So I tend to eat alot of food, usually not very healthy food, to keep my energy up during the course of the day. If you want to try it..try 1/2 of it at first to see how you respond. Start eating well as you taper. You will probably not want to eat much the further you get into the taper..tummy problems...so get some good foods in you now. Bananas, fruit, watermelon (hydration), protein.

Figured I would supplement as I was trying to gain a few pounds (6'1", 155lb). Also added in some eggs. Didn't realize too much protein may cause stones. Xray revealed no stones, trace amount of blood in urine. Anyway, while I'm at the office, I ask if she can check my potassium, magnesium and iron levels and reminded her of my pvcs.

Avatar n tn Try more Fiber. Fiber bars is what I use. Have a fiber cereal and or bar and eat a piece of fruit. Stay away from high carbs, they will make hunger return quicker. And allow the fiber you eat a chance to swell in stomach... Protein is another thing. Like a shake with your fiber bar. Just a suggestion. Hope it helps.

Its origins are unknown, though, so it may not in fact have originated in a country on the Mediterranean. On the other hand, I don't think any of the foods you mentioned will increase energy necessarily. You're assuming the poster has blood sugar problems.
