Common Questions and Answers about Hormone imbalance inflammation

My feeling is that hormone imbalance is caused by other factors. It just can't happen by itself. This is why in Western medicine, the answers are so unsatisfying. We look at one variable at a time. In Chinese medicine or many of the other healing modalities, they look at the whole person. I'll answer Cindy's question soon..
I even got a text to check my hormone level, but typically this came back fine as well because I'm on the pill. I even went as far as getting a mammogram done at this early of an age... I was scared thinking it was something...I've been to the doctors so many times that I don't know what else more to do... the doctor I normally went to didn't want to help me or give me anymore tests because she thought I was perfectly healthy. I asked her if maybe she thought I was suffering from anxiety?

Actually, it wasnt my intent to see him at all; I just wanted to pick up a saliva hormone imbalance test, but after talking to his wife at the clinic, she sent me back for a free consult with the doctor. Instead of hormones, he strongly suggested that I get tested for food allergies. He really suspects that my main symptoms of fast heart rate, hot ears, acne and other physiological anxiety symptoms may very well be the delayed reaction to certain food(s).

Forgot to add, I am almost 1 1/2 years post surgical menopause. Both ovaries are gone. I have not been treated for hormone imbalance, aka low estrogen. My skin has done weird things ever since the surgery. I wonder if the low estrogen is contributing to the slow healing?

It occurs when the immune system produces antibodies that attack the thyroid gland, making it produce too much thyroid hormone and creating a hormone imbalance. This condition happens often in people with a family history of thyroid disease. In some patients with Graves' disease, one of the noticeable symptoms may be swelling behind the eyes, causing discomfort or increased tearing or causing the eyes to push forward or bulge.
We went to a gastroenterologist and found that she has mild inflammation in the lower part of the stomach. And in her tests she found that her haemoglobin was less and other tests including thyroid were perfect. We took medicine for over a month but not sign of improvement in her vomitting. But her haemoglobin came to normal during that period. She has got pimples in her face in the last few years and she had never had it before (she is now 29yrs old).

When you have high levels of insulin in your blood, this interferes with the process that releases LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) in the right amounts for ovulation to occur. Depending on what level your insulin is from one month to the next, the level of FSH released early in the cycle will be affected too. Have you ever wondered why your cycle is irregular, why some months you ovulate and some months you don't?

almost everything thing is. In the next decade we will see exponential amount of data and doctors finally standing behind the finding that our endocrine system=hormonal factors is behind the majority of health problems developed as the body ages.
A foul smelling discharge from vagina can be due to bacterial vaginosis, candidia infection, or STDs like trichomoniasis etc. It can also be due to inflammation of the cervix or cervicitis. Foreign body in vagina like lodged condom, forgotten tampon can also be the cause. You will need to consult a gynecologist to get the vaginal discharge tested. It is difficult to find the cause on net. Correct treatment will follow correct diagnosis. Take care!
Couple doctors said vasomotor rhinitis is from chronic inflammation, a couple other doctors said from imbalance of sympathetic or parasympathetic nervous system nasal vessel mucosa. It is very confusing. If from imbalance then why would steroid nasal sprays suppose to help? Which they don't for me but I guess they do for some people. Any surgery or treatments would be greatly apreciated doctor.
If the feeling of heat is not due to low estrogen or due to hyperthyroidism or due to imbalance in FSH, LH level, then the feeling of heat can be due to electrolyte imbalance. Underlying infection or inflammation in the body can result in the feeling of heat. It can also be due to acidity and dry vagina or due to acidity and vaginal infection. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining.
