I'm 17 I was on the depot shot for about 9 months, I've been off it for almost a year. I haven't had a period in at least 2 months. The symptoms appear to have a hormonal component to it and if the complete hormone profile has been ok, and you have completed your family then the best thing to do would be go for depot shots after consulting a gynecologist. If you have not completed your family, please plan for a pregnancy and thereafter go for the depot method to control the symptoms. I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor.
