high estrogen levels

it was my estrogen levels that are high. so what i was wondering was if anybody knew if by me having high estrogen levels, is that going to be an issue for the IVF procedure? i dont know if that's going to affect my ability to have a successful IVF procedure. has anybody else been diagnosed with high estrogen but had a successful IVF?

I was about to start my fourth month of clomid tonight but just got my blood test results back. The nurse told me that my estrogen levels are a bit too high and that I should NOT take my clomid this month. Today is my cd 5 and my estrogen level is 162. Can anyone help me to understand what this means and why can I not do clomid this cycle? I am trying to conceive my first child and am very confused.

I also do not have ovaries but I take estrogen. When my estrogen level gets rather high, my FSH is low (in the range of a menstruating woman). When my estrogen is on the lower side, my FSH rises.

hello ladies, i just had my day 3 labs done ,and come to find out that my estrogen levels are extremly low, lt was 16. my obgyn told me not to worry about this and we would try clomid. ( which i know i dont have problems ovulating. i have been reading and i believe that estrogen plays a very important role in conceiving! am i wrong? do levels get higher throughout your cycle? has anyone had troubles conceiving with low levels? . can someone take estrogen supplements?

I use CBFM and I collect the sticks even after I get peak and final high I keep testing so I can read the sticks myself to see how my estrogen levels are doing. My estrogen readings from first high day are pale blue. (the paler they are the higher the estrogen levels) This month the levels have gone slightly darker from day7 past ovulation. I am on day 8dpo today. So this means that my estrogen levels are lower than they were at time of ovulation.

I am on Day 6 of FSH, and on the ultrasound today, it showed a 11mm follicle on my left and a 12mm follicle on my right with other small ones. However my estorgen levels have come back really high at 928. Has anyone had this same experience? They are talking about me triggering on Thursday but I am worried it might be too early. Has anyone else suffered from high Prolactin and if so, did your estrogen levels return to normal with treatment? Did you begin to ovulate again? Anything I should be aware of through the diagnostic process? My biggest fear is that I will never have children. Something, the only thing, that I have always known I wanted in life. I have read that high estrogen levels can cause "bad" eggs. We recently completed our first IVF cycle that resulted in a pregnancy but I m/c between 6-7 weeks. My RE did not have much info on why it happened. My Estrogen was 7800 at the time of retrieval, which I know is high. Can high estrogen levels cause my eggs to be bad and in turn result in the m/c?

16 is a high enough level for them to implant. With this pregnancy my prog level was only an 11 and that was taken at 14dpo. Doc did put me on 400mg prometrium until I was 12 weeks along. I am now 22 weeks and all is well. Good Luck!

I think i have found that high prolactin usually goes hand in hand with high estrogen, and high estrogen can cause fibroids. I am 30 and facing needing a hysterectomy due to 4 LARGE fibroids which the docs keep telling me, "some people just grow them" without really ever checking any further. t I have low levels of estrogen, but I have endometriosis? Where is the estrogen coming from and can I have high levels of FSH/LH at midcycle when I ovulate? Can cysts produce hormone? After the miscarriage the doctor removed the large cyst from my ovary and told me he found endometriosis. I transferred 2 5day blasts and now I am 6dpt and have questions. At 3dpt my estrogen was 308, prog over 20, and beta 4.3. I started vivelle patch and estrogen tabs, also needed an HCG booster 1/2cc. Today, I'm 6dpt and my bloodwork results were estrogen 1623, prog over 20, and HCG 86. I know my HCG is high because of the booster but does anyone have any idea how much it would have increased?

I found out i have high cortisol levels form blood work. A Dr. in emerg called my house to tell me my thyriod hormone was a little low and said he'd fax something to my family Dr. My family docotor said it was fine. Low thyroid hormone is a consideration since there is family history of thyroid disease but high estrogen is a more likely cause in my opinion.
