I am moving to MO in the latter part of the year and was wondering whether there are any world-class eye institutes there? I will likely be living midway between St Louis

I wish I would have done the leg work when my husband had a hemorrhagic stroke in July. I live in a small city and the rehab center was a nightmare. It wasn't only my husband but I feel that many of the patients weren't taken care of. Whenever someone would push the nurse button it would take them forever to get there. My husband had some bad experiences there and I pray that he'll never have to go back there for anything.

I'm okay with the bigger city. It doesn't matter to me either way. It's my grandma and family that I miss. I moved a thousand miles away and never see them.
There must be a mental health clinic in your area -- look it up in the phone book. They can refer you to a treatment center at little or no cost to you. You must try to get help. If necessary, you can even call 911 -- explain it is not a true emergency, but you do need a referral to mental health resources in your area. Depending on your ability to pay, you will probably receive financial assistance for your treatment.

Can small cortical cataracts cause ghosting an/or blurred vision to be MUCH worse in contact lenses than glasses?
I am from Kansas City, positive for Lyme and other coinfections and just now looked up Lyme here on MedHelp and I just saw your note. If you have not already found a good Lyme Literate Dr, ( and I only found 2 in the whole KC area, then call the Olathe Lyme and Other Diseases Clinic in Overland Park, Ks. The only other LLMD I found is in Columbia, Missouri and his wait list is 1-2 years for an appt..
I started treatment in Oct. 2015, and then I moved to Oregon.
I was the first one in Kansas City,Mo and was selected for the 12 week study. After 4 weeks, the HCV was undetected. I had minimal side effects...some nausea, slight headaches and that's about it. I go back on May 1st for my post followup and it's very promising. The Dr thinks that after some time, my liver will repair itself. I was between stage 3-4 liver cirosis.
