3119347 tn?1343885362 Also, neuropathy as result of tx can cause balance issues. I would just go get yourself checked out. A lot of people have balance issues during tx, but its a little more concerning to me that you are having them afterwards.
11119474 tn?1428702170 She was positive she could help me, and I am doing much better (in the pool for sure, and also a bit better on land). Balance issues were part of my last relapse ... I am presently picking up the pieces/improving strength etc. It's not always possible, but don't underestimate physiotherapy :).
847512 tn?1272567062 I am noticing now that I am also having balance issues where while I walk one of my feet will drag on ocassion and I am getting the numbness and tingling in my foot along with the fact I am still getting leg and back pain and arm and hand pain and numbness and tingling and weakness... Avatar f tn 3 months ago had a brain MRI for migraines and vertigo which unfortunately showed white matter hyper intensities in periventricular mostly subcortical. So wonder if balance issues/ vertigo are from my ear issues or the white matter (about 18 small mm lesions)?? Also since the birth of my middle son have mild incontinence some times mostly the week before my period, or when I am nervous. Always was an anxious person and have health anxiety now its 10 times worse. Any thoughts on this?
Avatar f tn I think im having hormone issues but the blood test appears to be normal (have to chat my doctor more about the results though). Here is what has happened so far: August: Diagnosed with ovarian cyst October: Told to go off the pill (yasmin). Had been on it for about 3 years. November: Surgery to remove ovarian cyst, left ovary and tube. Anaemia. Did not have a period, due to come a week after surgery.
1448748 tn?1312956208 I read a little bit about chiari could cause hormone issues...but I've lost 23 lbs now and am 1 week late on my menstrual cycle when I never am and I have taken a couple pregnancy test that were negative...could the chiari do this? Has anyone had this experience or is this most likely another culprit?
Avatar f tn Hi im 18 can my GP offer a hormone test as i feel i have a hormone balance or is this something you have to buy like a kit (i also have an under active thyroid)
Avatar f tn I am having some gynae issues (2nd episode - last was a year ago) - periods suddenly stopped out of the blue, bloating, pelvic pain, especially in the right ovary area and causing mild sciatica and feeling slightly nauseous and damp forehead. I have a green discharge, non-odorous, no bleeding, no itching, urinary urgency (kind of normal for me but worse than normal - no pain when I pee).
Avatar f tn I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I found out I have thyroid issues ... my levels where to high ... anyone else pregnant and have the same problem .... and any advice or things to know or be prepared for in the future ... thanks in advance!!!!!
Avatar f tn Ok, I've been spending my first couple days on this forum over in the anxiety section as I've had anxiety/panic issues for 16 years, but recently I've been having some different issues that are leading me to think that they are not caused by anxiety alone.
Avatar f tn I'm 57 now. For 20 yrs. I've had numerous health issues beginning with strange pain, weakness, and just number of different things. I knew the doctors would have thought me crazy except I had a white blood cell count of over 23k. After 6 different specialist and a pic line for 2 months giving me antibiotics, it finally stabilized at 13 and it was stopped. Five weeks later it was 22k. Finally, after going to Texas after a severe flair up, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
Avatar n tn Hi to cure my acne and hair growth my dermatologist recommends to use a hormone pill (sponalactaid i think?) to reduce my high testoterone level. My mother had breast cancer because of hormone pills so I refuse to take it. Instead, I researched ways to lower testosterone "naturally" and came across an herbal supplement called Macafem which claims to affect the pituatry gland to make the hormones produced more "balanced" Anyone heard of this and is this true?
Avatar f tn If you are on synthetic, maybe a change to a dessicated hormone would also be what your body may need? Many of your symptoms sound like issues of having an imbalance of some sort with your thyroid hormone levels. Get the book Over Coming Thyroid Disorders by Dr. David Brownstein on Amazon. com. It was a great help to me with understanding and correcting issues with my daughter. I know it will help you too! Good luck and God Bless!
1306714 tn?1327257080 No I didn't have balance issues. My daugheter is letting me know she will go to my next appt. on the 21 of june. She takes such good care of me.
Avatar f tn that was my original thought as well, but i have had my thyroid tested multiple times and so far the results haven’t come back with any issues.
Avatar m tn I am still in limbo and haven't yet been diagnosed with anything but balance is one of my biggest issues. In fact, when my eyes are closed I visibly sway, primarily to the left, but really all directions, so I can relate to what you are experiencing! It is very unsettling and has kept me from going out where there isn't something to hold onto ( shopping cart/husband's hand, etc). I was just recently referred to a balance and dizzy center where they have done 1 of 3 assessments...
Avatar f tn My second flare, which occurred long before my diagnosis, was vertigo exactly like you describe. No balance issues, just constant room-spinning sensation. It was HORRIBLE, and I banned myself from driving for about a week because of it. It just makes it impossible to stay oriented in space when moving your head, and when driving, you constantly have to turn your head. Since it was before my diagnosis, I had no treatment for that flareo. Still, it resolved itself completely in about 3 weeks.
Avatar f tn He said I needed to see a different neurosurgeon that specialized in this type of shunting. The only issues I have had since my last surgery is the in-balance where i will walk and if I start looking in different direction I lose my balance. I do not have any issues with nausea or vomitting or incontinence as I have read about in posts. I did have bacterial meningitis during the time of my third surgery because of infection.
1431734 tn?1421011671 I am not sure about balance issues but I never was quite as clumsy as after the last go around with pegasys. I think it may possibly be related but just not sure.
Avatar f tn a goiter is from a imbalance in your thryoid hormone BUT what causes the imbalance exactly. I have heard iodine, is there anything else. Also has anyone been successful in naturally treating a goiter or even see a goiter disappear! Thanks!
