I was told there is no real evidence it reacts with clopidogrel (plavix) and if it does, the effect is tiny. My INR didn't change on this medication for 2 years. It would seem Aspirin is the culprit for causing my stomach issues, so I've been taken off aspirin and put back onto plavix for life.

does having heated arguments cause a stent to collapse? my fiancee has had 3 stents put in and 1 collapsed after a heated argument between us. this was 8 months ago. recently we had another argument cause by pressure to relocated to another country. can his st. waves, lots of pvc's and high blood pressure (205/125) be caused by this? recently he also had 3 teeth removed and is taking antibiotics for this. he had complication on one and they had to stitch his gums.
s like if I want some Clopidogrel (another form of anti platelet med) I could ask for either Clopidogrel or Plavix, Plavix is the brand name the drug company trades the medication under.
My cardiologist is pressing me to shift from asprin+clopidogrel to warfarin. He says I have chances of getting a clot in damaged section of heart (anterior) and warfarin is more effective. For last two yesrs I am on asprin+clopidogrel. My EF is 35% due to MI in 2007.
Anyone who has experience and/or information on above, please advise.
