Common Questions and Answers about Home rehab insurance

rehab

Avatar n tn I am scared, have been thrown out of my home and am losing both my girls. Pregant, no home and need to get back into treatment asap. My question is, does anyone know what the process would be being as I am pregnant? I have state insurance and it paid for my last treatment, but the places aren't that great. I am assuming I am going to be there for a while. Are there rehabs that you can go to if you have no insurance? Does anyone know of any really good ones?

Avatar m tn why is that? he does not have insurance, and SSI is working on his case? is rehab only for thse with insurance? is there anything i can do, or what other options are there?
Avatar f tn I have a pretty good insurance policy. I have been through state funded rehab for meth in 2003. The place was quite slumish but I did what I had to do. Now however life is quite different. I was sober for 7 years and became addicted to painkillers 4 years ago. It started with the Lortab and now 6 months ago added Adderall into the mix. I am overwhelmed by the kids sports, mowing and weed eating 5 acres, cleaning a large home, and no help from the kids and husband.
Avatar f tn Hey all, well i did it, little over 30 days clean and home from rehab. It feels great to be home and back in the swing of things. I am feeling and doing great and last night was the first night i actually slept, i am finally starting to feel good and its a great feeling. I have allot of work to do making amends with the hubby but over all its going great. I already visited my therapist at home and i will be seeing her 2 times a week.
1511199 tn?1292701545 I loved my rehab! I always thought that going to rehab would be THE END, something to be avoided at ALL COSTS. I was so wrong, it turned out to be exactly what I needed and it was the beginning of life, not the end. I see your from MD. There are lots of great rehabs close to you. I know several people who went to Father Martin's Ashley, which is in Havre de Grace (http://www.fathermartinsashley.com/).
1318483 tn?1318347182 Coming to rehab was the best thing that could have happened to me. I truly am thankful for crossing paths with my new pump nurse and grateful for her swiftness in getting me in here. I have physical, occupational and speech therapy every day. This makes for a long day but very much worth it. I see improvement every single day. This hospital has the most caring, compassionate and outgoing staff I have ever seen in my life. You cannot help being optimistic here.
Avatar m tn She finally admitted that she was hooked and needed help. We got her into a rehab center to hopefully get off them, so we can save our marriage. It is just as hard on me with her not being here becasue she is my best friend and we had our routine of drinking coffee and talking about anything that we want, and it was so depressing to wake up and not see my best friend laying next to me. I was wondering what it is like in rehab.
Avatar f tn Hey BooBoo, i'm sorry that you're having difficulty finding a rehab that will take you. Have you talked to your family physician.? perhaps they can help. you find a place. You are 17, when is your birthday? Can you find an out of state rehab that will take you when you turn 18? If your under your parent's insurance, perhaps they have info.as many employers have a person working in administration that handles problems with addiction for employees and their family members.
Avatar f tn I have been reading this subject here for over a year since I knew I needed to stop taking Norco. I also had physical therapy and 3 injections after a neck injury 3 yrs ago which I lost the use of my right arm. I'm 58 and I had taken pain meds throughout my life without any need for long term until this injury and a major life change.
Avatar f tn My mom suffered a stroke and is currently in a rehab facility. They plan to release her in a few days but we would like to get additional inpatient therapy approved. She has done well and think with quality therapy she can return to being mostly self sufficient. Is there anyone with recommendations or resources for getting this approved? We understand it is an insurance issue but we might be willing to pay out of pocket for additional days for her. She will need 24/7 care at this time.
Avatar f tn After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?
Avatar m tn i have insurance.. im just gonna call every rehab in NY 2morrow and see if ne will accept me..
Avatar n tn I've been taking Vicodin ES for 4 years and have progressed to 15 a day. I have severe back pain and it seems to be the only thing that works. Not only am I taking it for pain I am taking it to get through the day. I can't get out of bed without it. And I take them all day to even go to the stores, cook dinner, and socialize. I'm scared to quit cold turkey as I have ran out before and went through terrible pain, depression. and could not get out of bed.
Avatar n tn we have empire blue cross/blue sheild insurance. he now needs to go to cardio rehab blue cross says they will pay for 36 visits. we set up an appointment only to have it canceled because healthline states he needs a stress test. wednesday he went for a nuclear stress test (3 hours) and became ill and we stopped the procedure. healthline will still not allow him to go to rehab until he gets a stress test. is this standard procedure. it is now 5/23 and no rehab.
Avatar n tn But, IMO, yes, you absolutely should get a second opinion. And, if you have insurance or can find a way to afford it, get your husband out of a skilled nursing facility and into an acute or post-acute care rehab facility, preferably one that specializes in brain injuries. My husband had a severe stroke in August and is currently in a neurorehab.
Avatar n tn Hi-- I just learned that my husband is addicted to vicodin. He is ready to get help. We live in California and don't have health insurance. We've called a few programs and are waiting to hear from them. I need advice please.
723959 tn?1314744225 Well, I am waiting to hear back from lakeview rehab center in florida, to see if my insurance will cover 6 weeks of treatment. One of my problems is that my family has hurt me so bad. I am 30 years old and it is still going, my story is very long. But i feel that the mental pain i go threw daily from them, put me in the situation that i am in now. WHat is rehab going to be like?
Avatar f tn if my man was fortunate enough to be in rehab, there is no way i would allow him to come home until he has the doctors convinced that he has a chance. if he returns to the same envirionment that he aquired his addiction from, the olook seems to me to be bleak. forgive me for saying that.i really do care, you have reached out to me and i would like in some way to help you.be good to all. stick to your guns. an effort is worthless unless it winds up being successfull in the LONG RUN.
Avatar m tn I can not get off and about 2 months ago I started shooting them. I called a rehab yesterday and made a appointment, went in and was told they could not help me because i was not abusing them. If 6 80s a day is not abuse i don't know what is. There is hardly a doctor in the world that will wright 180 and 180. I am 34 years old with a wonderful wife and two beautiful children. They need me. Please if any one has any suggestions on what i can do PLEASE let me know.
7928796 tn?1396351929 If you want home birth do not call your insurance... they'll red flag you. I used a third party (Larsen Billing) and it cost me $20 but they code everything so insurance pays. My insurance online provider search gave me in network options that were actually covered 100% for certain midwives, but bc I chose out of network my insurance is paying 75%, still not too terribly bad. I absolutely adore my midwife. She's absolutely wonderful!
Avatar f tn I'd love to do a home birth but my insurance doesn't cover it so it's not happening lol but my auntie had 3 successful home births, the last was just last year. She absolutely loved it and wouldn't give birth any other way. They only let you do it if your pregnancy is low risk and midwives are experts at delivering babies and keeping you calm and comfortable during labor.
