Finally one can resort of hair transplantation also. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn I suffer from high "protein in urine" or high creatinine levels, now it's 2.4, but it was higher. I reccommend you read Dr. Walser's book on a low-protein, low-phoshorus diet to avoid dialysis. Your kidney doctor will probably tell you to go on a low-protein diet, but won't give you specifics. Dr. Walser's book explains the diet. It's rather hard diet to stick with, but beats the alternative.

683233 tn?1226717787 , and by eating dark green, leafy veggies, and nuts, you can get all the protein you need. Eating meat to get protein is in my opinion, not good, as the meat often has steroids, and growth hormons (which is what helps people get big muscles). By eating "dead foods", we are slowly killing ourselves. Our hair turns gray, we turn weak, get deseases, die of heart attacks, heart disease, and die early. Try eating lots of veggies, nuts, fruits, and lots and lots of water!

1990784 tn?1331871778 s more difficult to maintain adequate levels of protein, esp. if you were jumping from a high level, which I believe you were Mike. Am I right about that? I didn't have the lack of protein problem, but I was on a pretty low dose of hydro. It may also depend on what you're detoxing from and how long you've been on it - different medications deplete more necessary vitamins, minerals and amino acids than others. Just my thoughts.

The initial complaint that I brought to my doctor was experiencing hair growth on my face, excess hair growth on my arms/legs/bikini, and hair loss on my head. Avatar f tn I typically run high protein and have perfect uneventful pregnancies otherwise. (Just delivered Thurs). There can be many factors, but for me it was just my diet. In general I am a big meat, bean, all around protein eater and my body stores it longer, or digests it slower. So they will just watch and make sure it isnt something else causing it and if it levels out they'll make sure it isnt causing any other issues.
Avatar m tn Hi, Hair growth is affected by several factors including genetics, hormones, environment and diet. In your case, as one grows, the hair undergoes several phases of hair growth. Through these phases, several factors lead to changes in the rate of growth and appearance. In your family, is brownish or light colored hair more predominant? Have you been taking any supplement or medications? Diet may play a role in hair growth and development.
