of any places that have outpatient benzo rehab programs? In patient rehab is just not possible for me now, for one I'm not a drug addict like so many of the sites say about people who are addicted and or dependent on benzos, so I wouldn't be comfortable around people who had like cocaine, heroine addictions etc.
Avatar f tn After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?
Avatar m tn does anyone know how much it cost to goto rehab if udont have ins.? im hooked on percs for almost 2 yrs and want my life back!! i tried to wean down just had no luck and cold turkey didnt work. please help!!
Avatar f tn Thank you. I called the counselor to meet early tonight. I don't think it is healthy that my parents are driving around my house at 2 in the morning standing in my front yard calling me a lowlife and alcoholic. I need to recover for me and I have never had the best relationship with my parents since they don't have any respect for me and take credit for everything good in my life and credit for fixing everything wrong.
Avatar m tn Prior to detoxing off of methadone I really thought I had it all figured out, I would be the one who didnt have to suffer, as Im healthy, young, live a stable life, happy, financially secure, I had all the things going for me that they say needs to be in place prior to detoxing, wrong, it doesnt matter how young, how healthy, or how financially set you are, methadone doesnt care!!!
538894 tn?1630257531 Still using the Ativan since it does curb the emotions and helps me to rest easy, probably going to try today without but we shall see. Outpatient Rehab at 10AM EST so I will report back after that to let you all know how it went. I am not experiencing so much of the emotional rollercoasters that I had been, they are less frequent and I seem to be functioning more around the house.
341953 tn?1209481891 i wanted to know if anyone has ever tried outpatient rehab? my friend i have been talking about, that has been battling herion addiction for awhile, decided he would talk to someone about outpatient rehab. i told them that he really need a inpatient, counsleing type rehab but they can't afford it. has anyone had luck with this kind of rehab, being addicted for awhile? thanks everyone....
7540527 tn?1401187758 I am definitely shooting for that 30 days! I'm having such strong cravings today though and it's a bit overwhelming. I just need to get passionate about my recovery again! Every treatment facility that's an option for me only does outpatient for meth. I don't see how that would be anymore helpful then daily meetings since the outpatient programs are about 3 times a week for several hours each day.
Avatar m tn In my area we have an outpatient rehab center that garauntees success from drug addiction. What ********! These kids are sent to our local N/A mtgs after 3/4 weeks of outpatient therapy and suboxone treatment. After 1 week, no lie, we NEVER see them again. One of these kids was my middle sons friend that i've known for quite awhile...he told me when finished with the program, they take you off the subs and thats where the majority of people go back to their doc.
317822 tn?1223241475 Detox gets you off the drugs safely, and a little of what rehab does. Rehab deals with learning about your addiction and how to live life without drugs. Once you are done with detox, they will help set you up on some continuing aftercare activities. Like an inpatient rehab, or outpatient rehab, a psychiatrist to follow your meds etc. that kind stuff. Hope this helps?
Avatar m tn I know that our area (Louisiana) has an intensive outpatient treatment facility which I really don't know how they do? They claim, you can still go to work, school, family, etc... and not miss a beat! One of my 24 yr old son's friends just went last week, and was banging on my sons door 2 days later. They put him on suboxone. I'm not sure for how long, or what dose, but all of his pains and anxiety went away the second he put that strip in his mouth.
538894 tn?1630257531 If be interested to know how your outpatient treatment goes. If you wouldn't mind letting me know, that'd be great. I have 11 days today off hydrocodone!! Woohoo! Keep it up!
7689249 tn?1408018598 the above post speak the truth that they will give the tools, its when you get home that the work begins. I to went to rehab 6 yrs ago and was clean for a about a year. I am off and on again over and over. Now have been tapering AGAIN. You will be going to a lot of aa meetings there, like sometimes 3 a day. Unlike myself I did not keep up with that when I got home. That is where I think we make our mistakes, like they repeatedly say on here. SO IMPORTANT.
Avatar f tn got a drug charge and the court ordered me to undergo this IOP mental health treatment. Does anyone here have any experience with IOPMHT? What does that entail? Wanted to ask a psych doc but couldn't find a forum for it on this site....if there is one I hope someone will direct me to it.
Avatar f tn The fatty liver diagnosis was enough to scare me sober! I want to live, and I know you do too. This can set the stage for cirrhossis and you don't ever want to go there. Just keep telling yourself that you're doing this because you want to live. The first week is hard. The first month is not real easy either, but it really does get better after that- with each passing week you will see improvement. You have your wake-up call- don't drink anymore.
Avatar m tn And he needs to want to change -- drugs are fun, and he might like them more than he cares about anything else. When they stop being fun, most people stop taking them, those that don't need the drug rehab. If he doesn't participate in his treatment with a commitment to work and get better, he won't. Are you able to talk to him?
Avatar m tn She just finished the 30 day program but did not go to counsling or outpatient program after because we could not afford it after paying for the rehab. She went to a couple of NA meetings though. Its so discouraging that after we went through the rehab process she went back to Heroin and she is lying about it. I think Im going to have to drug test her and go from there.
Avatar f tn I know I'm going to have to go into rehab to come off the Xanax but I'm just curious about what they do to you, give you and how it feels? Is it like a hospital setting or more laid back and relaxed? How long would you have to stay in order to come off a medication like Xanax?
Avatar n tn I have been doing some home rehab, i am unable to afford to go to outpatient rehab. Thank you though i am going to cal the Dr tomorrow.
Avatar m tn DA accepted my previous treatment as acceptable. dropped commercial burglary and after a year of non intensive probation petty theft is being dropped. It is truly amazing how things work out when your clean and sober. Got four months in a couple of days.
Avatar f tn I just got into Renab a couple hours ago. Things are ok. Very interesting though. I'll be glad to get this over with and start outpatient therapy. I see the sub doctor in an hour and a half.
Avatar f tn He is doing about 80 mg a day and I am not sure what he will need in the way of detox and rehab. He wants to do it outpatient. I am not sure where to begin to find resources.
501205 tn?1227345442 Yes, I've watched this movie, but not in rehab or detox. It actually won awards for Best Foreign film, but I agree, not a suitable movie to be shown to such an audience. I, personally, thought it was very well done and got it's message across, unfortunately it's also a true story and the problems continue to this day. I'm so glad that you are getting help. I read some of your other posts and I'm just so happy that you are doing what you're doing, now.
1175931 tn?1263809505 The best is inpatient rehab, second is outpatient rehab...third is some sort or aftercare...NA/AA meetings, therapy, group therapy...go to 90 meetings in 90 days and your life will change.
Avatar n tn What does his doctor say? Benzos are tricky. This sounds a little odd, since you would think most rehab places might even prescribe a benzo to help the anxiety from the opiate WDs. Every time I see something like this, I remember a doctor in Europe who said, "With benzos, there no such thing as tapering too slowly." Keep an eye on him.
10623623 tn?1414292089 What hours does your husband work again? I wish you could do an outpatient program in the evening. I wish your husband supported you better thru this. Are you still staying off the pills? Can you go to therapy every week instead of once a month? Have you tried Smart Recivery on line. Many here have gotten tons of help.
5506662 tn?1369334325 I have 5 days till my due date and baby doesnt seem to want to come any time soon. The doctor said is I went to 41 weeks they would probably induce me. How exactly does that work? I thought it was just some kind of medicine they gave you through an IV but a friend said something about them sticking a needle up there. Im a little freaked out, could someone please explain it to me?
1113973 tn?1258663021 t nearly as pricey as inpatient programs. Many work around your work schedule. You have to look for a rehab with the same gusto that you hunt for pills. This is your recovery, seize it!
