So sometime it may be possible that it can give you false negative results during early days of pregnancy only because of un- sufficient level of hCG to make test positive.
My fertility doctor has now prescribed several hormone supplements. I need to take Letrozole (to help ovulation), Premarin (=estrogen to help build up uterin lining) and duphaston.
I was wondering if it is safe to combine this treatment with herbal supplements. I was thinking Evening Primrose Oil (period - ovulation), Flax Seed Oil (ovulation - period) and raspberry leaf tablets (all cycle).
Does anyone know whether this is ok? Doe anyone have any experience with this?

I have already test with 5 pregnancy test kits and the results show negative. In my whole abdomen USG, the following were observed:
1. Uterus is normal in size. Outline has homogenous echo patter. No focal SOL is seen. Middle echo of uterus is normal. Uterine cavity is emoty. Cervix is normal.
2. Both ovaries are bulky in size. Right ovary in POD and adherent to the posterior wall of uterus.
3. No fluid is seen.

Not every day is good! It's actually counterproductive to have sex every day.
That being said, have either of you had fertility tests? Doctors are usually willing to do said tests after a couple has tried over a year with no success. You'll want to know hormone levels are right and you'll want to try to track ovulation, too, which can be done by basal body temperature and ovulation kits.

We are over 35 years old so I was looking to see how long we should try before we take any other steps. And do you have any suggestions on things to do now (like ovulation kits)?! I sincerely appreciate any good feedback and insight. Thank you!

ve already been to two Infertility specialists and they say nothing is wrong with my hormone levels etc. or my husband after checking everything. Has anyone had problems using ovulation kits reading their LH level? Another specialist said I can't get pregnant because I've had anorexia years ago. I am so confused.
There are a couple of ways to find out if you are ovulating. One is to get a blood test on day 21 for a hormone called progesterone, which is only present in the blood during the 11-14 days after ovulation before your next period starts. If the progesterone is more than 3 ng/ml (or 10 pmol/ml, depending on where you live), then you are ovulating. If less than 3 ng/ml on day 21, I would suggest repeating on day 25, 26, 27, or 28 to see if you have had a delayed ovulation.
A few days is too soon. The hormone detected by pregnancy tests is HCG, this isnt produced until about 8 days after fertilisation so it wouldnt be detected by a test. Im not saying that after 8 days you will be able to get a definite result but you could maybe try 10 days after fertilisation? Although this is like what bimbicat said becuase i would imagine this would be near to when you period is due.
t have to have a period to ovulate regularly. I would ask for a hormone blood work throughout a cycle to see when you are ovulating. I would also seek another Dr.
