Common Questions and Answers about Hormone cream effects

hormone

Avatar f tn Lil Lady is correct. Progesterone is a hormone supplement, so you have to have a dr's prescription to get it. Why were you thinking about starting it? Did a doctor recommend it?
Avatar m tn I have been experiencing low testosterone myself and I have read a great deal on the importance of testosterone in the male. My male dog is fixed. He is 3 years old and seems very healthy. But i've begun to worry about his testosterone levels and how it effects his health. Is there a natural way to support my dogs testosterone levels. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn Or do I just go on estriol cream/patch or estrogel cream....and then figure out if I need t add more, and how do I figure that out - how does one know if she needs progesterin/progestin or testosterone added (either the medical kind or the bio identical kind).
Avatar f tn It does not help that my recovery was slow due to complications and side effects to chemo so I need extra help, Has anyone else had a similar experience? How long did it last? I am 57 and went through menopause 7 years ago.
Avatar m tn Hi sorry hormone therapy will not help at all , there are no pills or cream to make your penis any bigger , take care ,
Avatar n tn I have never tried natural hormones or synthetic hormones, and I'm going through menopause now. I experience extreme irritability, but not anxiety in particular. Because of the potential side-effects of any hormone "bioidentical" or otherwise I choose to just take the natural route. I know that physicians would disagree with my choice, but for me personally, I just think that when the body says "I'm on a new journey" we should listen to what our bodies say.
Avatar f tn I've been taking progesterone since about 6 weeks because my hormone levels were low in thc blood test and I just recently read that it can cause birth defects with sexual development and stuff..

Avatar f tn Anyone have experience with pregnancy after having a preemie? What sort of side effects do the hormone shots have?
Avatar n tn Can I take a lower dose or cream that would possibly lessen these side effects? I would prefer to take only the estrogen, but my doctor is concerned that it could stimulate the regrowth of endometriosis. Thank you for your feedback.
200220 tn?1361951554 Dr. Lupus: My holistic doctor gave me natural progesterone cream to use to help me stabilize my moods and pick up the free estrogen that is floating in my body. My question to you is it dangerous to use with taking levothyroxine 37.5 with having hashimotor disease. My doctor is an MD also and seem to be very knowledgeable about the thyroid along with helping me with celiac disease. What is your experience with this natural product.
Avatar f tn I am a firm believer in natural supplements where possible to help and although the effects are not immediate (can take weeks or even months to work), the outcome is often much better than medications that have side effects in any case. I love yogurt and have been automatically eating loads of it at the moment, and beans, just like you suggest. Thanks for your support!
Avatar m tn Hello, Hydrocortisone is a steroid cream and if you have been using steroid cream for such a long time, then please do not use it as it can cause side effects like thinning of skin and increased fragility. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn Took new saliva test and went to new hormone specialist. She changed me to cream (bio-identical also) plus added 4 adrenal food supplements. I have taken the same blood pressure med for 17 years and kept my levels normal. After using the hormone cream and adrenal supplements for three weeks, my blood pressure soared. My doctor took me off the supplements, but my blood pressure was still dangerously high. She doubled my present BP med plus added another med before it would come back down.
Avatar m tn Never did anyone discuss with me the many symptoms that occur with such a hormone shift.... and so my crisis begins. After two weeks without my regular injection my acne returned, first as it had been before my shot and gradually became worse than I ever imagined. Clogged pores, multiple types of irritation, constant outbreaks, rapid appearance of aging - I was becoming deeply depressed.
Avatar m tn We went to have multiple tests done and they confirmed that im producing next to no growth hormone, or something of that nature. Over the last couple years, I noticed that my friends have been getting taller, while im not. They said that if I dont get hormone injections, my platelets? will close and i wont grow at all. I am considering it and am wondering if there are any severe side effects the medication may have.
Avatar f tn Yes it is and you can get blisters and sores too and flu like symtoms and accing bones, look at the handout that comes with the cream, it has an extensive list of the side effects of the cream, trust me, i got them all. Best of luck.
1031264 tn?1318524241 t want it clouding my CD21 progesterone test to check if I ovulated - turned out I got pregnant but lost it very early. My hormone doc suggested I take this cycle off TTC and start the cream early from CD6 to build up my progesterone for a month which is what I'm doing. Next month when I go back to TTC I will use it a day or so after I have ovulated and continue that for a few months.
Avatar m tn I have read on many medical sites that this drug should not be applied to the groin. I have also read that cortisol can bind to hormone receptors in the testicles and therefore block out testosterone which is meant to bind there. From this information it seems like applying a cortisol cream to the testicles could cause many sexual problems. Is this possible and what should I do? I am literally at the end of my rope. Doctors are not helping me.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression about a year ago. Finally about 3 weeks ago, I really felt better. My doctor and therapist were very pleased, but now I feel so much worse and I don't understand it. I don't think I'm suicidal, but I sure wish I was. Does anyone else feel like that? I'm nervous, sad, want to die but can't do it myself. I even think I just haven't found the right method yet.
Avatar f tn Can anyone tell me please the difference between hrt thrush and normal thrush is there a difference only I've noticed for the last few months I seem to get a burning itchy feeling inside been to the doctors and was given a 150 g pessary and cream for outside but the burning isn't constant am taking prempac c hrt if this is causing it can anyone explain why it's causing it please thanks
Avatar f tn i have been on a hormone replacement cream for about 6 months now and have shown extreme improvement in symptoms. however, there is no real way to tell if my infertility has been resolved. i have explored the internet and havent been able to find much information on the results of the treatment or the side effects, and was wondering if anyone had any advice or personal experience.
