how does invega work

I wanted to know how to loose weight on an antipsychotic like invega sustenna. I have tried fasting I am possibly going to continue it. But I can’t keep workouts consistent.

Well,I'm not on the Invega anymore.Seemed too strong for me.Now I'm on Lamictal,Seroquel,Xanax,and Propranolol.I just had my thyroid tested and I'm borderline Hyperthyroid.I have read that either Bipolar can cause Hyperthyroid,Hyperthyroid can cause Bipolar,or it just plain mimics Bipolar disorder.Now I have to make an appt with an endocrinologist to see what to do about this.Has anyone else heard of this before?

How does one switch from Risperdal Consta (50mg Q2wks) to Invega Sustenna??

is anyone out there to help me deal with withdrawals from invega 3mg...put on as a trial basis, now can't afford the medicine.. and my xanax was stolen last week.... i have none.. i don't abuse my meds.. never had this problem before.. in a bad state now for several days that keeps getting worse by the day...don't wanna look bad to my dr.. he has helped me with my ptsd...so hurt and don't understand what my head is doing.. the medicine was working.

I now have been lowered to 75mg invega sustenna every 4 weeks but still experiencing sexual problems I think my psych will be lowering me to 50mg then if it doesn't work he will try Abilify...

s only 2 options which are Invega and the other one I think is rispidol which she basically said invega converts into that or vise versa so basically they said I'm stuck on this one medication and it's been making me heavily depressed I've been having face twitches and leg jerks towards night time. As well as sensations going through my body everytime something stress related happens or even a muscle twitch could set that off.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

i was on invega for 3 years at 8 mg a day and i was wondering if invega can cause you to gain weight and have blood clots in your legs

but I have read Invega may cause thyroid issues. If this is so, is it reversible once you stop taking Invega? I'm very concerned! Please help.

I was taken from my work...been through years of fear...i will try to contact the company that makes invega...see if they can help me.. i still feel withdrawals...its making me nervous.. i did get the xanax back...i'm not mentally where i was at.. it was better with the mood stabalizer...tried so so many different meds through the years...i have dual disorders, the other is being biploar...

but does not indicate how long it takes to get the drug out of the body nor how long (after discontinued use) the symptoms begin to fade. Has anybody experienced these symptoms?

It is painful and it is a pest. I have medication for the side effect but it does not work as fast as I would like. Does anyone have advice or tips about what I should do about it? If so, that would be a lot of help.

This drug is a revoloutionary drug in that field in that it is a time released capsule of palpharidone wich should never be crushed, chewed, or cut before taking. Unfortunately I didnt know this at the time.

Hi 7 months ago i was given a drug called invega that is time released and i was instructed to cut it n half and take it wich almost killed me. This drug is known for causing arythmias by prolongation of the QT interval. I have since stoped taking the invega. I dont take any drug, not even asprin.

I took my meds after not taking them for a while due to my nerves being up so I lost it emotionally.

As you will know Seroquel is a very calming anti psychotic, whereas Invega is quite agitating, I think by dropping the Invega you will have a lot less side effects ( fingers crossed ) You might feel quite drowsy for a few weeks because of the Seroquel but the extra 50mg he has given you isn't going to be too harsh, my doc usually increases my Seroquel by 100mg. With it being the XR version as well, you will have less drowsiness.

Pressure in front and back of head with and without headache, Acheness, Fatigue that does not get better with rest, Involuntary movements in the arms, hands, and legs, Extreme Sleepiness (Fell asleep in bathtub and almost drowned), Barely feel pain. My friend was hospitalized and put on Zyprexa, Trileptal and Invega over a period of 21 days. Now he's been released but can not afford the drugs so he hasn't taken taken any for 5 days. I started to take invega because risperidone was making me gain a lot of weight. I changed but I can't lose that weight. I was already taking sertraline I still take it. I stopped having my period when on invega and Pregnancy is not on the table already done the test. Can anyone help me?

Temporary movement disorders are common with (currently available) antipsychotics such including Invega. If you recieved permission from your psychiatrist to raise the dose ask them to prescribe a side effect pill that will help mitigate that those symptoms.

They are suppose to strip my membranes how does that work? Does it hurt.
