Do we have stress because our thyroid is messed up or does stress cause the thyroid to act up? Which causes which? Is there a way to prevent one from causing the other without medication or removing oneself to a deserted island?

I just received my test results back for a herpes test and wanted some clarification on a few things. It's Saturday and I can't call my gyno. The results are as follows: Herpes Simplex IgM Ab- Positive A HSV Igm Ab Titer- 1:20 A HSV 1 IgG Ab- >5.00 HSV 2 IgG- <.90 HSV 2 IgM- Positive Ok, so my HSV 2 IgG is negative, yet my IgM is positive. Could my HSV 2 IgM be positive from the HSV 1?

My levels are stabilizing, but I insisted that I be upped a bit on my synthroid (175 mcg now). My Dr. argued with me for 5 mins, saying my lack of weight loss is "stress" and that I "haven't given yourself time to completely stabilize on the meds". I'm not stressed, or I admitted that I don't ~feel~ stressed..but he is correct that I haven't given things enough time (TT was this past Dec, 3)..

I visited urologist one month after exposure, I inform him about symtom without discussing exposure I had. he did urine test for me checking out for any infection I had where my lab test come clear from any bacteria.. 3 weeks back when symtom persist, I start search internet for more causes where I come across herpes HSV-2 and my worries become more serious!! 1. Two weeks later I started feeling the burning and had one single blister on the foreskin but the burning was continues for two weeks. Went to the doctor and he ordered for all STD check. All other test negative. But my HSV-1 count is 44 and HSV-2 count < 0.
