Avatar f tn Those two are very good together for knocking down migraines, which often have a hormone trigger. I find them effective for hormone-based headaches when doing IVF. Start with only a half pill of magnesium, it can give you gas-type cramps.
Avatar f tn Headaches can mean dehydration.. high blood pressure.. as well as high hormone levels.. I'd say drink more water for starters..

Avatar f tn Iv had him read with me articles we googled about changes and hormones and he seems to be a lot better. When I experience something new, recently tons of headaches & bathroom trips, I include him in the journey & we'll talk about it. I say, read anything about pregnancy together & if that's too much for him, try writing down your thoughts/feelings throughout the day so you don't take it out on him.
Avatar n tn They sound like tension headaches,is she due to sit exams in school or move schools soon,it could also be a hormone change going on as her age is when most do start their periods and things.
Avatar m tn Over the past two to three years symptoms also include severe migraine headaches, joint pain, and sleep disorders. Now I am 44 years old. In an effort to try and document a pattern, I recently clued into an increase of some symptoms just prior to or at the beginning of my period. (Stress definitely aggravates my conditions) I confronted my gyno, but basically got a response that it was a coincidence, and it had nothing to do with hormones. Could I be allergic to my own hormones?
Avatar f tn I've been getting headaches a lot, and I really don't like taking pills for them, is there any other ways I can get rid of them?
Avatar f tn Still in the first trimester, 11 weeks, been having crazy bad headaches. They last for a long period of time and I try naps to help. Hot showers and massages. Want to avoid medication and will talk to my doctor when I see her Wednesday. Anyone experience this or have advice?? Thank you!

1878896 tn?1320583569 Hormonal imbalances can also cause headaches- are you taking any birth control, other hormone medications, or is there a possibility that you're pregnant? Headaches can also be caused by a side effect from prescription pills, withdrawal symptoms from nicotine and alcohol (and other drugs), low oxygen levels, flu and other illnesses, and of course tension and stress. (Do you have any exams coming up- those always gave me gnarly headaches and nausea.
Avatar f tn I am 12+5weeks I've been getting very bad headaches and really tired too, they get so bad they make me light headed and I get very naseous at the same time. I keep think something is wrong...has anyone experienced this??
1139187 tn?1355706647 I went to a new endo who agreed they are caused by hashi/hypo hormone changes and he also said that lots of hashi patients are prone to frequent headaches of various degrees. News to me! He is working with my levels until both my levels are stable and my symptoms are better. In the meantime my gp prescribed meds for any migraines so I can function and not be confined to my bed or couch for a whole day or two. In conclusion, if your doc won't listen, see a new one.
Avatar f tn I'm 12 weeks pregnant and for the last 1 I've been having headaches. Is this just my hormones? Has anyone else had this?
Avatar f tn When you stress you release a hormone cortisol and epinephrine and it also stresses out the baby. Trust me, nothing is serious enough to risk the life of your unborn child. God will not place us through anymore than we can bare. Just focus on positive things and speak life and constantly pray. Have faith and I'll be praying for you.
Avatar f tn I got dreadful headaches after the miscarriage due to dropping hormones. I read that caffeine could help so had many cups of tea and it actually seemed to help a lot. Take care.
1891806 tn?1391119037 Well....I promised to post after I went to my new Chiari Specialist. He was very good...but his news wasn't. He said I do have definite Chiari symptoms, but he feels I also have symptoms of ALS. My mom died of ALS 3 years ago and there is no cure. He is sending me to an ALS Specialist before considering on treating my Chiari. He said "why treat the Chiari if I have ALS (because it's terminal). I guess he's right. Please pray for me.
882810 tn?1255374562 So for all those who have been following my other threads, I have some positive news. They did a TV scan today and the found a gestational sac and it's exactly where it should be. As I am still spotting they are reviewing my hormone levels again tomoro and then as long as they have gone up again then I'll be booked in for another scan in 14 days-Which we are hoping should show a fetal pole and maybe a heart beat.
Avatar f tn Is anyone else having hormone headaches? I have had daily headaches for over a week and my OB said they are Very normal. Tylenol is not helping has anyone found something pregnancy safe that works?
Avatar f tn s spell wrong ) There only thing she said that it can be put down to hormone changes to your body but when I have taken them pain relief I had to nap as can't bare to do anything else. How far are you in you pregnancy?
Avatar f tn I'm 31 weeks & I've had headaches here and there throughout pregnancy.. but if I ever felt one coming on I'd make sure to drink lots of water (dehydration can cause headaches) & I've also used a warm rag on my head.. laying in the dark, on my left side, etc. probably helped too.. also try to think about what you've eaten today.. I did notice I'd get them more often if I'd eaten chips that day, too many pickles, etc.
Avatar f tn Another thing I have to bring up to my doc is my inability to lose weight. It's been a year since DD was born and I've lost only ten lbs (most of it just this past week---and I haven't been doing anything different). My goal is to lose 60 (and now it is 50---woo hoo!). I'm thinking I have a hormone imbalance because my forehead broke out a little which is never does, I've been weepy which I never am, and things of that nature.
