When you have sex, certain chemicals are released in the brain, one being oxytocin(the bonding hormone). Oxytocin makes you feel attached to whom ever you are with, so if you sleep with multiple partners, your brain feels attachment toward each guy, losing a bit of yourself each time you sleep with someone new.

We read a paper about a certain hormone (oxytocin) which is related to breastfeeding but also is related to orgasms and vaginal lubrication. Being a class of largely college undergrads unexperienced in childbirth, we were wondering if when you are breastfeeding, 1) do you experience arousal from feeding your baby? 2) do you find you have an increased sex drive during the months while you're lactating/nursing? Thanks for your help!
Low levels of this enzyme reduce levels of deoxytestosterone in the brain, the more powerful form of testosterone. Female mice fed soy experienced a significant fall in the release of oxytocin (dubbed the “love hormone”) from their brains. This caused a decrease in sexual receptivity — that is, they were less interested in sex. Oxytocin is also critical for normal social development. Among its many additional functions is protecting the brain from inflammation.
It is good for your circulatory system and the production of oxytocin that occurs during orgasm is a feel good hormone that makes you more content and feel affectionate and more able to bond with another person.. I don't know who told you that masturbation is bad-- but get over it. NO professional who does research on sexual behavior disapproves of it.
The one after assures women that orgasm during pregnancy is perfectly safe and normal. Pitocin is a liquid medication that is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring hormone, oxytocin. Both induce labor. This is a small bit from http://pregnancy.about.com/od/induction/a/pitocindiffers.htm Pitocin can interfere with bonding. When the body releases oxytocin, also known as the love hormone, it promotes bonding with the baby after birth. Pitocin interferes with the internal release of oxytocin, which can disturb the bonding process.
The hormone oxytocin (a nine amino acid peptide that is synthesized in hypothalamic neurons and transported down axons of the posterior pituitary for secretion into blood) secretes within your body whenever you engage in sexual activity. Because of this secretion, endorphins (hormone-like chemicals that bear a close functional resemblance to morphine) are released. When a person is aroused or excited, oxytocin levels not only begin to increase, they are the reason that orgasms come about.
Masturbation teaches you about your body and helps with partner sex--among other things, tuning into your body during masturbation allows you to learn your orgasm triggers, helping prevent involuntary ejaculation. And as you noted, orgasm releases a hormone (oxytocin) that reduces anxiety and helps you feel relaxed. I wouldn't think masturbating that way would cause any physical harm (aside from possible friction burns, irritation, etc.
Another great side effect is the fact that orgasms produce oxytocin, the hormone that causes contractions. So, between the two, there is a pretty good case for the cure for pregnancy. Evening Primrose Oil and Red Raspberry Leaf Tea Neither will actually induce labor.
The soy we eat here in the states is not fermented, like it is in Asia, so all the toxins are still left in," said Nolan-Ryan. Dianne Gregg who wrote the book "The Hidden Dangers of Soy." "You're seeing more problems as far as hypothyroidism," said Gregg, "women are gaining weight because they have a problem with their thyroid.
I have a feeling that the chronic masturbation has caused an imbalance of some kind of chemical or hormone in my brain. I have had a simple testosterone level check and they found my T to be in normal range but DHEA to be very high. Is the masturbation causing me the anxiety/panic episodes? if so, why and what can i do (other than quitting sex/masturbation) to stop it?
If the baby is positioned right (chest to chest, ears, shoulders, and hip aligned, open wide, flanged lips, taking in enough areola) breastfeeding ends up actually being a “FEEL GOOD” experience because of a hormone your body releases called oxytocin. In the beginning (first 10 days) you may have a little soreness due to changes, but for most women, they sincerely enjoy breastfeeding and the special bond it gives to mother and baby… which is one of your biggest concerns.
yep you are pretty immoral for wanting to dump a girl after 2 years bc she wont **** you every night. let me tell you the average amount of sex people have in relationships is about 2 per week. why would want to cheat on her? bc that girl would be one night anyway, after being in a long relationship a hormone called oxytocin "the cuddle hormone" releases and sex isnt as passionate and on the mind 24/7.

I am not suggesting that you men are bad in relationships, sex, looks or anything else. What I mean to say is that women need a certain connection with her man. That connection is understanding. They want you to truly listen and understand them, not just say you do. Most women I know can tell the difference in the way her man treats her whether he understands her or not.
I do not know anyone who does the actual hCG protocol in their practice but I do know physicians who do Age Management Medicine and hormone therapy and are familiar with bioidentical hormone therapy. When you search for a physician in your area, ensure they are board certified in their field and have experience in weight management. Anyone can tell you to eat less, exercise more and take xenical, etc.
I am a 27 year old female; I am in a pretty good shape. I exercise regularly and for the last 3 months I have been running 3 to 5 times a week for 2 miles. My problem is that sometimes I would get very severe LOW abdominal pain when running. Sometimes is on the right side, sometimes is on the left side. It does not happen all the time, though. I worm up and increase my speed gradually. I am not sure if I should I see a doctor about that. If anyone has had anything similar, please share.
