The other dr i spoke to seemed to think that i may actually get a period this month, i am trying to put on weight ready for our 4th ivf in june. P.
Avatar f tn Can you tell how far along you are with the hormone level from the beta test? I got my results today and my level was 57,972. The nurse said I'm probably around 5 weeks but going off of my lmp I should be 9.6 weeks. I really can't go off of my lmp because with my son, I had gotten pregnant right before my period so I didn't know how far along I was until my ultrasound.
797256 tn?1237636468 Hello, I am writing because I have lots of symptoms of PCOS and 5 years ago I went through fertiltiy and found that I have PCOS, but now 5 years later I had my hormone levels taken just by family doctor and they say they are normal but what is normal. Can anyone help me? I don't have periods, I grow hair in places you don't want and more here are the lab results from lab. Estradiol (estrogen) 26 pg/mL FSH 5.0 mIU/mL LH 12.2 mIU/mL These are the ones they have done. What does this mean?
Avatar m tn I would go to another dr and get an us and hormone levels checked then have them schedule you for surgery if they say your levels are up and you are not pregnant again. Best of luck and longer it stays in you it can actually casue major health issues and complicate future pregnancies.
Avatar f tn t had to much problems with them. Now for you estridol levels what day were they taken? here is a link to a levels graph that might give you alot of info. http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html#female Also are you seeing a RE or plain GYN? 3 years is a long time! What kind of tests have they been doing, or have done? One thing you need to do is start charting your basal body temperature. Look up fertility friend and it has great info and a course you take for free.
1936698 tn?1333915193 At 31 weeks your hormone levels are not being looked at anymore. By hormone levels I think you mean HCG. In early pregnancy if a Dr. is trying to tell if you are pregnant or if they are unsure if you are having a miscarriage or not they will look at your HCG levels. These levels should double every 48-72 hours, if they do not it is usually a bad sign. After they can see baby on the Ultrasound and get a strong Heartbeat they will stop taking these HCG levels.
Avatar n tn are you sure how far along you are? is it possible that you are further in to your pregnancy than 8 weeks? I ask this because HCG levels during the first trimester will peak sometime around 9 to 12 weeks of pregnancy, at somewhere around 25,700 to 288,000 mIU/ml. By the final weeks of the first trimester week 13 and 14, hCG levels are finally on the decline, and will be at around 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml. From there, hCG levels tend to continue the downward change into the second trimester.
Avatar f tn What are the reference ranges for the FT3 and FT4? These vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own report. I'm not sure why your doctor would tell you to go completely off the synthroid; would probably have been better to adjust your dosage instead. You have to be consistent in taking the med or you will never know what's working or what isn't.
1287560 tn?1272216521 Hello, just wondering if any of you lovely ladies know much about hormone levels, mine have come back but my gp is off till next week-anyway I am 41 years fsh 7.1, LH 1.3 eostrodiol 147, underneath the receptionist said it said "no action required" so I am thinking these must be normal?
Avatar n tn As long as they increase - they are good! Look at some of the threads in this forum - a bunch of women posted their levels - but you cant compare apples to apples since you don't know exactly when you conceived. Just make sure they are increasing through another blood test to be sure.
Avatar f tn Hormone levels as in HCG? I'd say no, that's not possible, there is a specific type of blood test (I believe) that you can get done to tell gender, but I don't think insurance covers it, so you'd have had to pay it out of pocket, did you have any issues that would require a specific blood test, or did you request one?
4974520 tn?1366757591 What were your hormone levels ? @5weeks mine were 10,400 and @ 7weeks mine were 80,000+ im now 14weeks and have no idea what they are now.... what is a normal range ?
3124261 tn?1342217059 ve already taken hormone pills to regulate my period, but all that did was cause me to have heavy periods for 2 weeks straight so I discontinued taking them. I do want to have kids in the future, but in the meantime, what do I do to solve my problem?
Avatar m tn how long does it take for hormone levels to go after medical intervention of a missed miscarriage
Avatar n tn Hormone levels can cause this but you should consider seeing your health care provider and or your GYN you can get your hormone levels, this could be other things such as anemia. see your doctor.
Avatar f tn Along with that, have you had your iron levels, estrogen levels, progesterone levels and vitamin D levels tested? Or did the doctor just run a standard panel?
Avatar n tn You’ll need tests like an USG of the uterus and pelvis and possibly an endometrial biopsy along with hormone levels assessment to ascertain the cause of the same. For this please consult a gynecologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn t want to do follow-up bloodwork. If you wanted to, you could always request that they do bloodwork so that you'd know for sure when your levels are back to "normal". Good luck with your next attempt! Sorry you had to go through this loss.
Avatar m tn It may be that your hormone levels have changed and you may be beginning the perimenopausal phase of your life. If your period does not start normally, make an appointment with your doctor do a blood test to check your hormone levels and any iron deficiency. Best wishes.
Avatar n tn Spotting can seem like a light period sometimes. You need your hormone levels checked. You could be starting early menopause. It happens. You need a doctor. You need tests.
Avatar f tn What are your current thyroid hormone levels? If you have a copy of your latest lab report, please post results and be sure to include reference ranges, as those vary lab to lab and have to come from your own report. Low thyroid hormone levels can cause menstrual cycle to be off, as well. There could be many reasons why conception didn't occur.
Avatar f tn m just wondering if you might get a really detailed profile of your thyroid. Hopefully you can have it checked several times over a three to six month period. I imagine you gynecologist can advise if your pre menopausal or in menopause. When I finally took the test, thinking I was starting to go into that phase, I found I was long past the end of the whole process! I don't think all your symptoms are connected to the same thing.
