I am 28 years old and have had terrible acne since I was beginning puberty around the age of 13. I had tried everything even Accutane which worked for a few months but its now back. I have recently within the past 4 years discovered I have Endometriosis and have concluded that the acne is primarily cause by the crazy hormone levels. I break out mostly on my chin and jaw line. Very seldom on my cheeks and forehead.
I am experience a severe acne breakout on my forehead which is now very oily. It is mainly across the forehead, on my eyebrows, in between my eyebrows and on my temples. My feet are sometimes very warm or tingly toes or both. I also noticed a mustache, and one hair growing in my chin. I’ve never had acne issues let alone oily skin. This all happened in the past 4 months and keeps getting worst. In May I took a morning after pill, and I also took another earlier January and last year October.
I am beginning to wonder if this condition is due to something more serious going on with my body or if it is perhaps hormonal. Please help me if you can. It is so embarassing to have to walk around with my face like this.

I tend to have pimples and boils on my face. The boils appear on my forehead and cheeks. They are not painful or itchy but simple swellings and they come in clusters. Few days back i massaged my face with olive oil but i got rashes on my face> how do i treat it. My otherwise health is good but overweight. What do i do to clear my skin because these problems recur regularly. Mine is a normal skin.
Need some advice... I'm 32 years old and I've been diagnosed with papulopustular Rosacea a year ago.. Nothing really helped (antibiotics, metro cream, noritate, elides..) until I tried soolantra cream which cleared my forehead, nose and cheeks and almost all of my chin.

For the last few months, I have been getting what looks like small reddish/flesh color pimples on my only my forehead. All over my forehead, up to maybe 25? Generally worse after I shower (reddish) then they fade more towards skin color and are less noticeable, but still noticeable.
Wasn't scaly at first but have noticed my skin drying up and starting to flake. However, I don't recall if that was the case before I started scrubbing my forehead with soap and water like a mad man.
Approximately 3 months ago I was in Asia and had sex (vaginal, no oral) with a girl there. On my way home I developed an acne like rash on my forehead which I ignored for a few weeks thinking it would go away. When it didn't, I started to worry that it is herpes. I made an appointment with my doctor but got impatient waiting a week to see him and went to urgent care. The nurse practitioner there insisted that it isn't herpes, told me I have acne and gave me antibiotics.
I have tiny blisters that form a line on my forehead. It looks like a scratch but when I look close theres like 5,6 little blisters. Its not very painful I just assumed it was just a scratch then went to bed thinking itd go away but it looked worse in the morning. I got the same lesion on my chin a few weeks ago and dismissed it thinking it was razor burn but now I'm worried...could this be shingles?
return to your dermatologist for further evaluation. this isn't herpes .
He started me with acanya and then gave epiduo a try (acne became bad on my forehead). Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo. i did for another month and nothing happened. He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days.
Sorry grace, but that was my whole reason for asking b/c it looks nothing like the acne he has on his face at all! A nurse stated that it may be a spider bite which is possible as well. I will just take him to the doctor, but thanks for trying...
If you research you will find out that herpes will come in the form of an "acne '' like blister, and rashes as well.
I have battled with acne forever! I too hate using lotion on my face, but they do make moisturizer for acne and oily skin. I use Clinique and I like it a lot. Also try an exfoliating ance cleanser to get the flakes off. Also I have found that when I dry my face with a clean wash rag every night it makes a difference as opposed to using the same one a few night in a row. Good luck! OH! And going to see a dermatologist is a really good idea.
When I suffer from these breakouts, I mostly get VERY itchy red bumps on my forehead, my cheeks and whiteheads on the sides of my nose. I try not to touch them other than when I am cleansing (mild facial cleanser [Kiehls' brand]), or applying moisturizer (Nivea for men). I am not doing anything new in terms of grooming habits or using new products, and these outbreaks remain a mystery. I tried applying OTC benzoyle peroxide the last time I had an outbreak, but it did no good.
I have had the diagnosis of seb derm for about two years now and have mild to moderate acne, mainly on the forehead region. I have had problems from impetigo to oozing sores on my forehead. Dermatologist I have been seeing ( I switched to a new dermatologist thinking there would be a difference) have given me several facial washes and ointments. This has given me more relief for the seb derm that covered all my t-zone and nose to small little manageable patches.
Mostly my cheeks though, and it extends to my neck and ears. I do have a history of mild acne which has occurred on my forehead and chin but nothing to this extent. I'm dark skinned, or more like tanned so when i get acne i do have hyperpigmentation. Would cortisone help? If not is there any medication you could suggest.
Your eating habits should not have a direct effect on acne, since acne is caused by bacteria and hormonal fluctuations affect it. Yes, some foods MAY trigger an attack in some people, but I'm yet to see this in my case.
Sometimes our skin gets used to certain topical medicines. If that's the case, the doctor will change it for you or combine it with other meds.
