So if you do a cup of coffee have an extra glass of milk too :) but no one can of soda or one cup of coffee is fine. However they do recommend NO artificial sweeteners so no diet soda no equal or sweet and low.

Avatar f tn Hi - I'm recently weaned from Prozac and am having a difficult time. Besides the emotional side effects, I've been experiencing many physical side effects; some that scare me. Yesterday, I swam 10 laps in the pool and then went for a run (training for a mini-triathlon aka sprint). During the run, I suddenly started feeling like I was getting shocked. Not like when you are shocked by static but more like I touched an electric fence (one that they have to keep animals in a yard).
577348 tn?1221747891 If you are just beginning to take Armour and your body is not adjusted to it yet, I would avoid caffeine for the first week, just to make sure your body doesn't over react to it, and then re-introduce it when your body has settled down a little bit.

701334 tn?1262853503 it takes a while for the aftershocks as i call them to dissipate, depending on how much you drank and for how long. i would advise having a complete physical with bloodwork to assess your condition. be honest with your physician about your concerns and you should be able to get a better idea of what to do next. alcohol abuse will damage many parts of the body but they will often recover with proper diet and exercise along with staying sober, if the condition is arrested soon enough.
Avatar f tn t think it does too much but it may depend on how much your body is use to having, whether it affects the baby or how it does so. You should probably discuss this matter with your Dr and see what he thinks you can have and not affect your baby.
1354772 tn?1300977548 Caffeine will definitely worsen your anxiety...So, anything with caffeine in it will have this effect (soda, coffee, tea, etc.). You will also want to avoid energy drinks. Technically, the effect is more physical than mental, but when you feel the same physical effects as you do from an anxiety attack (racing heart, palpitations, sweating, shakes, etc.), you automatically link it to anxiety and begin to give yourself anxiety.

Avatar f tn I drank regular ginger ale in first trimester when I couldn't keep any food down, but I bought the stuff without High Fructose Corn Syrup-- Hansen's brand, if you're in the States, is sweetened with real cane sugar. Honestly, it's like 100 calories for the whole can-- better to drink real sugar than Splenda or Aspartame! Both HFCS and artificial sweeteners are really horrible for your body.

Decaff contains little to no caffeine while regular coffee contains high amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can cause MANY problems. I would name them all but it would take me a very long time. Look at this website for further information on caffeine and the side effects it has. Some you have probably already had and didn't even notice.
