But you wont accept as CDC says "Unprotected oral sex can also be a risk for HIV transmission, but it is a much lower risk than anal or vaginal sex." Even though low risk, testing is essential or not?

We recommend the 4th generation DUO test 28 days post exposure and a confirmatory test at 12 weeks for a 100% conclusive result. Your doctor goes by different guidelines. Perhaps you should ask him why he thinks so many experts are wrong.

Avatar m tn So based on the info you read in her obit, that she requested donations to be made to a hospice and AIDS project, you have concluded that she was indeed HIV+ and died of AIDS? Wow, thats sum conclusion. More likely however, is that in the intervening years she either became involved, as a volunteer or knew someone who had passed away to an AIDS related illness and decided that instead of flowers she would want people to make a donation to said hospice\AIDS project.

Why is hcv different then any other virus? I don't mean to be annoying I'm just a bit nervous and I keep coming back to this logic if one virus can cause delayed seroconversion why not another?

Avatar n tn two of them i did not use condom and one i did.. after which i watched documentaries about hiv/aids and i was afraid.. i asked the three of them and they told me they are 200% sure safe because they do have annual check-up.. i want to have myself checked to be sure but all of the write-ups im reading about hiv/aids said that it should be 3 months after the last contact.. im afraid because im have colds now and i felt like i have fever but when i checked it with a thermometer its normal..

I moved on from this even thought I have not been feeling unwell ever since, I figured residual anxiety, depression, ect. My problems are the following symptoms: -purple blotches in the form of a lesion formed on my forehead, separate ones, one of them very large and spanning from almost the whole left side of my temple.
