hiv

You do not have an HIV concern.
t know whether it looks anything like hiv related rash or is it just some irritation on my skin?i have uploaded picture on my profile of the rash, if you could have a look and tell me your opinion, i would highly appreciate it.
I mean this could be anxiety but i just want to make sure. Does anyone know if this is what HIV rash looks like? I saw pictures of KS and it looks nothing like that, but do these sound like anyting i should be worried about? I am going to get tested this week to hopefully ease my mind, but I just want to assure myself that I am not positive before i go.

IN the last 5 weeks or so, I have had every single HIV symptom that I found online. Except fever. So, I have this rash, sore-real red throat, and some canker sores and white film on my tongue. Is this HIV?
Hi, I have a question related to HIV rash, and HIV in general. In the period of last four months, I had unprotected oral sex twice with two partners (I was the one giving oral sex). First one was before 4 months, and the second 4 weeks ago. Im not sure how long after the first sex I had fever 39´C and throat problems, I went to see my doctor, he said I had strong sinuses problems and otitis media and gave me penicillin shots.
1) No, rash is never the only symptom of HIV/ARS; and ARS rash does not come and go. 2) Almost zero chance and no, your symptoms do not suggest HIV. 3) A large number of medical conditions, mostly not serious at all, could cause such symptoms. 4) People may or may not have symptoms. Yours don't suggest HIV. 5) Most people with new HIV infection get symptoms.
I have all the classic HIV symptoms but do not have HIV or AIDS... any suggestions?
Before I address your personal concerns, let me also emphasize that the internet is sometimes not a good place to seek information about HIV or, for that matter, other health symptoms. The symptoms of HIV, like those of many other illnesses, are share by many other health problems. Health care providers go to school for long periods of time to learn how to best put the variety of symptoms and signs that each person has to generate an accurate diagnosis.
I had unprotected sex about 6 months ago, I never received a chancre at all but i have been getting a rash over my arm for the past few weeks. It comes and goes but does not itch. Is this a sign of syphilis? Also if not what does the Syphilis rash look like?
Often different sites and opinions don't distinguish clearly between a newly infected person's rash to an hiv rash later in hiv stages. Online pictures are often unclear as well. I'd actually say they're more unclear than the written information. I understand symptoms should never be used to diagnose and that's not my intention. Can a single raised/seemingly symmetric bump very closely resembling an early acne bump suggest accute hiv infection? Can several of these suggest it?
Dear Doctors, I cannot remember any particular exposure to HIV but I am worried because on the internet I saw a picture of ARS rash that looks alot like a rash I have had for quite a while. I realise that symptoms are never a reliable indicator of HIV but nonetheless, I would REALLY appreciate it if you would kindly answer the following questions: 1) Is it possible for ARS rash to persist for say, 6 months and then go and come back? Or is it ALWAYS just a two thing that goes away?
yes, im not interested in my risk, Id like to know if hiv rash is similar to hives , if does itchy , and if it has those characteristics, looks internet is full of screenshots of different kinds of rashes and some pictures that are used to show different types are related to hiv also, so I want to know what info is correct... its for information purposes Hiv rash does look like those from the picture or NOT?
I used cortizone just once and it went away but it came back today. At the same time of scrotum burning a line of rash(does not hurt) appear below my shaft. Also, my tip looked like if I had lips (literally). I don't have pain urinating, or any other pains/symptoms related to herpes. Psychologically I'm very distress and even dreaming that I wake up with holes and things like that on my penis. I came to the US for the summer and don't have insurance.
sorry if i ask question in here... but do hiv rash comes along other symptoms... because i still have this rash in my arm...
You can ask the woman to be tested which should give you some confort if the result is negative. But test at 3 months for you. We don't look at pictures. We nor do Dr's ever use symptoms to diagnosis HIV.
Hey there, Im just going to tell you the going on your FACTS! ARS symptoms happen 2-6 week post infecton! HIV tests are conclusive 3 months after possible infection! you had an HIV test 8 MONTHS after possible exposure! therefore you are NEGATIVE!!! TIME TO MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE! these other problems that you are having are NOT HIV related!!!
I am tired but still work. I feel sleepy sometimes. Do my symptoms support a risk for HIV ARS? Prior to the escort I had an earache begin on an airline flight that took forever to clear up. I took antibiotics and chinese herbs. I have never had anal sex or given felatio.
And, for last, could somebody tell me how to find detailed pictures or descriptions of the Primary HIV Infection rash on the net? Thank you very much for your help and informations, thank you. Take care.
I last had an hiv exam in 2008, since then I have had one sexual partner(unprotected sex 3 times). I have no reason to conclude she is in a high risk group such as bi-sexual or a drug user. About 2-3 months after the last encounter I had a very harsh surgery which involved breaking some bones and being out of action for over a month. During this time I remember having a sore throat( I thought it was from the tube the doctors used down my throat), and I remember running a fever for a while.
In addition if your symptoms had anything to do with HIV your test would be showing as positive or indeterminant not non reactive (negative) which is what you got. So your symptoms are not related to exposure to HIV, if you had one.
Does the labcorp ICMA test detect HIV-2 in early exposure as effective as HIV-1? Should I go get a HIV-1 again AND a HIV-2 PCR test from labcorp? I'm to the point where money doesn't matter. I want my life back. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
1) I read that there is a 30% chance of babies getting HIV from mothers during birth and a larger % after because of breast feeding, etc. If a child has HIV (from infancy), when will the symptoms show up? Is it the same as a grown up HIV+? What is the life span of a child with HIV? Will they reach 6 years old without symptoms without medication? 2) If I get HIV+ from the girl I fooled around, what are the chances of passing it to my 2nd ex-girlfriend?

During the fever i got night sweats really bad, now i am still waking up sweating not as bad, but everytime i do it scares me and i cant get back to sleep. I have what i am assuming is razor burn on my legs but in my mind it is a hiv rash. I always have small pimples on my body but now am thinking their due to hiv. I had the guy in question go get tested. He hasnt used anything in needle form since june 1st, and got tested october 1st, he tested negative with the oral rapid test.
and the large majority of CSWs in Singapore don't have HIV anyway. Your symptoms are not typical for HIV anyway, and an ophthalmologist has already examined you and given you a diagnosis unrelated to HIV. In any case, HIV test results always overrule symptoms and exposure history, so even if you had had a substantial exposure or typical symptoms, your negative test results prove you didn't catch HIV. Ten weeks is always sufficient time for reliable testing.
Hey Doc, Ok so here's my story....I did something stupid and had sex with a commercial sex worker about 3 months ago. It was protected, but I had a slight rash around the base of the penis at the time (I believe it was jock itch) so I am leaning to believe vaginal fluids could have possibly entered my body that way. Anyway, I have not experienced any flu-like ARS symptoms such as fever or night sweats but just recently, I have gotten a maculopapular rash on my entire back.
You have already been advised and been told that "HIV rash" or HIV symptoms in general are NOT useful indicators to diagnose infection. There are no "pictures of actual HIV rash" because it varies in everyone, if they even get symptoms at all.
Right around the time I got a sore throat I got a rash. It was pink-reddish and small spots, and mostly on my chest, some on my shoulders. I have pictures of the rash which I will put links to on the bottom. The rash itself does not really have to many whiteheads, although there are a few, very very tiny whiteheads. For the most part it is pink-reddish and is non itchy and seems to be coming and going in some spots.
