Avatar m tn Well off and on over the past years I get pain in my right testicle still. Any pressure over my surgery repair, and I can feel pain in my right testicle. It still bothers me, but I workout, run, lift all through the pain. It just seems to close to my body, like something healed in the wrong place.
Avatar m tn s becoming worse. it just started two weeks ago. the pain that i have is in my right testicle going to my lower back next to my kidney and butt. i have not seen any swelling. is this serious?
Avatar m tn The cord or whatever it is that is connected to the testicle seems to be a little thicker than the one on the left. There is a little pain in my testicle and a little pain in my groin area. I am a little worried.
Avatar f tn I’m a 35 year old male. 22 years ago I had surgery to remove my left testicle. I am currently experiencing pain in my scrotum on the left side. There is a small bulge that is tender to touch. It becomes more noticeable and more tender when erect. Pain radiates up into my groin area. Was very painful at the beginning of the week and has gotten better, but still some pain there. Any idea what this could be?
Avatar f tn I paid private for my hernia operation two years ago which has left me with chronic pain in my right testicle but they dont want to know me now. This pain is when something brushes against my testicle or my son catches it whilst playing and ever now and again it starts throbbing. I have been showing signs of depression and i want to have to operation to cure this but im told ther is only a 75% of sucess.
5829074 tn?1375034908 I had my inguinal hernia surgery 1 week ago. I still have some pain in the scrotum/testicles. But it turned out that a lot of my discomfort, at least in the perineum, was due to hemorrhoids of all things! It turns out that sitting on a donut pillow was making my hemorrhoids a lot worse. It will take a few more weeks to discern whether the hernia surgery will help the remainder of my pain. Thanks again.
Avatar n tn My husband had the surgery many years ago and he did just fine. You will have to take it easy for awhile though. Depending on how extensive the hernia is, I would'nt be too surprised if they do the surgery out patient. Of course you'll receive pains meds and the Dr will send you home with a script for pain meds.
Avatar m tn Hi, i had an inguinal hernia surgery on the left side and right side 3 months ago . . . on the past few months i didn't feel any discomfort . .but last week my testicle started hurting . . . the pain is not too much but i don't feel comfortable in it . . . i want to ask if it's because of the hernial surgery that i had undergone last 3 months or it is another problem . .. thanks . .
Avatar m tn I developed a illiolinqual hernia on the left side and had hernia surgery where a synthetic mesh was placed. Even after the surgery I continued to have pain in my left testicle and inner thigh. A second exploratory surgery was performed to see if the femoral nerve was entrapped in any way with the mesh from the hernia surgery. The nerve appeared free from the mesh. I have had every nerve block available in my spine, in my pelvic region, and in my testicle.
Avatar m tn After the surgery I was experiencing severe pain and swelling of the left testicle. The testicle was also getting hard and developing fever I also had a knot right below where the scar from the surgery was located (on my left growing area) so the doctor did a ct scan and a sonogram and "determined" that I had a large hydrocyl that had surrounded my left testicle and a smaller hydrocyl that was under the scar from the surgery explaining the knot.
Avatar n tn About a week into taking the antibiotics I felt a tearing and gurgle feeling right at the sight/scar area of a previous(about3-4 yrs ago) hernia surgery. I went back doctor complaining of puffiness and pain in that area and she said there was a hernia and sent me to surgeon (was the same surgeon who did the previous hernia repair) and he said there was no hernia. I was then sent to urologist who said postatitis, gave me flomax and said to alter diet to avoid acidic drinks/foods.
Avatar m tn It seems that the pain I feel originates from where the spermatic cord connects to the inside of my body only on the left side of my penis. I feel pain in the left testicle when it hangs low, but far less pain when it is sucked up into my stomache. could it be possible the spermatic cord is damaged or maybe the connective tissue around it?
Avatar n tn Hello, I had a pain since 6 months in my right testicle. i have been on cipro for a 28 days and then 10 day doxycycline. all the test were negative,, sperm , urine , blood .. no infection have been found.. then a Cat scan showed i have an inguinal hernia.. i did the surgery and fix it, pain didn't go away even after the surgery..
Avatar m tn Since having hernia repair 1.5 years ago, my right testicle cord exits my abdomen going into my scrotum lower than it did before. This causes the right testicle to hang much lower and further back than my left one. I am not in pain, and everything seems to be working fine. The surgery did resolve my hernia and relieve the pain that I was in. I am thankful for that. Even so everyday I regret having the hernia repair surgery. I am discouraged, feel humiliated.
Avatar m tn (back pain, testicle pain, groin pain, what seems like butt muscle pain especially when you sit for a while, bend over, or warm up before the game, all associated with the same side of the body usually), let me guess, when you play soccer/football you are right footed : ) ? my advise see a hernia specialist as soon as possible because it could get serious....
Avatar n tn The past three days the pain is not as bad as it was six days ago. I have no pain in my left testicle before or after I ejaculate and I have no pain when I touch it. I only feel a little pain when Im ready to ejaculate. I noticed this problem the day after I squeezed my penis to prevent myself from ejaculating. Do you think I strained something and it will go away if I rest it, or take an ibprofin? I want to avoid going to the doctor because it kind of embarrassing.
Avatar m tn Every once in a while I have a bad pain in my left testicle. Every couple of months it seems. I can barely walk, or move, without some pretty bad pain. It doesn't hurt when I sit still and don't let anything touch them. and it ususally goes away after a couple hours and has never lasted longer than a day. What can this be from? I had not ejaculated, lifted anything heavy or been stressed at all before. Seems like it came out of nowhere, Could this be a bruise or what?
Avatar n tn It's been 20 days since the Inguinal hernia surgery, but the hernia still feels like a water ball (As much as a testicle) on the side of the testicle. My doctor said it will go away in few weeks. Will it take longer to heal? This is a problem for me. Please explain to me?
Avatar m tn Especially in my left testicle when I walk. Now, after surgery, I still get occasional pain in testicle in same way as before surgery. It only happens when I walk, or run, not when I sit or not even if I put pressure on hernia spot with pushing my stomach. Only when my legs are in movement. I told my surgeon about it, he told me it still might be that stitches are irritating my nerves. And told me to use painkillers and to let him know how it goes after a while.
Avatar f tn Hi, In 1999 I had a vasectomy and developed a hematoma after requiring emergency surgery to remove the blood cloth. The result was that the left testicle was fixed in the scrotum. When the surgery is done the testicle is attached to the inner muscular tissue of the testicle. This caused discomfort sitting or like mentioned with an erection. One thing that I ended up with was a small hole in the scrotum that never healed.
Avatar f tn Good day to you all. I'm a 33 year old man and about 5 years ago I noticed a hard rice sized/bb lump attached to my right testicle on the right side closer to the middle area and bottom. After messing with it, It quickly grew to the size of a pea, and stayed that size and lasted for about 3 years, but then suddenly 2 years ago it disappeared and left me in shock and relief.
Avatar m tn I have read plenty of testimonies of those who suffered from scrotum/testicle pain after an inguinal hernia surgery. Many of you have described the symptoms that seemed so similar to mine, but seemingly you all wound up fine, or perhaps the same thing happened to you, but I'll never know, because the majority of testimonies are never followed up.
