Avatar f tn Not all rehab centers are equal. Many if not most try to do it too quickly with a one size fits all approach, whereas an individual psychiatrist who really knows his stuff will go at your pace. Not that those are easy to find! By the way, you need a new psychiatrist. The one you have doesn't seem to realize he works for you.
Avatar m tn So, you’re right to look for cheap rehab centers. You don’t have to break into a bank or go broke in the name of getting off drug and alcohol addiction.
1046832 tn?1255008262 Well I'm back, but my son called and has agreed that he needs help so how do you get good help with no insurance or money?
1113973 tn?1258663021 t nearly as pricey as inpatient programs. Many work around your work schedule. You have to look for a rehab with the same gusto that you hunt for pills. This is your recovery, seize it!
723959 tn?1314744225 We did not get a loan because our goal is not to have a morgage. My work is seasonal so I do not go back to work until later in march. I have tried to beat this before, but I failed. I got so sick that my husband took me to the ER twice. I would pay the 1,500 in a minute if it were at least 3 weeks. See I had a horrific childhood it still to this day haunts me. So I knew if I got into a place I would come out a New woman.
1175931 tn?1263809505 Get your phone book out. Look up detox and rehab centers in your area. Whether you have health insurance or not there are places you can go to get detoxed. That is the beginning. Then the work begins. To figure out why you are doing this. It sounds like it started with back surgery. But that is just a symptom.. There is something that is making you afraid or sad or both that makes you feel a need to numb yourself. I use to do this with alcohol.
Avatar f tn xs a day of Morphine and the same of Roxicodone except I took 6 (15mg) a day..I am extremely worried where my pain managment and rehaab centers tell me DO NOT WEEN ANYMORE off of my meds because it can lead to a miscariage..Even though I am trying my best to do better then I have..Where as my OBGYN says to try and get completely off or I am taking a chance in my baby being addicted..
Avatar f tn Most rehab centers take care of the detox the first week or so that you're there. I know the ones I checked into do. Also, stay away from Ultram. It will open a can of worms you don't need to mess with.
1065007 tn?1255540445 programs for those who do not have insurance. The ones that do usually take one a month. Unfortunately, you will have to do the foot work to find one. I would try a google search and slapper had a great idea to hi-tail to a meeting (which never hurts) and ask around. Best of luck and hope you stick around!
Avatar f tn i need to take a leave of absence from work. how do i tell them? do i have to tell them i am a drug addict going to rehab? can anybody tell me how you did it?
16915539 tn?1452355139 I wouldn't last 10 minutes with people treating me that way! If you're just on opiates and have no medical issues, then you don't have to do to a rehab or detox center. Detox at home for free and no one will invade your privacy or tell you what to do. Or is there something you're looking for from a rehab?
1589929 tn?1310066922 I'm currently taking benzos for my anxiety disorder and have been on them for almost 3 years now but I'm not addicted to the benzos, I'm dependent on them.
Avatar m tn sub has been pretty good for me but i could certainly see where it could be a big problem for some people they really should try to keep in rehab or detox centers the shorter your on it the better from what i have the withdrawal is very bad and long lasting i do understand some may need long term with sub but it seems that some people are trading a light addiction and then getting hooked on sub and it is very potent it seems we are trading less for more

299889 tn?1257339377 The Morphine is scary and I finally started calling detox centers and rehab. I feel like I have to take myself out of my environment because my life ias so busy and the people around me ARE so needy (family) job. My fiance is behind me but he isn't an addict. The only medical detox I have found is no smoking but what the hey, 3 days.... Should I try to detox at home first and then go to treatment. I am grateful I have the chance to go. Has anyone went thru this.
Avatar f tn The best thing for you to do is look up REHAB centers in your area or as much of an area that you can afford to drive. It's imperative that you visit more than one. Use all your resources...internet, friends, references, staff and other informative resources that can help you decide. Nursing homes really just take care of the patient with little or no rehab. Do you have a HealthSouth in your area? In bigger cities HealthSouth has a good name.
Avatar m tn There are many expensive rehab centers across the United States that are not too large, or crowded, but will keep him at least 90 days and urge him to transition to a sober living facility afterward for a period of time. These facilities, if you have the money, can be very effective. I do not know the name of the facilities that deal specifically w/ crack addiction, but you can find them by going to the following website and finding the link within the page that says something like..
14183940 tn?1433536902 Hey Cj!! I didn't realize you were so close, I'm from Amarillo, Texas. I know here in Tx, many rehab centers offer payment plans for people without ins, you would need to locate one near you and see if maybe that is an option for you. Take care!!
Avatar n tn I doubt anyone can help you here. Your best bet is to do a goggle search and/or call treatment centers in your area. Best of luck!
Avatar m tn Am I able to quit it by myself? Or Do I to join in any rehab centers for it? My mom is advising me to join in Edgewood, an addiction treatment center in Toronto. Since it is expensive, I’m confused, but I wonder whether I could handle the withdrawal symptoms. Any advice would be appreciable.
Avatar f tn What ensued was him wanting to get clean and start rehab. We were advised by our insurance that he would need detox first however we lived in an area that doesn't have any detox centers so were advised to go to the hospital. He ended up being put in the psychiatric ward as they didn't have a detox area for three days. He stated that he didn't have much detox symptoms but that thre was one night where he was restless and had the chills etc.
