My mom uses a progesterone cream for menopause and her dr is constantly monitoring her and checking her hormone levels and I used progesterone pills early in my pregnancy and my dr drew blood every week to adjust it as necessary.

Are you seeing an RE? Have you had all the other hormone levels checked? An FSH test, for example, could give you an indication of your egg reserves. Good luck!

Or do I just go on estriol cream/patch or estrogel cream....and then figure out if I need t add more, and how do I figure that out - how does one know if she needs progesterin/progestin or testosterone added (either the medical kind or the bio identical kind).

Hiya I've been on prempac c for about 6 months I think but vid noticed I seem to getting thrush quite a few times but the sensation isn't all the time I've been given a 150g pessary also cream it's seems to b just inside if it's hrt related what causes it and why does hrt cause thrush is it hormone based or an inbalance thanks

Took new saliva test and went to new hormone specialist. She changed me to cream (bio-identical also) plus added 4 adrenal food supplements. I have taken the same blood pressure med for 17 years and kept my levels normal. After using the hormone cream and adrenal supplements for three weeks, my blood pressure soared. My doctor took me off the supplements, but my blood pressure was still dangerously high. She doubled my present BP med plus added another med before it would come back down.

t want it clouding my CD21 progesterone test to check if I ovulated - turned out I got pregnant but lost it very early. My hormone doc suggested I take this cycle off TTC and start the cream early from CD6 to build up my progesterone for a month which is what I'm doing. Next month when I go back to TTC I will use it a day or so after I have ovulated and continue that for a few months.

Now this week I am having very thick stringy cream discharge. I have never had anything like this. Could the discharge be from changing to a lower hormone pill or could I be pregnant. I did a test last week but it came out negative.

t have taken more than a month at the most to pass everything and you should definately not still be having a positive pregnancy test unless this is a new pregnancy. You should seek medical attention this can become a dangerous health hazard.

bny807- Thanks for your response! Is 14 days after IUI the same as 14 days past O? (sorry-don't know much about it...) So do you know if i were to continue taking progesterone until i knew i wasn't pregnant, would that delay my AF or would i still get it? It seems crazy to think that i could stop progesterone cream and end up causing myself a miscarriage, all b/c i had no idea i was pregnant.

My question is to those of you whose husband had a hard time understanding pregnancy and pregnancy hormones. Both me and my husband are pretty laid back people so this has been a little be hard. I have tried several anti inflammatory medications, ibuprofen, arthritis strength tylenol, naprosyn to name a few, and nothing seems to alleviate my discomfort. A friend suggested I try using progesterone cream ( natural Yam) and I immediately felt relief of my joint pain. Is joint pain an actual symptom of menopause? Is progesterone cream safe to use? The comfort I gain from using the cream seems to wear off toward the end of the day. Can I use it twice a day?
