Avatar f tn There is even something they call estrogen dominance and it is absolutely associated with frequent yeast infections. They may try to stabilize your hormones or get them in a little better balance.
Avatar f tn I'm 26, no I don't take birth controls. I'm not even sure how I got hormonal imbalance. My doctor said it's stress, and that my estrogen level is at 203. I'm not sure if that's high. My sex hormones I don't have it anymore either. I constantly keep getting yeast infections. And I have to keep seeing the doctor for fluconazole but it isn't working at all.
1142929 tn?1271622835 I'm 23, it started out like this: I used vinegar (I know bad idea!) but like not even diluted, like an idiot, and I pretty much scalded myself, but because I'm such a weirdo I thought that maybe the next day when I was so itchy that it was an STD from a guy I had just hooked up with, we didn't have sex but...well we almost did, there was skin contact...
Avatar f tn I have never had a yeast infection and I'm 49 years old. I'm extremely dry in the area but I've research the topic and I can't find where dryness and yeast infection go together. I'm assuming it does I've taken the pill today and I hope within 24 hours it will be somewhat better. Help !!?
Avatar f tn I know this emotional rollercoaster is normal but this is all steaming from this stupid dental infection and because of the antibiotics I have a yeast infection and I feel even lower.. I got the creme but can't shake that dirty feeling like I did something wrong. This is my first yeast infection in my life!
Avatar n tn Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I am 22 years old and have been dealing with on an off yeast infections for over a year. It all started out last March I got my first yeast infection and UTI at the same time from a Marathon, mind you I was a virgin at the time so it was not from sex. Following that I continued to get them on and off, after meeting my boyfriend and now being sexually active I get yeast infection every week.
Avatar n tn At this point I feel I am going back and forth between yeast infections and low estrogen symptoms. Needless to say I am losing my mind and am in agony. Any suggestions? OR home remedies? Baths? Anything would help.
Avatar f tn Maybe yeast infection? When I get a yeast infection sometimes the same thing happens to me when me and my bf have sex. Does it hurt when having sex? Or is your vagina itchy like on the outside? Those are all related to yeast infection too but I don't ever get those symptoms just the white stuff.
Avatar f tn Thanks for the information. My doctor didn't say anything about estrogen, so I wonder if that means my vaginal tissue is in good condition? I'm happy with the pessary she fit me with, it's difficult to remove, but that may become easier as I get accustomed to it (here's hoping!). I haven't had a yeast infection in almost 40 years (when I was pregnant) and just that one time; perhaps that's why she didn't suggest an acidifier.
Avatar f tn Only part I can answer is about the yeast infection. I had a yeast infection a week and half ago and was 1cm dilated and could still take the meds, it just feels weird putting it in since you're dilated.
Avatar f tn Up until around 8 months ago at this point I had never had a yeast infection. Then I noticed I was consistently itchy down there. I could not for the life of me figure out why but I ruled out a yeast infection because it wasn't unbearable itching and I had no discharge. Fast forward to now, I have had to cure 3 yeast infections with diflucan so far and they keep coming back. So, I'm starting to think it's my birth control.
Avatar f tn The last time I went was about 2 1/2 weeks ago because it was itchy, and dry, and the doctor took a swab and a couple of days later said it was yeast and I was given Terazale (I know I spelled that wrong)for a yeast infection. I started my period right after that and my period just ended two days ago. Today, I notice the creamy, thin, white discharge again.
Avatar n tn Sounds like maybe you could have a very bad yeast infection and if the blood is from your rectal area when you wipe that could be from hemorrhoids I would suggest maybe seeing a doctor to find out for sure if it is a yeast infection you could try eating some yogurt that may help
136956 tn?1688675680 I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Endometriosis with estrogen Dominance and I am on the pill continuously and have been for 4 yrs. During that 4 yrs I was not having sex and getting no symptoms, so it cant be the pill. Has anyone every experienced this?
Avatar n tn I have treated myself for a yeast infection cause I have had one within the last year and the symptoms where much alike. SInce then I have went to a medical clinic in which was perscribed more antibiotics for yeast infection. The also did another pregnancy test and negative. I booked a appointment with a gyno but not in till June. My spouse and I are wanting to conceive within the year and worried if I don't treat this I will not be able too.
Avatar f tn I wash my vagina correctly, I eat correctly, and I have even started eating yogurts thinking it may be a yeast infection. This strange discharge is uncomfortable, smells differently and is affecting my sex life. I now experience pain and discomfort during sex or have trouble getting “wet” while being aroused. What do I have? Or what is this? And what can I do to prevent this in the future? Please let me know how I can get everything back to normal with out telling me I have to see a Gyn.
Avatar f tn The other thought is that maybe it is fungal without being yeast per se. Estrogen levels go up and that is often linked to yeast and fungal overgrowth. I would try to change undies often, wear only cotton, let yourself air dry at night, eat or take a probiotic supplement or enhanced food (like yogurt or the drinks), and cut down on sugar. Your doctor is not wanting to treat you for a yeast infection? That itching must be a pain!
Avatar n tn About 11 months ago I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and low thyroid, so I am taking red rice yeast and .088 mg of Synthroid, then about 9 months ago I was diagnosed with low testosterone and was prescribed adrogel, which after reading the small print I decided not to use it. Six months ago I began getting depressed, re-evaluating life, ( 6 months from turning 50) and my self esteem began to drop and I have been in a downward spiral ever since.
Avatar m tn Another side of all this is extreme sensitivity to many foods. She recently had an endoscopy and found out she had a yeast infection in her esophagus. This is a condition normally found in people with suppressed immune systems, alcoholism, hiv, chemotherapy and after antibiotic use. None of these relate to her. She does have a significant problem with diarrhea, bloating, stomach pain and gas.
Avatar f tn It isn`t a yeast infection. It is menopause related,I am sure.I am just not sure if it will heal on it`s own.I am using a cortisone cream 2x a day.I was given the prescription a year ago and I used it for 3 months. It helped with the dryness, itchiness and thinning of the skin in the area.I was not dealing with an open lesion though.
Avatar f tn Your good it's just your body stretching hun I still itch and I'm 5 months lol you might have a yeast infection that's common in pregnancies I get them like crazy
1569575 tn?1314424059 Before I address my problem: I DO NOT HAVE A DOCTOR, nor will I find one. I will not pay hundreds of dollars I don't have just to confirm what I already know (and what else, get Diflucan to kill my liver? Yeah, sounds fun.) Early this morning, I started feeling itchy and puffy in my vulva area and I know without a doubt that it's a yeast infection. I went and got the Monistat 1-day thing that comes with the cream -- which my mom recommended to me (she said it ALWAYS worked for her).
Avatar n tn i was told the same thing and informed that i should try to change my diet...low sugar, low gluten, high in protien, and high in fiber...it helped a ton. I started taking grape seed extract nightly to help prevent yeast infections...and i also take a probiotic 3 times a day that has at least 3 million live bactria in it...
Avatar n tn try besides the cream the actual suppostory that goes inside you, this should help ,, also with some women me included alot of yeast can be caused by eating bread, foods that have yeast in them will also cause yeast infections,, so i know for myself i have to watch what i eat as to how much yeast products i eat.. makes a big difference.. but its best to see a doctor just to be on the safe side..
Avatar f tn Also, would a yeast infection cause a slightly high temp. or is it only possible for your temp. to be elavated with a bacterial infection?
