Well, it seems like there is no other cause than genes to this (probably), but since I really dont like being this underweight, are there any drugs that could help me gain weight (in other words eat more/ slow metabolism). Like some steroids or something? Again, I have tried the "eat more" thing, but it doesnt seem to work very well. At first I do gain weight, but I get pretty bad diarrhea ETC. from eating too much.

i just got my second test back confirming i'm hiv pos.My question is about the drugs and there side effects ,and how far they have come along. The internet has a annoying way of looking at all the worst case sanarios so im trying to stay off all the different sites written by who knows.

Hello I was reading a question the other day about if someone can get HIV from sniffing a powder into their lungs along with the possibility of inhaling some's blood that could be infected with HIV within the said powder/cocaine in this example. As silly as the question sounds, to some people this is a legitimate concern. Maybe the person whom they were with was snorting the drug with them and was HIV positive and had a cold, and maybe later coughed up blood.

Hello, Im writing again, this time in the HIV/AIDS section, and hopefully someone will respond now that I am moving to this community. Just about a month ago, I recieved/gave uprotected oral to/from a girl of unknown STD/HIV status. Afterward, I found out that she had been doing heavy drug usage and needles as well. She ended up going to a rehab center which required her to test blood, and later the tests came up negative for everything but herpes.
