I had one towards the end of my pregnancy. I bought monistat 3 inserts at walgreens. It started working right away! A home remedy is plain yogurt!

So, I'm in my first trimester and pregnancy is already making me experience the wonderful world of yeast infections. I went to the doctor to make sure it is indeed a yeast infection and it is. He didn't prescribe me anything because he said it's too early and to wait until the second trimester, but I've heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. Unfortunately some women are prone to recurrent yeast infections during pregnancy. Unless your doctor has told you specific OTC brands of yeast medication that are safe to use it is NOT adviseable to use OTC remedies as not all of them are safe. You really need to see you obgyn to get a prescription for something that can help knock this out instead of just making it become dormant for a short period of time.

there are no really safe and common home remedies! i just got rid of a yeast infection. you can go to walmart and get a treatment kit for less than 10 bucks. there are tons of websites online for you to read about yeast infections.

Yeast Infections of the ears are almost always related to FOOD.....You must clear the initial infection up, then get ALL GRAINS out of anything you feed......A good probiotic (Human form or Dog form ) will also help....

Omg nooooo I hope NOT. If so, This will be my 3rd yeast infection in about a month. First time it was a yeast infection and BV. Doctor believes the 2nd yeast infection came from the antibiotic for BV. I just feel like I'm getting the symptoms again and I really hope not. This can't be healthy for me or my baby. I also take the pill for yeast infections, and I know that the pill stays in your system for 7 days, so that means that even though you see things (like the white around your vagina) it is still working.. so dont lose hope yet. If after the 7 days you STILL have that... then I"d call your doctor.. and make sure that you do not (if you already do) have any contact with anyone sexually because that can make it worse. You need to heal down there.

There are over the counter remedies for yeast infections. Are you certain it's a yeast infection. I understand you covering up in front of the parents about your sexual activity. However people can get yeast infections & it doesn't have to mean anything sexual. Incorrectly wiping, called back to front is the main cause of yeast infections. Natural Balance is a possibility but it is quite a bit more money (although it is one of my first choices for allergy formulas), $60-70 a bag vs $55 for the acana. There is no lamb in the beneful and as far as I know that is the only food he has ever been on. I did try a 10mg of reactine (found a couple pubmed studies that used that one since that is the one I had on hand for me) and has done nothing so far.
